Ask a Play! Pokémon Question

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

If you obtain enough CP to get an invite to worlds, do they paid for the Flight or anything like that? Or is it just the invite and nothing else (because I'm tight on money for something like Hawaii right now and it would be kinda disappointing if I got an invite but no money to pay for the trip)

thanks in advance ^^

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Unless you earn a trip at Nats, you have to pay for your own trip. The invite just gets you into the event w/o having to go through the Grinder.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

ah okay, thanks :)

also I don't know if this belongs here, but I have 1 more question. Do they sell booster boxes at the prerelease (I'm thinking about going to the Dragons Exalted Prerelease which would be my first one, but I want to get a box too)

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I don't recall this from back when I played or maybe I just forgot but...

What is a randomizer?

No.

Something that is used for coin flips. You can use a Pokemon Coin or a translucent dice that has rounded corners.

Thanks, one more.

What are legal sleeves to use in POP?

What's wrong with pointed corners?

I'm pretty sure any solid colored sleeves that aren't too reflective or any Pokemon related multicolored sleeves. Correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Correct, but the Pokemon sleeves have the following stipulation: it must also have a solid border.

I'm pretty sure the reason they don't allow pointed corners is because the dice can roll as well with them, so it's easier to manipulate the way the dice lands....

I'm not 100% sure but I think that's why (I got in trouble for using pointed dice at a cities awhile back)

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

My BRs start in September. Hopefully that helps some.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Mine are 9/8, 9/9, 9/15, and 9/16. Your PTO may have different dates though.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Guess I'm playing Garchomp for BRs :/. Thanks for the dates though.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I'm playing rayeels or garchomp. Probably garchomp for most of my battle roads.
Question: When is rotaton again?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

September 1st to be exact, iirc.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

question: I know that the New Season Starts on July 9th, which means all Seniors born in 1997 will be masters, I also read that for worlds, all Seniors who are supposed to be masters will remain Seniors for that tournament. Does this mean that at the Dragons Exalted Prerelease will Seniors born in 1997 be Seniors? Or Masters? (I'm pretty sure the PR's are before worlds...)

Yeah this would be my first PR actually :p Thanks in advance though!
