RE: D.ick Clark dies at 82

He looks like he's 55. Dick Clark, the eternal young guy, finally bites the dust? Wow, now I'm really sad.
I heard about it only an hour or so ago, and it's really a tragic thing to hear, especially considering everyone loves the guy.

A few moments spent in silence for the recently departed.

RE: D.ick Clark dies at 82

I knew he was old and not in the best of health, but wow. That's really sad. I guess the world really will end in 2012 if we can't welcome in the new year properly. At least he made it to a decent age and had a nice life.

RE: D.ick Clark dies at 82

This is sad... I'm going to miss watching him every year on New Years. (I've been watching ever since I was 7 or 8)

RE: D.ick Clark dies at 82

Darn, I thought he was immortal! :p Seriously, thats so sad... it wont be the same without him... :/

@Cinesra: HAH thats exactly what people say at my work since he died

Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

Source
Eduard Khil, known on the internet as Mr. Trololo, has died last night. He had suffered a stroke and was in a coma since early April. Russian officials have not released the true cause of death, though doctors reported he had severe damage to the brain.

In 2010, he gained internet stardom, due to a Youtube user uploading one of his songs, the aptly named “I’m so Glad I’m Finally Coming Back Home.” From there on, it proceeded to gain over 12 million views on Youtube. Most recently, a version of it was on Fox's "Family Guy."

Rest in Peace, Eduard. You will be missed. :'(

Also, if this is in the wrong place/ doesn't have any discussion merit, feel free to move/lock it.

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

My decision for whether or not to actually keep singing that song in real life is now going to be decidedly mixed.
At least he lived a full life. That's something to be thankful for.

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

such a great man. Even though i never knew him. I actually enjoy Trololo though.

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

._.

My life feels incomplete now. I can't have trololo'ing lessons with him on Skype like some people on Youtube. This...I don't really know what to say....

REST IN PEACE. YOUR MUSIC ROCKS. LOVE, NIGEL.

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

Your face will always be missed.

R.I.P

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

Aww man. I remember listening to this guy when it was first uploaded. :/ A man we will miss indeed.

RE: Rest in Peace Eduard Khil, the Internet will Miss You.

I wish I had known more about this guy. ._. Rest in peace, you will be dearly missed....

He was a legendary that will truly be missed. RIP.

RE: Andy Griffith dead at 86

I watched the show with my dad and brother when I was little. RIP Andy. =)

RE: Andy Griffith dead at 86

Yeah I remember watching him in the Andy Griffith Show and he was pretty good
in Matlock as well. A few years ago Don Knotts (Barney Fife) kicked the bucket, and it turns out Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) faked his own death recently.

I remember how Gomer Pyle would always go "Shazaam!" it was arguably the funniest homage to Captain Marvel of DC Comics I've ever heard. What I find interesting is that Andy Griffith was born on the same day and year as Marilyn Monroe.

RE: Andy Griffith dead at 86

Yeah that sucks because he was a very good actor both on screen and off screen. The Andy Griffith Show was pretty much watch actually got him onto TV big time. It ran from 1960-1968 and then Matlock ran from 1986-1995. He was unique because he had 2 long time running shows been a singer from time to time and in movies and on Broadway too.:)

RE: Andy Griffith dead at 86

Incase anyone else wants to know, I am happy to learn that:
"Andy was a person of incredibly strong Christian faith and was prepared for the day he would be called Home to his Lord."
(Quote by Andy's wife)
