Standard "Budget" Umbreon GX Yveltal Deck

Thank you for the input on Kukui. What do you think I should drop for 1-2 Kukui though?

Standard "Budget" Umbreon GX Yveltal Deck

I included all 3 eevolutions for that reason. There are a few grass, yveltal, and mega ray players that are good, and enough fire players for all 3 to be useful. I might keep the fighting fury belt, but might leave it out since Choice band will come out (hopefully) soon. Not sure what he should...

Standard "Budget" Umbreon GX Yveltal Deck

That's part of the problem, since he hasn't made up his mind. Plus, it's been hard for him to borrow decks at our league, since he didn't make the decks and knows very little about them. The reason I don't think he should use VS Seeker is mostly because of the cost, but I'll ask him about the...

Standard "Budget" Umbreon GX Yveltal Deck

So, I introduced my friend to the Pokémon TCG recently, and he really enjoyed it. To sweeten the deal, he managed to pull an Umbreon GX out of our local league's card draw. So, I figured he could make this deck. However, since he is new and not sure how competitive he wants to be, this deck has...

    For the Love of Muk!

One possible candidate to pair Alolan Muk with is Yveltal (Oblivion Wing and or Fright Night) and Yveltal EX. The Yveltals have always been great attackers, and pairing them with Alolan Muk won't slow the deck down at all. If you're looking at a cheaper, or less meta-like(?) deck, I would...

Should I improve this deck or keep it as is and then buy it?

Personally, I believe that this deck might be a great budget deck, but needs a few improvements... The reasons that I say this is because a, the deck engine is weak (but can be improved on a budget) and b, seems a bit clunky. Note: I'm only going to list once basic recommendation for the deck...

    Standard Charging Seahorse

I have a friend who plays the nastiest Kindgra EX deck you've ever seen, that I think could even rival all of the most popular meta decks (if he would play more at larger tournaments :D) The main difference I know of between his list and yours, is consistency. You need to focus on getting turn...

    Standard Solgaleo/M Steelix

Actually, nest ball won't let you use Hoopa's ability, because you play the Pokémon from your deck to your bench, but Hoopa must be played from your hand, so ultra ball would be worth investing in if you want to keep Hoopa.

    Standard Solgaleo/M Steelix

Your list is pretty solid, but faces one problem: EX lock. If you go against a Pokémon with safeguard (like carbink) or you go against a Pokémon like Regice, you're doomed. I recommend adding either cobalion, or just hex maniac and Pokémon Ranger. I think you could replace your hammers with...

Alt. Format Sylveon GX deck (Assuming rotation is cut to Ancient Origins and on)

Eh.... I personally think that Oranguru will see some play, but not until Illima does, and that won't be until Octillery rotates out. Octillery is much better, and with your draw engine should work better than Oranguru (again, for next rotation). Here are my suggestions: -2 Team Flare Grunt...

    Standard M Gallade EX - Hoopa (Post-rotation)

I love this deck (I was looking into it at one point myself) and am currently working on a Mega Alakazam deck that is using the similar strategy of using Pokémon like Hoopa, Spinda, and Meloetta to do the spread damage. One option that I've considered that might work really well for this deck is...

Expanded Deckbuilding Help and Advice on Fire Deck

Those are some other cards that would definitely help the Charizard Setup. Also, with 4 Jynx, or a 3-3 Ribombe line from the Sun and Moon set, I think Charizard's recoil wouldn't amount to anything. (Ribombe's ability let's you heal 20 damage).

Expanded Deckbuilding Help and Advice on Fire Deck

Well, the first step in editing your deck depends on how competitive you want the deck to be. If you want a super competitive deck, you will have to change a lot of things, but for a deck that might not be World's level, but could still do well at your local League (or PTCGO) then the following...

    Expanded Help With Deck

Also, if you're willing to try new partners for Gengar, I recommend Primal Clash Spinda (a bit... odd), who for one energy does one damage counter to all of your opponents Pokémon, and two stadiums that could help are Faded Town, which does 20 damage to all Mega Evolved Pokémon in between turns...

    Expanded Help With Deck

I have a few recommendations for this deck. First of all, you don't need Dragalgae (with Severe Poison), Sigilyph, and Toxicroak EX in this deck, because you want to focus on your two main attackers (Gengar and Noivern) so that you can win games with your decks strategy. This will allow you to...

    Standard (UPDATED)Vespiquen/Yeveltal/Slowking (First Competitive Deck)

Interesting deck, but there are a few ways I think that you could improve this deck. First of all, the 1 of techs... Yes, sometimes you only run 1 of a card, but running only 1 of most of the cards in your deck? That is where you're losing consistency. To solve this, I recommend getting rid of...

Standard A new way to run eevolutions?

Personally, I LOVE this deck idea, and think that you should make sure to continue this thread or at least continue this conversation going, because Golurk does have lots of potential. Now, a few things I have to mention. I see why you use Ace Trainer and Teammates, but A, Teammates doesn't work...

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

Sorry, don't know as much about expanded stadiums, and wasn't thinking about expanded for glalie. Frozen city would work great with the deck

    Fun Expanded Joke Decks

Hmm.... Maybe you could play either a cacturne or dugtrio deck with Mega Glalie, and use Both Rainbow Energy and Team Magma's Secret Base to do extra damage to Mega Glalie.....

    Raikou/Magnezone (Thunder Cats)

Good to know. Maybe to help combat Garb you could try running either Zapdos from Roaring Skies or steam siege Galvantula to hit the Garb for bench damage. I don't know how you would make the room, but they could potentially help out with the Garb problem.
