Ask a Play! Pokémon Question

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

BebesSearch also has a lot of glitches :p

If your PTO hasn't uploaded the file from the tournament, your ranking won't be updated. Also verify that you have opted in to participate in ratings.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I have a question:

so just last weekend I qualified for nats (I have 11 play! points and 10 campionship points) so I was wonder how do I get an invite (is there any special form I have to fill out? does it come in the mail? do they just look it up online? or did I somehow whiff on my chances of getting one?) as you can probably tell this is my first tourney season xP

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

There is no invite to Nats. I don't know how they check who has enough Play! Points, but there is nothing in the mail.

When creating a new League under an account which already has one, does it show a "Pending" during the approval process of your League? How long does this process usually take?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

When I got assigned League Leader status, I was first sent an email that I had to respond to. Keep in mind this was on the old website so I don't know if that changed or not.

Not sure if this is the right place or not (please move if it isn't) are the EX Promo's playable for states?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

yes they are :) all of the EX tin promo's are playable as far as I know (why wouldn't they be?) the tins were relesed on March 1st so you should be fine ;o

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

That could go (and has been answered) here: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-list-of-legal-cards-and-sets-in-the-modified-format

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

How many championship points does it take to get into Nats?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

None. 10 Play Points are required though (Play points are like participation points), I will look for a link.

Found it: http://www.pokemon.com/us/play-pokemon/play-pokemon-tournaments/

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

@Glaceon-It says you earn by participating and I have competed in at least 3 tournaments and I go to league but it says I don't have any, I am confused.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

which kind of tournaments? States, Cities, BR's etc.? because if so then you should be getting points (Unless there like a local unofficial tourney in card shops I don't think they count :/) also you have to be at a league for 1 season (or 5 weeks) for you to get points :/

Could be a glitch.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

^ Nevermind I figured it out, I don't have my address in so I am not opted into rankings. Fixing it as we speak.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

question, how much travel award money does 1st place earn at Regionals? (they didn't specify how much and they took away travel awards for 2-4 place :( )

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

http://www.pokemon.com/us/play-pokemon/championship-series/travel-awards

It doesn't specify how much so it's impossible to say a number. You win enough for a "economy-class round-trip air ticket from the major gateway airport closest to prize winner's city of residence (as stated on Winner Information Form) to the destination specified in the event's prize listing". Only one person if you're 18 and older.

dmaster out.

I also think they pay for your gas if you're close enough to drive there. For some people, it would be faster/cheaper to drive than to fly.
