Won't happen lol, Pokemon games were never meant to have two regions, the only reason they did this for gold and silver was because they thought it was going to be their last game. Pokemon was meant to stop after gold and silver, but the games did so well that Pokemon became a solid franchise both in and outside the united states. That is why no game has had two regions since.
I was going to say "I HIGHLY doubt they thought Gold and Silver was going to be their last game" but since I like to do research before I argue, I found that you're right...which is weird, how could they possibly have thought two generations would be enough? Lol...I'm REALLY REALLY glad they didn't stop after Gold/Silver
Your a nice guy, thanks for being kind, they thought gold/silver would be the last games because they figured kids would get bored and sales wouldn't be as nearly as good as red and blue. They figured the game would get low sales, due to the fact that Pokemon green version sold so horribly in japan at first. The creators realized green version did so bad because the Pokemon were ugly, they remade red and green as red and blue and the games took off. They did not think gold/silver would do good, but it did fantastic; thank god.
