(1) 'Plasma Gale' Victini-EX, Articuno-EX, and Set List Revealed [9/11]

Waitaminute.
Did anyone notice "Victory Piece" is one of our ACE SPEC cards? How much you wanna bet it's really powerful and exclusive to Victini-EX?
Maybe something like: As long as this card is attached to Victini-EX, All of you opponent's pokemon are treated as Pokemon-EX.
Or makes his attck do an additional hundred to Pokemon-EX... so many possibilities!
EDIT: lol just noticed the translation. Victini just got 1000% better.
 
Scramble Switch. Whoa. This is definitely gonna see play in Terrakion decks. I'm not excited, and this card is definitely game-changing. I'm disappointed with the Victini-EX. Wish we had a different Pokemon, despite the fact its first attack is amazing.

I don't think it's overpowered because it balances out the format (In my opinion). Lugia and Plasma cards in general are really broken, so making there stupid broken energy a hindrance against it helps the format (Again, my opinion). I don't think a card is overpowered if it's easy to counter. If a deck doesn't run any of them, Articuno is bad.

Articuno doesn't hamper Lugia....? If it has Plasma Energy, it's paralyzed. Now that I think about it, Articuno is still pretty bad against Lugia, since it discards the Plasma Energy, and by the time you set up Articuno it will have discarded the Energy and just be able to Colress Machine them on or just attach them only when needed. And it only works against the first Lugia. So never mind, Lugia is still broken, and I still hate this format, sigh. Articuno is still really good against other Plasma Energy using Pokemon though.
 
It says on THIS Pokemon, not on the defending pokemon. It's not only good against other plasmas, since it paralyzes everything.

Wow. So, with Victory Piece, Victini-EX can attack for free... or am I reading it wrong?
Also, Paralyze every turn with damage is insane...
 
I was sincerely worried about this format until this set. I have a feeling this set will balance things out again!

Where is everyone seeing cards like Magnezone already!? When I read the translation I vomited rainbows.

Why does everyone like Victini + ACE SPEC? It's still ONE copy of it in your deck making Victini still useless, in my opinion.

On a side note. Today I bought 5 boosters of DRX after not buying Pokemon cards for a really long time and I pulled a Giratina EX! This has re-sparked my passion for tournament play, even if the meta-game is iffy right now.
 
Most of the translations of the Rs (i.e., most fully evolved Pokemon) are done. If you need a translation of one of them now, post in here. Otherwise, wait until we get the Cs translated and stuff.
