Chespin's evolution: Aw man I love it. I really want this turning into a Grass/Dark Pokemon because I love the idea of a hulking, spiny behemoth. I can totally see the leafy eyebrow turning into a fully grown frown, the paws turning into brutal claws... Ahh I'm really excited about where this could go. I'm praying for an asshole here.

Fennekin's evolution: Way better than I expected, actually. I guess it needs a little assistance from the Psychic typing to maintain balance, with stick thin limbs and all. Speaking of sticks, the one lodged in the tail looks a little strange but hey, "mage" is an interesting direction to take the concept. And "interesting" is a word I did not think I'd be using to describe Fennekin's evolution line.

Froakie's evolution: He's OK, but he doesn't really grab my attention as much as the other two. It's just a very safe design, I guess. If I had asked the population of deviantart to draw Froakie's evolution, I get the impression that 90% of responses would look close to this. I don't really see where the love comes from.

Mega-Garchomp: Jeeeeeeeeeeeeesus. Aerodactyl, hand over your "Manliest Chin Award".

Mega-Mewtwo: JEEEEEEEEEEEEESUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS...

T-Rex: I kind of feel sorry for the other fossil. He just doesn't have a hope in making it to my team so long as this guy is an option. It's like picking between Godzilla and Barney the dinosaur.

bluey: no.

Lion thing: Top tier early game Pokemon, right here. Fire/Normal is going to plow through everything and we all know it.

I think I know why Gamefreak is making these part normal type pokemon. Since fairy is here to bounce off fighting types not to get out of control and since steel lost its ghost resistance they are trying to encourage us to use more normal types which I wouldn't use if they were single typed. And let me tell you Pyroar and Helioptile (if it evolves hopefully )are great party members.

Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with the English names!

Chespin's evolution: Quilladin
Feenekin's evolution: Braixen
Froakie's evolution: Frogadier

Torimian's English name is Furfrou. Clever, it works. The leaker misspelled another name, this time Mewostic. Thankfully, too, as it's a much better pun without the 'k.' Tyrunt is decent, but Amaura is...odd. I just woke up, so I'm probably just not getting it. I'll probably slap myself when the name basis is obvious later.

I think its cool how female Pyroar has lesser mane(?) than the male one, instead of just a smaller mane like Luxray :)
Also my new favorite gen 6 Pokemon is now Pyroar :D

Quilladin reminds me of Palladin.. Yeap, I'm pretty confident this guy will be Grass/Fighting. How about the other names?

First of all; Look at all the trainer customization!!! HNNNNGH!! *explodes into confetti*

-cough-

I love the English names too. If Tyrunt isn't the best name ever, I don't know what is. Oh and THANK ARCEUS, the female Pyroars don't have that awkwardly shaped and oversized mane!

Oh and Quilladin looks much better in the game. Also, is that a hint to paladin in it's name?

So...
The supposedly-going-to-become-Grass/Dark Pokemon, Quilladin, is named... Quilladin. As in paladin. Which, both historically and as a common roleplaying character model, are high-ranking, virtuous knights.

Mmmyeah, I wasn't convinced of Grass/Dark before, and now I'm REALLY not convinced.
From the official site: "Despite its prickly appearance, Quilladin is considered a gentle Pokémon that avoids battle."
d:

Also, Meowstic seem to have eyes or eyespots on the undersides of their ears:

I guess that's actually pretty cool.

Gurrrrl, you're fabulous!!

I'm all over the new infos at the official site. Also, I love the weird eye-like organs on Meowstic's ears!

According to this, Grass types aren't affected by powder or spore moves anymore.

Electric Pokémon can't become Paralyzed.

And Ghost Pokémon can get through Mean Look and Block (not sure if also Abilities like Arena Trap and Shadow Tag).

Quilladin: Grass-type Pignite
Braixen: Fire-type Dewott
Frogadier: Water-type Grovyle

Ok, Quilladin....I. Love. That. Name. Immediate redemption! And Spiny Armor Pokemon...Shining Armor??? XD (If you get this, you win an Internet.)

Braixen: FABULOUS!! So the branch in the tail isn't part of her...and she can use it as a wand/torch?!? Holy fire foxes Batman!

Frogadier: I'm a ninja, I'm a Froakie ninja...I'm a ninja, I'm a Froakie ninja...(If you get that reference, you win another Internet.)

Apart from the known changes to Steel and addition of Fairy, it seems like there is more changes to types!

●Grass-type Pokémon are immune to Leech Seed and powder and spore moves.
Whoa. That didn't happen before oO
Good one. Grass could use even more buffs imo.

●Electric-type Pokémon cannot be afflicted with the Paralyzed condition.
That's new too. Been wondering why this wasn't the case since EVER.

●Ice-type Pokémon are immune to the Frozen condition and take no damage from hail.
Well..okay... was hoping for "Defense improved in Hail" or something too, because its still the frailest type in existence..

●Ghost-type Pokémon are not affected by moves that prevent Pokémon from fleeing from battle.
Mean Look, Arena Trap, Shadow Tag, Magnet Pull have no use against Ghosts, I guess? Minor but interesting o:

I totally forgot they could buff any type in ways like this. But seems like they really don't see how poor Ice is doing, cause they aren't doing anything about it, while claiming to want to add balance.

I don't like that you have to groom the poodle Pokémon to get Beauty trainer soul thing up is lame, as I hate how stupid poodles look when people do that and the fact that fassion is a big part of the game is so stupid, as all it is is shallow people wearing things even more shallow people are wearing.

Electric-types are immune to paralysis? FINALLY!!!!! :D
Also, weren't Grass-types immune to powder status moves in Gen 1? And weren't Ice-types always immune to Hail and the Frozen condition?

Ice has been immune to hail. Don't know about Frozen though.

So Basically they finally used logic and realized Pokemon shouldn't be hurt by their own typing other than pure damage? good.

Also Female Pyroar is fabulous!! reminds me of Groose from Skyward Sword.

I was apprehensive of Froakie, my favorite of the starters evolution because the new skinnier him didn't look like the frog I loved, but seeing him goomba stomp his enemies makes me like him a lot more, Froakie master FTW

Also his name if Frog-grenadier, that means Froakie evolves into the NINJA Demoman who happens to be french, COOOL

Braixen albeit the name I don't understand, looks a lot better in motion like I speculated, has a lot of sass to it just like fennekin.

Quilladin is still awesome like he always was depsite people's lack of true vision. Great name.

Tyrunt is a fun little name, I have no interest in him as of yet but he cool so is amaura, and I going to tap into my former self that couldnt care less about competative battling and tell you guys this wasn't supposed to be set up for competitive but rather amaura is ice type as a defense against Tyrunt, the predator dinosaur dragon and that's it.

Mewtwo and Garchomp still looking good.

Meowstic looks so much better in motion, plus they don't have those ugly in your face phat blue and white colors, now its a more subtle green-grey and white along with those lovely psychic eyes!

I can see clearly now how much a poodle furfrou is, I mean look at that snooty face.

rock types get sp. defense boost from sandstorm?
like in "ALL ROCK POKEMON"?
did that happen until now?
i thought that sandstorm boost was able only through sand force and sand rush!

I'm not a huge fan of the female Pyroar... I think it would look better if it had no mane TBH. Apart from that I like everything else.

Furfrou

Type: Nomal
Ability: Fur Coat
...
The stylish Pokémon Furfrou can have its appearance changed by grooming. There are number of different appearances it can take, and the more you groom it, the more styles may become available!

If you leave Furfrou's style untended for a few days, its fur will grow long and shaggy again, returning to its original look. Keep a regular grooming schedule to maintain Furfrou's style!

Furfrou isn't just stylish-it's also considered very intelligent and loyal to its Trainer. It's said that Furfrou in ancient times, guarded the king of Kalos

Trimming Furfrou's shaggy fur can transfom it into nunber of bautiful appearances

Furfrou's Fur coat Ability, which debuts in Pokémon X & Y, halves the damage taken from physical attacks

Furfrou can learn Baby-Doll Eyes, a Fairy-type move new to Pokemon X & Y. With Baby-Doll Eyes, the user goes first regardless of the Speed. The Move can lower the target's Attack stat

Baby-Doll Eyes....? That doesn't sound like an attack to me for some reason.... Note this was copied and pasted from the Global Link on Facebook... They need grammar lessons.....
