I've been on this thread since it first started.. I read every single comment... He's said it a few times on here as well as it being on the front page.. the fact you guys can't read is phenomenal...

What you just posted he said on the 11th. Mine on the 13th, this whole discussion only exists because he seemed to have changed his mind from what he said on the 11th to the 13th. If you can't post anything from after the 13th, I'm afraid the latest thing he said is indeed that he won't post any more.

Also, no need to be rude.

First off, he said he wasn't going to post it all at once.. there's a difference between not posting at all and slowly posting things throughout time, which I think was his intention to begin with... which is why he's waiting to see if they're true or not.... the change of mind isn't that much different than what he originally posted, anyway. He could just be reacting to the people here, I can't speak for him, and neither can you.

Hm I took 'probably not' as he's probably not going to post it, but I guess there are different ways to interpret the things he said. I can't recall him saying anything like he's going to post things over time(really if he did please quote it) and I too read the whole thing. Originally he said as soon as it is proven, he'll post it all. The next thing was the probably not thing, which I think you can take as he's probably not going to post or not going to post all or not going to post right now or only when gf takes time releasing stuff.
Also, I have no clue what his plan is, nobody knows, I just wanted to make clear that not everyone is stupid and can't read as you said. He indeed said he probably won't post more, that's what everybody's worried(or happy for some) about. Of course it wasn't 100 percent clear, but just as much as I can't know for sure that he won't post more, you can't know that his intent is to post more over time and saying everyone's an idiot for 'not reading it' is horribly ignorant of you, because they did, they just interpreted it another way.

Again I'm not saying I'm right or you're wrong, because nobody knows, I just wanted to point out how rude your comment seemed to me, since I read it all and still feel like he's more likely to not post anything, that doesn't make me dumb or anything. I didn't want to claim your opinion invalid or anything.

I like WPM, but I believe that he made a mistake and has to deal with it now. I think he needs to post something to let us know his thoughts and what he plans on doing. I personally, am fine with whatever. If he decides to tell us, great. If not, then oh well. I'm whatever on the whole thing.

Also, I'm a huge Legend of Korra fan. Waiting once every month or once every two months for Pokemon news in nothing compared to waiting 11 months, now, with Legend of Korra.

If/when we get aerial battles, I'm imagining awesome combat animation between the likes of (everyone's favorite dragon-wannabe) Charizard, Salamence, Braviary, Latios (levitate!), etc. But then, Rotom? Tynamo? What about pokemon with the Air Balloon equipped? Or the ones who are described as flyable (Garchomp)?

Also the leak mentioned fairy as the second gym, so we should expect early-game fairy-type pokemon or not-yet-fairy-type pre-evolutions (that will be evolved to the fairy-type stage for the gym leader) to be available early on?

Thanks for that :) I really wonder how those aerial battles will work(if they're true), will the trainer be sitting on the pokemon while fighting(probably not, since pokemon like unown or tynamo have levitate, too :D maybe only pokemon you can actually fly on will be able to do it? Maybe instead of using he hm fly we'll be ale to just fly around on a pokemon like the riding thing? Maybe those battles will occur when flying to an other location, like a mini game or something?

I guess if there will be a whole fairy gym that early on, there will probably be some weaker fairy type pokemon(or weaker old pokemon reclassified), I really hope they won't oly make some fragile, feminine and weak tinker bell, pink fairy types, I just have to think of pans labyrinth all the time and those creepy dark fairy type things, I really hope there will be a big variety of what is classified as fairy. I'm really excited for the new type, though, it should mix things up a little.

Also dual type attacks. I wonder if they'll cap the damage at 6x damage or somewhere to not make them horribly op if there's a big type advantage. Probably they'll not make too many of them(just like they did with that mixing attacks type thing in double battles in black and white) although I hope they won't be just like 2 gimmicky attacks or something. I thought maybe, since all starters are dual type, they will make one for each of them? Just a thought.

I'm kinda looking foward to the dual type attacks and how game freak will handle them. If these attacks are going to be as overpowered as everyone thinks they might be then i think they should go to weaker pokemon. Balance things out a bit. It would be nice to see pokemon like Butterfree be somewhat viable in competitive play.

I like how dual-type attacks could help weak dual-typed Pokemon, like Butterfree for instance. It would help out a lot of those UU and NU Pokemon out.

I prefer Gyarados getting Dragon over Charizard.

Anyway, only Levitate and Flying (I imagine they'll be all levitate and Flying Pokemon). Air Balloon shouldn't count IMO and if it learns Levitate even if it can only get itself up, I believe that they'll be counted. Basically, as long as the Pokemon is Flying type or its ability is Levitate, it can participate. No matter how the Pokemon looks like.

what you think?
That is a growlithe. Look closer and you can see the poofy tail and part of the head.

I think that only a small amount of moves will get dual-type status. Things that come to mind: Muddy Water (currently a Surf-Mud Slap hybrid), Blaze Kick, etc. Someone also suggested elemental punches.
I'd guess that the multipliers would stack (e.g. Water-grass move on Geodude would be 2*2*2*2 lol overkill) and immunities cancel out the entire move (e.g. Water-grass move on Water Absorb Quagsire would be 0) and resistances cancel out super effectiveness (e.g. Water-grass move on Squirtle is neutral).
I have an feeling that it'll turn out like Water/Grass/Fire Pledge gimmick (in a double battle, if your pokemon use 2 of the moves on the same turn, something special happens) if really unusable moves are dual-type.

I have my doubts that GF would reclassify ol' classics but it'd make Gyarados a lot more viable in competitive play. And I really wanted to see Garchomp fly *glances at shiny new Japan set*

Venezuelan poodle moth looks like it could be a bug/fairy type. notice its not pink and really girly.

Oh I like that idea :)
In my opinion there are so many cool options for interesting fairy types, I just hope they won't be all pink and girly.

Do we know the official release date? I'm guessing its October 24 since I preordered both games at Target about a month ago and on the back of the preorder card it says "Do not sell after 10.24.13"

I believe the only thing that was official is October as month of release. The date on your preorder card is really interesting, though. I wonder if it could be the release date, if so, I really hoped it would come earlier in October :O

Nah, the sell-by date on Target preorder cards is always one week before a game's release date, and the 24th is one week before the last day of October, so it still leaves the whole month open. I imagine once the release date is announced, any additional cards they print up will be changed to reflect that.

what you think?

For the love of God it's Pidgey. I posted a huge Pic of it in another thread but I don't feel like digging around for it.

EDIT: I found it. Prepare to zoom out.

The mini sprite for Growlithe and the one circled in the picture are nothing alike.
Yes it does. Can't you see the tuft on his head? The tail? That can only be one of two things and it sure as hell is not a flareon. Also look at this and compare it to the sprite you see in the pokedex. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Ani058MS.png It's a growlithe, No doubt in my mind. Also look at Pidgey's menu sprite. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Ani016MS.png
. It looks nothing like a pidgey.
