News 20th Anniversary Set in September + Surfing Pikachu and M Slowbro-EX!

Is it true that not all cards will be available in english? If so which ones are excluded in the english version?

Probably not since international versions tend to troll their customers with bad pulls....as always japanese will get the better deal

MewTwo's last attack makes it look like a card that isnt good. As well as Charizard. That card needs to have energy flowing. Ninetales Break looks like a good card. Only put one fire energy on it, and you're good to go.

I wouldn't count on Exeggutor or Imakuni's Doduo appearing here. But, barring them pulling something to put in another product, I can't imagine anything else won't show up.
 
That Mewtwo actually blends EX font and base-set layout perfectly.

Only issue is how bad it is. Even M Heracross, Garchomp EX, etc were better than this. I think it was because we already got 2(more) overpowered Mewtwo's(i.e damage change mewtwo and Mewtwo Y)
 
I'm likng Ninetails break, 250 damage each turn (with burning energy) is pretty good, but since it takes 4 turns to set-up I'll probably just stick with MAlakazam+BKTGengar
 
I'm not liking the Lv.76 thing near Charizard's name. I don't think that's important enough (or at all, really) for it to be there on the top line. I didn't understand the DP cards (I think it was DP) that had levels either. Other than that, I'm super excited for this set. I've got everything pre-ordered already :D

Hmm. Unfortunately, I highly doubt it. The original japanese base set packs and jungle/fossil packs guaranteed holos while the WOTC packs had no guarantee. I suspect the pack configuration will be similar to the other XY sets

Glad I finished the japanese set, cause these just don't look very great..
 
These cards I found at my local card shop in the .10 bin. I asked the manager where she bought them from and she said she didn't know. I looked around for Evolutions packs but didn't see any so I didn't see where they could have been from. This is really interesting and they don't look like fakes to me. Check out these 5 cards and tell me what you think.

I just hope that we get all the secret rare full arts. I have already placed a pre-order on a display. I havent bought pokemon card for years and this set i just wanted to get for the nostalgia :D
 
FIRST

No way, this is such a nostalgic taste of childhood right here. I might actually want to complete the master set on this one. These reverse foil Energy are killing me here - Generations or Evolutions...which ones to play? Or should I stick with the ones from the EX era.

What a fitting way to wrap up the last set of XY and TCG set of the 20th anniversary year.
 
I'm so happy that they're not just using the XY holo pattern! This sets pattern looks quite nice. Now if only the templates weren't so bad...
