At least that one was somewhat believable since it was of much better quality and a live-action movie of LoZ would make more sense than Pokemon.

I can't agree more, I sware if this movie turns out to be real pokemon sales are going to tank!! Moms are going to think pokemon is all violent and like in the movie! ShinjiSan it's also like the Ben 10 live action movie. When will these movie directors realize that you can't take a cartoon and turn it into a live action movie!

It's highly unlikley. This movie can't be real. You'd think Nintendo could afford a better animation program. Let's not forget all of the banned gun eps in america...

ok, one the gun part doesn't bother me, it's just the animation and cast. Like psyburn said, the other three eps got off free. The movie is a disgrace. The animation sucks, and isn't ash supposed to be a kid? I know by now he's about twenty. ( OMG, what skin cream does he use!? XD) BUT! Assuming this is the Kanto series, ash would most definatley be a kid. A darn anoying one too. Anyway, if this is sinnoh, the might have ha time to think about it since sinnoh has gone on longer than any gen. I'm ready for something new.
Getting to the point, this movie can't be real, and if it is, it will be shown in japan or something, then either badly dubbed and stuck on a dvd, or rejected completley.

Don't forget about Dragonball Evolution. That trailer showed the signs of what I dreaded about a live action Pokémon movie.

Anyways, as I was trying to say on the topic I posted (Which I only posted because I thought this one was closed), some of the designs can definately be better. You see, whenever two different design styles meet (Cartoony/Animeish and photorealism for this case), one must change drastically to suit the other's standards. Seeing the Pokemon as they are in the games in almost the same way in the movie is just a bad example of that, as the two design styles are very different from eachother. As seen with the Transformers Live Action films, one would require partial to extensive redesigning off characters to suit realistic standards. The autobots and decepticons in those films look far more able to blend in with reality than past character designs. For any potential Pokemon film, this is no different. The designs I'm seeing in the trailer and the recently revealed poster ( http://www.worldcorrespondents.com/live-action-pokemon-apocalypse-movie-trailer/8811526 ), as I mentioned above, look pathetic for realism. If the developers actually got creative on the other hand, they would've gotten somewhere. Take Charizard for instance:

All they had to do was think of what a realistic dragon would look like and mix some elements of Charizard into it. Simple, right? Some Pokemon don't have it that easily, yet that doesn't stop Squirtle and Pikachu from getting creative:

Now as for Mewtwo, I cannot show you any examples on this site. It's status as a clone with genetic modifications makes all possible redesigns to suit realistic standards depict it as something you'd see in a horror film, and as such I am not posting any Mewtwo pics here for everyone's sanity. You might not even like the designs anyways.

Things i hate about the movie:
Ash
Ash's face
Pikachu
Pikachu's huge head.
How every pokemon has fur on it, including weezing
How bad the pokemon look
How bad Pikachu looks (tiny body huge head wtf?)
How the head of Rocket Industries (WTF) is blad and looks nothing like giovanni
How all of the pokemon look like Hobos
How Ash sounds really stupid when he says, "I want to be the best, like no one ever was."
How Ash looks nothing like the real one (even though he is older there should be some resemblance)
Pikachu again

What we can't discuss the video just because it was fan made? Its not REALLY a fake imo. Its just something some people were going to do in the "College Humor-esque" way.

It was a trailer that had potential to be turned into a short fan made movie, but the guy who did all of the CGI and etc. said he doesn't have any plans to keep going with it. It was never Hollywood bound though. Still I thought it was interesting. I'd watch it for giggles.

Man, the Pikachu in that poster sucks. It's like they tried to make it look scary and cute at the same time and failed to do either. Squirtle looks like some dude in a badly blue painted TMNT suit.

My boyfriend showed me a link to this today. He doesn't go to this site and I hadn't discussed it with him. He was all like "Ha, look at this thing! :p" and I simply said "I've seen it already on PokéBeach," and then he went "Oh... :(" We both agreed it could have been a cool idea if the Pokémon didn't look like jokes and the actors fit the parts better, but since it's fan-made you can't expect much.
