These are all new sprites, aren't they? What's the point of comparing them to the picture when none of them are going to match anyway?

absolfusion said:Yes it does. Can't you see the tuft on his head? The tail? That can only be one of two things and it sure as hell is not a flareon. Also look at this and compare it to the sprite you see in the pokedex. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Ani058MS.png It's a growlithe, No doubt in my mind. Also look at Pidgey's menu sprite. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Ani016MS.pngTrainer of Shadows said:The mini sprite for Growlithe and the one circled in the picture are nothing alike.
. It looks nothing like a pidgey.

No, its definitely not Growlithe, for a start the tail is the wrong colour. Growlithe's tail is yellow, while the tail on the new pokedex is red/brown. Then theres the shape of the tail. Growlithe's tail ends in a tuft, while the tail on the pokedex has a flat end.
I looked through all the party sprites side by side with the pokedex pic, and the only ones that looked similar enough in both colour and shape were Pidgey and Spearow and even then they weren't a good enough match. In my opinion its a new Pokémon.

Most likely. Haven't all Pokemon games let you transfer from past games?
DorianBlack said:Honestly, I hope they do make an impassable barrier and start fresh. It would give them less excuse to leave out older Pokémon that haven't been obtainable in the most recent games in years, especially legendaries and previous starters.

I've actually always wanted to be able to travel to all the regions and now that they could easily do this it would be a waste not to. The only thing we've gotten is being able to go to Kanto in HGSSNightingirle said:DorianBlack said:Honestly, I hope they do make an impassable barrier and start fresh. I would actually like that idea.
Mostly I hope they won't make another bazillion legendaries again, that are annoying to obtain and have another thousand different forms. I liked the first two gens number of legendaries, why should there be so many of them... I know many people like having all those but I never use them and because they are sometimes hard to obtain, they just hinder me from completing my pokedex.
I wonder, now that the games are on the 3 ds they could easily add dlcs with like whole regions(some of the old regions maybe?) you could visit to get the old pokemon...
Which, because they were remakes of Gold and Silver, wasn't all that spectacular.Giratina210 said:I've actually always wanted to be able to travel to all the regions and now that they could easily do this it would be a waste not to. No, no, no! I'd hate that! I love being able to transfer in my Shinies, my EV-trained stuff, my events, my legendaries, my event legendaries, my in-game teams of the past... Some of these Pokémon have been with me for 10 years!DorianBlack said:Honestly, I hope they do make an impassable barrier and start fresh. Nah, the sell-by date on Target preorder cards is always one week before a game's release date, and the 24th is one week before the last day of October, so it still leaves the whole month open. I imagine once the release date is announced, any additional cards they print up will be changed to reflect that.

what you think?
For the love of God it's Pidgey. I posted a huge Pic of it in another thread but I don't feel like digging around for it.
EDIT: I found it. Prepare to zoom out.

What makes you think it would be easy? That would take up a huge amount of memory, more than any individual 3DS card could hold. It's just not possible.
