Ask a Play! Pokémon Question

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I'm not 100% positive about it, but I think that you'll still be a senior. The rotation happens on Sept. 1 so I think the age rotation will happen then too.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

okay thanks! That was confusing me because as far as I know the age rotation happens the same time as the beginning of the new season...

thanks again! :D

On September 1st, this will happen:

Birth year 1997 or earlier = Master
Birth year 1998-2001 = Senior
Birth year 2002 or later = Junior

And yeah, it's effective September 1st - not a day earlier.

Question: If you quit Nationals after the final swiss rounds, and if you made it to single elimination, will you automatically get 16th place?

No. You'll be listed as "Did Not Finish" and you won't be listed anywhere in the topcut.

OR

You'll be put in top-cut and automatically receive a loss for that round, then your standing will be recalculated appropriately. (For example, if Nats was top-128 cut, and I think it was in the US, you would end up somewhere between 65th and 128th, most likely on the low end since you didn't show up to your match.)

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Players that have received one or more losses from tardiness are automatically lower than players who are on time so you'd be at the very bottom.

Clarifying that:
Those who are late to any of their matches will place at the bottom of those who had the same ratio of wins-losses. For example, if someone goes 7-2, they'd be put at the bottom of 7-2.

But in a top-cut situation, if that player doesn't show up at all, they get a game loss and get bumped to the bottom of those with the same ratio.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

If I am born on August 4, 1999, how many more years I am a Senior for?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

Until the 2013-14 season is over.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I've submitted my application for a league about 6 weeks ago, and still haven't heard back. About how long should it take?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

It should be soon. Around the time you submitted it, I'm sure TPCi was putting the finishing touches on Nats.

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I believe on the front page it said our fall set is coming on Nov. 7 2012, weather or not that set will be freeze bolt/cold flare is up to TCPI (I think that it will be though....)

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

I apologize if this question has been asked in this thread already, but how do I find leagues in my area? I'm guessing it's somewhere on the Pokemon website but I'm not entirely sure :D.

Thanks!

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

quick question, do you get anything for winning a PR? (I know you get 2 packs for playing automatically, but does the winner actually win something? :p )

thanks in advance!

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

oh okay, thanks! I'll still aim to win for bragging rights though ;)

how about P!P do you get any of those for going?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

My Play! Points are very much incorrect- I should have one point from leagues and i have 11. Since i would still have enough points to compete in the LCQ were the 10 extra points deducted, is this an issue? If it is, how would i correct it?

RE: Ask a simple Play! Pokemon question here!

You get 1 Play Point for each season of league you go to that gets reported. If you still feel the amount is wrong, you can ask about it on the support portal of pokemon.com.
