    Pokemon How much is enough?

It's impossible to run out of ideas. There are millions of animals, monsters, mythical creatures and beasts in the real world and only 500-something Pokemon. I don't see a problem with an indefinite amount, but perhaps they could use fresh designers. I could probably think of 151 decent and...

Pokemon An Eeveelution for every type

I think Phanteon would be a nice ghost name. I like Draceon for the dragon type.

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

Cofagrigus deserves to be holo. Point blank. Victini and the cutesy legendaries tend to get far too much attention. I've always resented the fact that such tiny, cute (and half the time, merely variations of Pikachu) animals are amongst the most powerful and popular creatures in the game.

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

Did the old school sets have more? (base, jungle, etc)?

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

I actually wish there were more holos in the B&W sets. I feel like they're really lacking? Like Mandibuzz, Scolipede, Gigalith, Leavanny etc. should've been holos as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, I'm not just horribly impressed with Black and White so far if people can't tell. (though I have grown...

Pokemon An Eeveelution for every type

"Steeleon" is no worse than "Leafeon". I can't believe they were actually that lazy. What about Chloreon? Solareon? Iveon? ...Photosynthesizeon? I mean, Leafeon? Really?

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

Yeah, we'll see! It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. By the way, is there a reason the Black and White cards are essentially worth pennies? Is it because they're brand new and therefore mass produced? Do all new sets start off essentially worthless?

Pokemon Why are there "baby" Pokemon?

Baby Pokemon make no sense to me. For example, they don't really count in the evolutionary chains. Raichu, Wigglytuff etc. aren't stage 2 Pokemon, yet they technically are the third form of their line. A Pikachu is just a Pikachu, and gets no "evolves from Pichu" mentions. What is the difference...

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

Blegh, I feel like it takes them too long to just get on with releasing new Pokemon. They seem to trickle out a few at a time with each set, while the majority of the set is new cards of Pokemon that have already been released in card-form. I'm sure it's all good and well for players, since the...

Collecting "How Much is This Card Worth?" / "Is This a Good Trade?"

RE: The ''How much is a card worth?'' topic. I just pulled a Flying Pikachu...is it worth anything?

    How old is "too old"?

I'm 24 myself, and have been a collector ever since the base set emerged (around age 11 or so). I never fully stopped but have head year+ long hiatus's from purchasing cards because of the "I'm too old for this" mentality...mainly because of everyone else around me who seemed to grow out of it...

What are we getting in Noble Victories?

All these Japanese sets coming out are throwing me off. Is there any news on what exactly the Noble Victories set will consist of? Will it just be a culmination of the recent Japanese B&W sets? Or an English version of one set in particular? Sorry if this the wrong sub-forum...I'm still...

Pokemon An Eeveelution for every type

What if it had scales and was fluffy? You know, like Falcor from The Never Ending Story. I'm not really "for" a dragon-looking Eevee. Somehow a horned, winged, forked tail Eevee just doesn't appeal to me.

Pokemon An Eeveelution for every type

I think the dragon-type should be somewhat of a Pegasus/fox. Wings similar looking to the ones on Dragonair's head, and a cloud for it's collar ruff going up its back and creating a tail. I think it should be a shade of pink. Very cute and almost My Little Pony-esque, but still quite powerful...

    Pokemon If Pokemon were real...

It all depends on how you look at it though, I guess. I'm being wanna-be-zoologist here. Perhaps Milotic wouldn't have lights, but considering many sea-dwelling creatures do, perhaps it would. I don't know, I choose to believe that some of those depictions are pretty accurate. Too bad we'll...

    Pokemon If Pokemon were real...

Anatomically speaking, there's just no way a living organism could retain the traits that make Pokemon look like Pokemon. Most of what makes them what they are, are the anime depictions of them. Realistically, everything from eye form to body shape would be altered in a real-life setting...

    Pokemon If Pokemon were real...

While I think the pictures are mostly intentionally creepy, I think Pokemon would be creepy in reality. They're not normal beings, and when you break it down they're essentially demons, monsters, beasts and ghosts. The Pokemon in the anime, I figure, are about as realistic looking as the people...

    Broke down and bought...

A Japanese Hydreigon holo from the Red collection. I couldn't wait for the English version to come! Does anyone else do this or am I a freak? haha...it was only 7 bucks. Not too bad?

Pokemon Who would on be your 6 Pokemon team?

RE: who would be you 6 pokemon team? There's so many to choose from, I'm sure I'm forgetting half of them out there. But: Hydreigon Serperior Mewtwo Gyarados Entei Zapdos

    Pokemon The Meanest/Scariest Pokemon

Mandibuzz is pretty freaky. She makes her nest out of bones and vultures in general symbolize death and decay.
