(2) 90+ 'Noble Victories' Scans!; BW4 Darkrai EX, Zoroark, Krookodile, Dark Patch [10/27]

My Wal-Mart is selling the theme decks today.
Elecetross and Leavanny rare non-holos.
They are holos in the set.

The shattered glass holos are pretty cool, wish they made all the holos like that.

Durant isn't hard to get, Druddigon isn't worth getting, and most people have enough Pokémon Communication, so I doubt that many people will buy them.

Durant's harder to obtain than you might think; plus, what's wrong with getting 3 Durant all ready for you? Either that or you resort to trading for them, and I doubt people will want to give Durant up that easily.

Even though past theme decks had cards like Juniper, Communication, Collector, etc, that didn't stop people from getting them.

But for $14? And Collector is a different story. Juniper and Pokémon Communication isn't worth it still.

Theme decks are $14? I thought they were like $8-$10 or something lol (yeah, comes to show that I don't buy theme decks.)

It's something like $12.99 plus tax, so yeah, you haven't bought one in ages. (And neither have I!)

Durant isn't going to be worth holding on to. Its destructive power is pretty low. If your opponent gets a single Reshiram or Zekrom, Durant Mill loses. I think Magmortar mill will be more played.

I feel like such a NOOB. :p I started TCG with BW1: Theme Decks Samurott (to match my VG starter) and Emboar. With EP I got Toxic Tricks and bought Power Play for my rival. So if I don't get a Themie this time, it'll be unprecedented! lol

Since I don't buy a lot of boosters or singles (like online), and the TCG pool up here in TINY (*cry*), getting a Themie is a quick and cheap way to get a pile of workable cards.

I'd prefer getting the Accelgor deck, as I'm guaranteed one of the Lilligants. The illustration for this set's Lilligant is so sweet.

...there always seems to be a superior theme deck when new sets come out.
The Escavalier deck seems to this set's superior deck, simply because of the 3 Durant.

Pokebeach,

Thank you so much for all your scans, spoilers, and Pokemon Organized Play News--you guys are awesome, and without people like you, this TCG would go nowhere!

Heh, so I'm the nonconformist for having my sights on the Accelgor deck. (Durant is Uncommon. Is it really that difficult to get them from booster packs?)

i got 3 durants in 8 packs at prerelease, so i didnt find them to difficult.

I got 1 Durant in 9 packs. Then again, in those 9 packs I got one of everything, pretty much (save Eviolite, Druddigon, Terrakion, and 1 or 2 other things that I got none of).

Everyone's different :p

I picked up a Theme deck today and found (If I am reading it correctly) that the fossil are not that bad. You can get them out just by having the Fossil and the Pokemon in your hand. Here is what it says.

"If you have a Restored Pokemon in your hand, you must first play the item card with the effect that allows you to play the Restored Pokemon."

Am I reading this right.

You're reading it incorrectly. Look at the effect of the Fossil trainer card.

"Look at the bottom 7 cards of your deck. You may choose a ________ you find there and put it onto your Bench. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck."

So you have to pull one out of the bottom 7 using that card's effect. If you don't find one...too bad. Better luck next time.
