(3) More CoL Scans, B/W Preorder Bonus, Dub Titles [1/29]

It seems that most of the reprint artworks are a continuation of the previous artworks (Meganium it's obvious)
And now that I look back on the old artworks, the Flareon looks like the fire stone is floating away and it starts chasing it after being surprised by its appearance... The Espeon looks like it is laying down at the end of a long day patrolling and protecting the town.
The Slowking is by the same artist, despite the art style being slightly different, and it's also chasing a floating object. This time, it's a Kings's Rock. The Jolteon also seems to be chasing a Thunderstone. The Weezing looks like it was out... breathing out poison all night (?) and now the sun is coming up.

It's not with ALL artworks though, the Eevee is by a different artist. it also seems to be in a different location, although it might still be Goldenrod City, but at night (it might be in Celadon City this time, though.)


@Rhincodon Typus: Lost World is so lame it doesn't deserve a hi-res scan :p
 
While I agree, the issue here is that most likely means it was ripped off of another website, as most of WPM's scans come off of a hi-res scanner.
 
Hey WPM, have you given credit to whomever you got that Lost World scan from? You know, cuz when you zoom in the quality is way lower than the rest of the scans....

I think it goes without saying that Lost World and Pachirisu need better quality scans on them.
I think it also goes without saying that some of these reprints actually have pretty good pictures - Feraligatr definitely being the biggie.
 
Reprints. Annoying, yes. Worth it (at least from my perspective)? HELL YES! I absolutely LOVE the new Jolteon and Flareon art (even if they're unplayable)! Espeon's art kinda disappoints me, though. I do look forward to the other three; Vaporeon, Umbreon, and Leafeon. Vulpix's art is just awesome, and I can't wait to see the new Ninetales' art. For a reprint set, I couldn't ask for reprints of anything else. I just love Eeveelutions and the Ninetales line. Lack of true Primes and LEGENDS will make this set feel a little empty, but then again, that's the case for any filler set.

PS - WE NEED A NEW GLACEON PLEASE! /emotionaloutburst
