(1) 6th Generation Coming Soon? [11/26]

It seems like I'm the only one that wants Gen 3 remakes more than...anyone in the world ever. It has to happen. Every game so far has gotten a remake before it. It will happen, unless they stop doing remakes. It's not a question of if, it's (got to be) a question of when.
It may not be for R/S/E's birthday, and it may not be soon, but it has to happen. Because this story, these games are all about tradition. And remakes have become a tradition. I know that wanting isn't going to get any of us anywhere, but please, Gamefreak.

It would make perfect sense to replace remakes with something more creative and new though, if BW2 is any indication.

Otherwise FRLG will be the oldest games again...and Im sure no one wants to see gen 15 to have 2 main games and 14 remakes.

I'd love to see a 6th generation but i would love to see a R/S/E first. Not to mention it seems a pattern of a new gen coming out every 4 years. R/S/E came out in 2002 in Japan. 4 years later in 06 4th gen came out. Then another 4 years in mid late 2010 we see 5th gen. But we never really know i think there is a big chance of seeing 6th gen sooner.

But they had the logenvity of the handhelds to be able to drag out gens 3 and 4 with filler games.
Whereas now, going to 3DS is overdue.

Besides, the next likely release dates will be close to 2014 anyway.

There's a "secret" Eevee evolution there.

Considering all the hype that Eevee's been getting, it is logical that the first 6th Generation Pokemon the be revealed is an Eeveelution.

Ash will probably lose to the Eevee guy (Virgil) in the League, and it will probably come down to Pikachu vs Eevee.

Eevee will probably evolve into Ground Eeveelution because it has frequently used Dig. And then Pikachu's screwed. (unless of course the Eeveelution has a horn) :3

I have been thinking of this idea for a few years now, and i think it would be cool to see in gen six. A new console game, like like colosseum and xd, but the what happens is you start in kanto and follow the most current kanto storyline, then move to johto and leave all your kanto pokemon and start anew and choose from the johto starters and follow the most current storyline, then go on to hoenn and do the same thing as johto, leave all the old pokemon and start anew, then it transitions into orre for the colosseum and then xd storylines, and then move into sinnoh and follow its storyline, then move to unova, and follow its storlyine, then move into the new gen six region and follow its storyline. Once you accomplish all of this, there would be a pokemon tournament where trainers, gym leaders, elite four from ALL the different regions would participate. You would have access to any pokemon you had caught in any of the regions to use in the tournament. Also i think a new shadow pokemon game may be in order. Any thoughts?

if that does happen, then pikachu would still win. This wouldn't be the first time he's had to kill a ground type with lightning moves

Well as I see it, 6th gen is imminent anyway, but an eeveelution as the first new pokemon reveal? Could this be?

I am usually against the idea of more eeveelutions, because the original concept was very "element" oriented.
In other words, Eevee is an innocent pet-like cute creature, which when exposed to the right energy sources, gains elemental abilities, which is quite unique (going from no specialisation to a fully fledged elemental pokemon).

So it makes no sense to me when I see people suggest all kinds of random types for eeveelutions.

I mean, Eevee is not about a pet turning into a Dragon, an insect, undead, gain wings, start doing martial arts, produce poisons, get steel armor..
This sounds like something for a new "Eevee"-like pokemon, not Eevee..

A single additional eeveelution however, could still be a realistic continuation. But what type would still fit of whats left?
I can only take 2 possibilities serious:
-Flying (the WIND aspect of it)
-Ground

Even though I have myself created a Flying Eeveelution, I seriously doubt gamefreak would do that. Because as we saw with Tornadus, it is not that easy to justify a primary Flying type..in other words, any design they could make, would look like Normal/Flying rather than pure Flying, and that doesn't go along with eeveelutions.

Ive always looked at Ground as the elemental/energetic aspect of "earth", with its physical counterpart in Rock.
The picture might actually hint at this more reasonable choice here... the frame is brown.
HOWEVER, The frames colour probably merely is used due to Eevee (It would definitely be lighter brown etc, not directly Eevees brown otherwise.).. Or heck, it could be some special one of a kind Normal eeveelution for all we can know if I really wanna cover all possibilities here, but that would be pushing it e_e
At least it would put a "the end" on the whole obssesive all-the-types-eeveelution-fan-thing, I guess.

But meh, in the end it could still turn out to be something stupid and pointless like Pikachu lmao....

Actually, Eevee's PokDex entry states that it changes form depending on it's enviroment and other causes. So if it lived on a mountain, then I could see it becoming Steel type, or if it lived in a sewer, then it could become Poison type, etc.
Though I don't believe we would get ghost, fighting, or dragon type Eevee-lutions, that doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Can you imagine that they would make us evolve Eevee by taking it to the sewer? When we only had these special rare stones with pure elemental energy, well-being coupled with sunlight/darkness, and places with rocks that have special auras.. I mean they almost felt like sacred places of pure energy sources.

No, you have to have it get bitten by a poisonous snake and then rush it to a pokemon center. If you get it there on time it becomes a poison type, if not it dies and becomes a ghost type lol

I figured we would have a 6th gen XD. This also ties in with the new set coming in about 3 months from now. Count on a 7th gen 8th gen 9th gen and 10th gen. The reason why I say this is because there is always a new gen every 3 to 4 years XD.

Yeah the Eeveelutions look pretty cool XD. Although I doubt 7th gen will be the last since Pokemon is tied with Mario XD. It will be around for A LONG TIME XD.

And you cant do much with Antarctica.


The way I see it could unfold though:

----Hoenn
----Sinnoh
--International (no idea about order):
----North America (Unova)
----Europe (old castles, ancient temples..)
----Asia (silk road, great wall, highest mountains..)
----South America (amazon, huge waterfall, machu pichu..)
----Africa (pyramids, tropics...)
----Australia (more water than Hoenn lol, also antarctica eh?)
