(1) 'Plasma Gale' Victini-EX, Articuno-EX, and Set List Revealed [9/11]

it's ability says that as long as it's active, the defending pokemon can't retreat. it's attack for [C][C][C][C][C] does 30 damage times all the plasma pokemon you have in play (max damage cap of 180)

I saw it's translation on 6P....

Edit: here's the exact translation:

Snorlax - Colorless - 130 HP
Basic

Ability: Guard
As long as this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, the Defending Pokémon can't Retreat.

[C][C][C][C][C] Team impact - 30x
Does 30 damage times the number of Plasma Pokémon you have in play.

I like it. Its better than I thought it would be

Magnezone – Lightning – 140 HP
Stage 2 – Evolves from Magneton

Ability: Double Brain
You may play 2 Supporter cards per turn instead of 1.

[L][L][C] Gyro Ball: 80 damage. Switch Klinklang with one of your Benched Pokemon. Then, your opponent switches the Defending Pokemon with one of his or her Benched Pokemon.

Ummm....

I just realized this set only has 1 {DRG} type. D:
Druddigon is forever alone.

They're probably going to be spread out now for a while, there's only D/P left and only three families from DS to redo in a main set. I wouldn't expect more than one family per set from now on.

Unless we get a gym leader or world championship set(s) soon. (WC ideally so we can finally get Red and Blue owned cards)

Lol at Magnezone translation.
QUAD MANAPHY XD
Manaphy is actually Ok. It can work in Blastoise very well. Too bad catcher is in this format.
Reprint junk arm is junk. Why would I waste my 1 ACE SPEC on that? If it wasn't an ace spec however, format ruined, hello Darkrai and Eels again.

Snorlax on the front page say's it's attack costs 4 Colorless, it should be 5. And Magnezone says Klinklang. wut

Also:

Amoonguss - Grass - HP90
Stage 1 (Team Plasma) - Evolves from Foongus

[C] Astonish: Flip a coin. If heads, choose 3 cards from your opponent’s hand without looking. Look at the card you chose, then have your opponent shuffle that card into his or her deck.

This needs to be fixed as well please^^

That Magnezone is way good. I think the format could have taken an interesting direction with it if

a) it wasn't for the stupid Rare Candy errata
-or-
b) it was a stage 1 or basic

Do you guys think it's playable?

magnezone GL would be broken lol
I think tis playable. It can help thin your deck and can improve consistency. You can use it with Darkrai for consistency, or in a lock deck. Makes Accelgor better for sure...

SO...MANY...GOOD...CARDS...

Uh, wow. Talk about some amazing abilities and stuff.

Clefable looks AWESOME, it is unfortunately hard to get out but amazing if you do. It's like a mini-BTS that can be used for one Pokemon per turn.

Magnezone....meh. Gives you great consistency....by sacrificing consistency because it's a Stage 2. Doesn't seem worth it to me, but who knows.

Snorlax, when charged up, completely obliterates everything if your field is filled with Plasma Pokes. I actually see a faint bit of hope that this card could stop Lugia EX because it OHKO's it with a full bench.

Togekiss...Well, it stops catcher, which is huge. Unfortunately, it's gotta be active, so I can't see it being used for anything other then helping set up, which a Stage 2 isn't exactly ideal for.

OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD X 10000000

That feel when your favorite Pokemon artist illustrates your favorite Pokemon. THAT FEEL.

Oh my God.

I never thought this day would come. I'm getting 5 boxes of this so I can have 5 of these Gallade cards, ohmyGod.

Garde-Gallade coming back babe 8)

I have seen many good cards, and many combo cards. Togekiss+Magnezone or Gothitelle+Magnezone looks so good.

But the one I love the most is Articuno-EX. Love that Pokemon, and gonna play the deck right that way (Keldeo/Articuno/Blastoise)

Oh, also: Victini-EX attacking with no energies ^^
