Debate! Wii vs. PS3 vs. 360

Stick to nintendo systems because they have better games and their systems have the fewest problems as long as you buy from retail stores and don't buy from second hand stores. (used) because you don't know who had it and what they did to it. They usually sell to 2nd hand stores just to get money after they wreck it and they are hoping the next person who buys it gets screwed over and then you gets sucked in to because used places will charge you more too.
The only system I'm looking forward to is the Wii because of the games. Most good PS or Xbox games aren't exclusive. In my opinion, nothing can beat a system that owns the rights to Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Kirby, and Fire Emblem. And as far as fighting games go, DoA? Please. Tekken? I think not! They're all enjoyable, sure, but none of them can stand up to Smash Bros.
Well, that's not quite true. Sony does own big hits like the Final Fantasy series and Kingdom Hearts series, not to mention they've got Burnout, Grand Theft Auto, Dance Dance Revolution (sort of), and a couple others as well. The PS2 is an excellent system, but the PS3 is making developers leave and flocking to the Wii, which would hint that the good games are coming over to Nintendo. So honestly, for a DVD player I'd go with a PS2 over either of them...
But if you HAD to pick one of those two, I'd go with the 360. Either way, that's going to be one damn expensive DVD player...
Whoa. Have you seen the trailers for FFXIII? Supposedly that's taken from an actual battle inside the game. Hawt. Don't go bashing Sony's lineup either, especially with the sports games comments. One of the Wii's unexpected hits at the E3 was Wii Sports, simply because the controller meshes so well with it. That's one of the games I'm getting at launch because my entire family can play it easily.
I think what it all comes down to is the cost for personal entertainment. Some people need snazzy graphics and expensive stuff to be entertained, while others see the innovation and creativity of something. There's money, and then there's entertainment. How far will you go? I can't afford a PS3 with all my bills to pay, let alone a parent with kids who DEMAND a new system. Parents will see the price tag and most likely turn towards Nintendo. They won't see the worth of an $80 game like kids will. It's a brilliant strategy: Look behind to get ahead.

Well, I"m going to keep myself imparcial until the consoles are released. See, there"s still alot of time until Sony and Nintendo release PS3 and Wii, respectively. Sony got Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid and alot of things, Nintendo got Zelda, Mario, and alot of other things, Microsoft got Halo, and alot more, we can"t negate that. But if Sony and Microsoft REALLY want to get things straight, they CAN do that.

Indeed. Square pledges a lot of support to Sony, but not Sony only.
And what about Metal Gear Solid? The problem is that every1 was expecting a GREAT PS3 due to the PS2. Now, look at the Xbox. Not every1's so worried about it being crap, because the Xbox wasn't a great seller. Now, what if in the next gen, Nintendo makes a crappy console and Microsoft makes a great one? That'll be pretty much the same thing that is happening this gen.

The 360 is simply a beefed up Xbox. It has Halo 3 which stands out, but there isnt anything else exclusive which comes to mind that has made any impact at all. The 360 sold extremely poorly in Japan...

Seriously, I'd really like if the PS3 supporters would come up with something new. Then again, they have the same mindset as Sony. Oh, and just for kicks, I've done a little skit:

P.S. PS3 has the highest number of good games to support the price. Then I can sell my PS2 and still keep all my PS2 and PS1 games and only have one console to hook up in my room, cause id need one of those little boxes that keep like 8 plugs and aren't those expensive?
