(1) Tabunne, Basurao, Darumakka from B/W Demos; Next 'CoroCoro' Details [8/10]

Wow. These Pokemon are getting Weirder and weirder XD. Does anyone have a U.S. release date yet or is that still up in the air and will we know an official date within the next few weeks and how will these games entertwine with D/P/PL/HG/SS and will they be compatable with the DSL and beyond the DSL system? Thanks.:)

If Mijumaru does turn out to evolve into a Water/Fighting type, I'm definitely choosing it because I love Fighting types. If it doesn't I think I may go with Tsutaaja.

Darumakka is very cute. The pose he's in looks like he's looking for a hug. *hugs him*

I'm also glad that plant thing turned out fake because it was ugly. I kind of liked Gigaiasu's fake prevo, though.

I'm in love with Tabunne, no clue why but love it. DEFINITE spot on my team don't care what its' stats are, or what it evolves into..if it evolves at all. This may sound silly sounding but for me it looks like something out of Lilo & Stitch (High five to anyone who watched that show) No idea why xD

Omigosh, you're right, I KNEW there was something familiar about it but I couldn't quite place it! <3 Lilo and Stitch the series!!!

It resembles Angel the most I think!

My money is on that Tabunne image being fake. Comparing it to the other pictures form the demo, the supposed Tabunne looks as if it is pasted onto a pre-existing image.
I mean look at Munna, it has a much more grittier sprite compared to Tabunne. If it were a real image both of the pokemon would look gritty.
I truly believe the unknown pokemon from earlier demo pictures is the true Tabunne. It fits the description much more.

To me, Tabunne looks like it can be sort of a joker pokemon. It's ears sorta resemble the ends of a joker's hat with the bells at the end.

Darumakka looks like an mini version of the Yeti of the East. Furry body, stubby arms. He's kind of cute.

The Water-Fighting typing for Mijumaru's evo's rather possible. Go look at one of the old pics where Mijjy's evo's drawn together with Tsutaaja's evo. The way the Mij evo's arms and legs are poised, as well as the overall look kind of implies that he's rather speedy and in some fighting-like stance. For a moment then I thought it was a Fighting type lol.

Could be another case of a cute Poliwag turning into one violent Poliwrath. =P

And was CoroCoro trying to scam us or what. Another Black Document? Cmon I though the Master Document's going to have everything inside. And now they make it seem like Black > Master.

And I SWEAR THAT THE TABUNNE IN THE FIRST PHOTO OF THE POST'S A FREAKING FAKE. IT LOOKS SO OUT OF PLACE. And look at how the sprite leans to the back so awkwardly even though its a bipedal Pokemon. Fake I swear. FAKKKKEEEEE.

I would have to agree that something seems a bit off about Tabunne's sprite, but maybe it's just in our heads since we were (somewhat) fooled by the previous fakes and are now on guard.

Say what you will but They both are pink and cream, they both are normal type they both know similar attacks Tabunne has bells on it's ears and cows usually have bells around there necks. It looks like a cow or a calf to be cows have ling thin ears like Tabuune and it can also change during evolution and if you say well it cant be because theres only V gen Pokemon in this game well read my number one of my signature.

Having the same colors and same types doesn't really mean anything. Cows have udders, even as calves, and Tabunne has none. It doesn't have hooves either, but paws instead. We can't even be certain those things on its ears are bells. And I really don't think a male Pokémon can evolve into a female only Pokémon. Azurill may change genders sometimes, but I don't think that's intentional and these games might correct that.

I think Tabunne looks more like a rabbit, a puppy, or a hamster with long ears.

So they may do something weird by changing genders even though it's strange and it's name translates to bells and noise or something and what Salamandar has a Flame on it's tail. It doesn't have to have an udder till it becomes a miltank gamefreak try to make pokemon different from the normal animals they are based off.

Yeah, the fact that the Tabunne shown is male completely proves it's not a Miltank evo (as if the obvious reasons werenn't good enough)

Azurill's gender change does seem like a glitch, and Azurill and Marill can be bother genders anyways.

But a male pokemon would not just evolve into a female only or vice versa, that just makes beyond no sense.

I just noticed that the battlefield changes depending on the season.

Shikijika is pink here, which means it's spring. Notice the summer green field?

It's gone in this picture. Shikijika is brown, which means it's winter. The field/grass has a colder color here.

Pretty cool detail.

It's those little details that convince me into buying this game. Appreciation :)
Lol

I'm hoping that the winter season won't have Hail in every battle, or Sunny Day during the summer. It probably will, but I think that will get annoying after awhile. You'd have to change around your team to counter those weather effects each season.

For anyone interested, here's Tabunne's pic zoomed in:

Screen shots of Pokemon have been known to be weird this generation. You have to remember that the sprites are in constant movement.

Finally, CoroCoro has announced that their next issue will be called the "Black Document" and will feature many new Pokemon and storyline details. It will hit store shelves on September 15th, three days before Black and White are released. Considering that there are now 14 Pokemon that have yet to be shown in CoroCoro that we as Internet fans know about, the next issue might not contain many new Pokemon for us, if any. We'll of course post scans and translations of the magazine's Black Document as soon as it is released!

I only counted 12, or did you forget to fix that after you updated the page with those fakes? Or did you perhaps include those 2 names you mentioned a while ago (Burroko and Onokkusu)?

Tabunne sorta looks like this:

I think it's a fake.
