[M543]Afro Break: Physical Normal PP: 15 Power: 120 / Accuracy: 100 Effect: Returns to user 1/4 of HP lost by opponent due to this attack (recoil).

As funny as this attack is...isn't it EXACTLY the same as Double Edge? Same PP, same Power, same Accuracy, same Recoil, same Typing.

@PokeMontage, they are giving it to Buffalon, some attack are pointlessly same with different name.

@Tamazura

I just thought about it, imagine pairing an electric pokemon and and another one that learn soak.

[M483]Butterfly Dance: Other Bug PP: 20 Power: --- / Accuracy: --- Effect: Raises SpA, SpD, and Speed by 1 stage.

I hope this isn't limited to Butterfree and Beautifly, who suck (I still love you Butterfree!)

Imagine Urgamoth learning this attack! It would kill everything!

and this is their list of ability

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking, pairing Mamanbou with Denchura or the lamprey.

[M504]Shell Crack: Other Normal PP: 15 Power: --- / Accuracy: --- Effect: Raises Atk, SpAtk, and Spe but lowers Def and SpDef.

I love this, it's perfect move for me since I am all offense, lol. I hope the steel/bug knight learns it :O

[M506]Evil Eye: Special Ghost PP: 10 Power: 50 / Accuracy: 100 Effect: Doubles in power if the target has a status ailment.

This is going to be amazing on Desukan if he learns this along with a status move...

@PokeMontage I just realize now but haven't check, the different between Afro Break and Double-Edge could be the percentage recoil, Double-Edge is 1/3, I think, this move is 1/4.

[150] Jack of all trades: Power of non-STAB moves increased

Who has this ability O_O

and wow, broken armor kinda sucks. Poor trash heap, I love it's weird design, I'd totally use that above all poison types, especially if it learns the sludge wave O-o

Oh, right, Double Edge deals 1/3 recoil while Afro Break deals 1/4, so Afro Break is a bit better than Double Edge.

I still would have preferred it if Afro Break wasn't a Normal move, though.

I hope the animation is, like, a picture of a giant afro exploding on the opponent. I would die.

I think every effect is amazing, but the list is too short, I guess they sacrified the time to make more pokemon instead of more moves and abilities. The exact opposite of gen IV.

I really like the Normal/Fighting version of the Bratz doll.

Why does the Transformer have different colored lights though? Is it just an aesthetic change?

Lol, true. I would have preffered some better bug moves. But personally I'd rather have more monsters then moves and abilities after that disgusting slop heap that was Gen 4. I'm like, totally satisfied with Gen 5 (except for a couple of horrible stat distibutions, mainly zuruzukin, barujina, jaroda, datsutodasu and mamanbou >=(

and Burunkeru ;-;

Thank you for that, Naomichi.
I haven't seen some of those yet O_O
I wish they never would've started this form bullcrap.
It's getting annoying, as the ones that look too similar should just be entirely different Pokemon and considered counterparts, and the ones that look too similar to each other (coughARCEUScough) should at least be a little more creative.

But nonetheless, I'm still happy to see that you guys are covering the games.

Yep, wonder about Genosect, too, the change is so subtle, but it might mean something.

Ooh, thanks for those sprites Naomichi, I was wondering about Meroetta's other forme!

As far as Genosecto, I saw this possible explanation on Pokecharms

"The ancient Bug Pokemon that was altered by Team Plasma. The cannon on it's back powered up." Genosekto is shown having 3 further sprites that seem to show the cannon on its back powering up in three stages. This would seem to be it charging a new attack.

So many of the shinies are just bright, eye-searing blue and purple O_O'
The back sprites are all really nice, with a few exceptions. Can't wait to see them in motion ;)

If you ask me, I think Genosect is kinda like a fireflies, bar volbeat and illumise. I mean, look at it, it look like a beetle, and the light on its back or if not a firefly, I would say it get inspiration from a Bombadier beetle, which the abdoment can fire boiling liquid hench the gun.

Well, it dosen't exactly look like a beetle, however, ever since Pokemontage brought it up the fact that the 3 events look like they are based off toy lines, it does remind me of this:
