The shinies are again lackluster in this set. Shiny Milotic still has to evolve (crud), I don't like Yanmega's color, and all in all, they don't look much better than the regular versions of their cards. :F

dmaster out.

100 posts, eh? Isn't that just begging for spam? Oh well....

Anyway, the two cards that have just been translated are OK.....Chatot G is nice, but Swampert is......eh.

I hope that Yanmega is actually playable....<3 Shiny Yanma and Articuno reprint.

Chatot G is definately interesting, to say the least.

Poke-Power: Disturb and Spy
I SEE SPY! BLOODY SPY!

I guess Swampert is decent at most. But it'll be good at prereleases, where the majority of Pokemon will be basics, especially with all the Pokemon-SP.

100 posts.
I guess it's possible, but I don't know how many posts are on a page.
Lemme check how many we have thus far.

How bout that.
This makes 86.
14 to go.

The new Swampert could be pretty good with the old Swampert and something that lets you attach {F} to it while on the bench. Just attach the energy and move it up to Swampert.

Why in the world does Cyrus have a Camperupt? Isn't that a Team Magma Pokemon? =/

Also, why can't they give another Pokemon to Mars, Jupiter or Saturn? All the Gs now go to Cyrus.....boo-hoo.

10 minutes and 11 posts to go before the translations are revealed. I can't wait.

I suppose, but it's still so slow to attach four energy.
Especially fighting/water, which are basically the types left out as far as extra energy acceleration goes.
And four turns to do 90 just isn't enough.
In four turns, you could do 240 with BIBAREL.

I can see how he has his uses, but in big-time play, he lacks the brawn AND brain to make the cut.

IMO, they should have made like a Zubat and Golbat owned by the TG Grunts. And, I thiknk the Cyrus card looks reall.... peculiar. I like the PT one better. And why would Cyrus have a Chatot, Camerupt, Electrode (not in this set), Manectric, and others (EDIT >) including Arcanine, Sableye, and Raticate.

I'm really hoping that you didn't actually go count, because the post # is in the upper right and part of your post.

Swampert is epic fail, there is nothing that can really accelerate it besides a heavy line. Regirock and Swamper GE could both be used to help deal decent damage, but if you face a non-G deck then you are probably going to lose.

Same reason Cynthia has a Rayquaza?
Cause they needed someone epic to own the new SP's?
May never know.
I'm so excited about this.
I'm skipping my friend's fighting game fest tonight to see them. :B

That's the one I was thinking of, Regirock. Using that and both Swamperts, you can have a 90 damage dealing Swampert on turn 2. Not a good strategy, but someone would probably use it.

Nah, I didn't.
I just went to the forum to see the total next to the thread.
Thanks for showing me the post count thing...
Somehow never noticed till now.

Well, at first sight, it looks like Seaking is the only Pokemon that can be a donker, and it might not even become one due to a bad effect....

If there are no donkers in this set, we'll be on a roll. 2 sets without donkers. How about that?

EDIT: Oh my gosh, 4 posts.

In total, if you went by this, you'd need to discard at least 5 cards, get a stage-2 out and active, and have one of each [F] and [W] energy already.

Tough one.

That is too much nowadays...

Marshtomp's Pokepower might be able to help with these costs, even though I doubt it.
