Actually, they only have one screen, and it's a touch screen. According to Nintendo, fingerprint smudges will mess up the 3D, meaning that unless they try to break to copyright of the dual screen gaming system, the PSP can't use the 3D! Woohoo! Nintendo's finally won! :D
Hahaha! That's awesome! :D

Teh best part is the fact that it can automatically download new content to games.
Imagine what the pokemon games would be like.
A Black and White remake for it and when you go into Hiun city it's on fire.
OMG OMG THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN LAST TIME I WAS ON xD

Another money printer, nintendo should know they're illegal xD
I'm just praying that Super Smash Bros. will come onto the 3DS.
If it does, I bet it would be like Melee and Brawl combined.

I asked that earlier. I wouldn't be surprised if the 3DS was close to the 180s - 190s in price. The ting has better graphics than a lot of Wii games themselves.

You know Sony is going to do some copying of the 3D.

I didn't see your post, I was busy freaking out yesterday over how I'll get the money. =P

Hopefully it won't get worse than $200. But it is the first 3D Game System... So I wouldn't put it past them to raise the bar on the price...

That's Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded.
It is the NA version of Kingdom Hearts: Coded. It was released on cell phones in Japan.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded will be for the DS. Kingdom Hearts 3D is a different game altogether for the 3DS.

For Nintendo, Nice job on the 3DS and the Press Conference, I think it was leagues better than what Sony or Microsoft did(but dont tell that to the fanboys though >.>). The 3DS looks amazing and the new games being announced for both the wii and the 3DS seem superb. Let's hope 3DS is a success. ;)

Wait, since when did the PSP have a Touch Screen? :(
I've seen an overlay that converts a normal PsP screen into one, but it's not made nor sponsored by Sony.

Oh I see, PSP2 is said to have a touch screen - but PSP2 is way too far into development now for them to change that or put in 3D effects, even if they did crack the technology.

Rest assured that Nintendo will have a firm grasp on this new 3D technology for quite some time.

Ninja Edittt~
Aside from price (I'm guessing at least a $259 price tag at launch) I really want to know what the battery is capable of. With more power comes more draining on the battery. I want to know if playing in full 3D is more draining if in 2D, and how long I can play for each.

I always trade in my games to get stuff like that. But in this case (as i did with the gameboy) i will trade in my 2 Ds's!

Edit: yay 200th post!

im glad i never invested in a dsi. :3 pretty keen for the 3ds, and this way i can afford it. is there a release date for outside of USA? like australia? . i see so much potential.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D looks incredible. I think the graphics for the 3DS beat out the graphics for a lot of Wii games.

Anyone have pics of that they'd like to share?

You'll have to go to the bottom, click Nintendo titles, and Ocarina of Time should be the first one on the list.

That is so awesome. Suddenly, my Christmas List this year just got bigger...

Ocarina of time, no doubt amazing. Must get.

Kid Icarus: Uprising. Do I even need to explain? So...amazing...

Paper Mario...ahh...

The graphics already look better than any I have seen, and that is without seeing the 3D in person. I cannot wait to get this system. I just wish they told us the release date of those games...if they did, I couldn't find it. :(

Why did there have to be only women handing out the 3DSes? >.>
ANYWAYS, I was surprised at how the 3DS looked. I expected something completely different... Not that it's a bad thing. I hate how the analog stick forces the d-pad to be lower than the control buttons. :<

Because nobody would have liked big fat people carry the 3DSes. _-_

The price will be probably around what the DSi XL is now. The DSi/DS Lite/DSi XL will have price cuts probably.

dmaster out.

Does it matter? The games have been confirmed to be for the DS and DSi. But Since the 3DS has backwards compatiblity you should be fine either way. Nintendo made a smart decision there.
The unit is backwards compatible, that doesn't mean the games are.

I didn't say the games were backwards compatible. I said the 3DS was. Since BW are made for the DS/i it shouldn't matter if he/she has a DS, DSi or 3DS as all will be able to play the games.

I am pretty sure this answered his/her question. :/

Anyways... Nintendo did alright on their conference. The 3DS looks great, and to see that many developers are already looking to put their games on the handheld is good news. Metal Gear, new Kingdom Hearts (not Re:coded), Star Fox, Resident Evil games are really gonna make this handheld one to remember. It will probably cost 200-250 dollars at release though.

But besides the announcement of the 3DS, Nintendo kind of fell apart. I would say they beat Microsoft, but Sony went beyond any of the competitions. It had the best motion aspect at the conference. (Kinect, while interesting, seems only for family and excerise games). They also announced a multitude of system exclusives which will no doubt be the most coveted games this year.

My biggest question is will it be region locked?

I've grown accustomed to importing games, and I would really hate not being able to play them on an American 3DS.
