(1) Play 'Black' and 'White' on the Internet; Clear Screenshots and Artwork [7/14]

My thoughts on this(minus the fact he is using it in a negative manner, but anyways...)

Just thinking about this is making me fill to the brim with excitement. It would be redundant to basically just put everything from the game cart online, so I figure it only be used for areas not in the game already. Like, for example, after the game has been out for a while update the site to have a Hoenn-themed area(so you can capture the Hoenn Mons online, then transfer them back to your DS cart). Maybe have an online Battle Frontier that gets updated every so often. Just...wow. I'm really pumped for this game, possibly even moreso than I was for HG/SS(which is an amazing feat).

The clearer screenshots look great. And playing online is superb. I've been waiting for a long time to play real Pokemon games online. I hope they don't screw it up and don't have too many limitations for playing...

dmaster out.

Eh, I'm very excited about the online possibilities, but these sprites still look incredibly blocky from the perspective behind the player's Pokemon. The opponent Pokemon looks find, but I'm still hoping they'll fix things up in time for release. I understand what's going on with regards to the scaling/rotation tech, and the limitations of that tech, I just wish they could have made it a bit higher res, particularly given how gorgeous sprites have been in a lot of other DS titles.

I am quite excited about the online connecting. This is pretty cool, and that you might be able to play Black and White on the computer which is really good. The map of the Isshu Region is pretty big, there must be a lot of places to visit. The art of the Pokemon look really nice as well, I can't wait to see how they will be animated during battle.

And that is why you play legit Pokemon~
I've done so ever since the first games came out. I'm talking about the people who use ROMs.

They shouldn't use ROMs and should fork over $40 to Nintendo like all of the legit players do.:D

Pokemon on the web? Nonsense. Such a magical concept could never come true. I must be dreaming...

*pinch myself*

Oh! I'm not dreaming! Cool!

I figured, I wasn't blaming you or anything, but I know there are loads of people who play Pokemon on ROMs only. My friends included, I berate them for it on a regular basis. ;D

For Pokemon especially. >: I'm against pirating a game if you can buy it in stores, and working at a game store has only strengthened this opinion of mine. xD

but wouldnt people be able to hack the file and make there team stronger or stuff like that?

this all seems pretty interesting i cant wait for more info to be released about this whole thing

This thing with playing on the internet sounds interesting. I wonder if it will be possible to pay to play the game on your computer as a direct download, with no need for a Nintendo DS system. Would that be going to far?

i think that would be helpful for somebody who doesnt own a DS

Maybe they will make it so that Black and White become like MMO's when you upload them to the site! You could play on a serveer, and other trainers would appear in the game with you, and you could challenge them to battle or cool things like that!!! I'm so excited to see how this turns out. Can't wait till next months Coro Coro.

i wonder if they give you a user name for this site or if you have to make your own account

I don't like Zekrom's sprite... it looks weird.

The rest of the stuff looks cool though.

They extended the map north, but cut off the sides which were shown in CoroCoro...

I would really like to see the full map in one picture. Is that too much to ask?

EDIT:
What is the orange line with text that is over the opposing Pokemon in some of the screen shots?
