Decks after the new format

What does RR-On mean?

Will Gengar SF get rotated out?

How will Spiritomb still be a good starter if PT may get rotated?

I'm still new to all this.

RR-on means only sets after Rising Rivals will be legal to play in the Modified Format.

dmaster out.

Assuming it's RR-on I think Kingdra will be tier 1, if not BDIF, and Donphan might be seen too. Also Jumpluff. Also Charizard.
Because of all that nonsense, I'll probably use Shiftry.

Already Traded for Donphan/Kingdra prime lol :D
Kingphan looks like fun :p have already started putting it togther and started play testing!

I might start making RR-on lists. Even if it is dumb to assume they're going to cut at all.

Also, 1700th post!

I don't think that KingPhan will be good enough w/ the huge amount of fire-type decks being in the format (Emboar/Magnezone, Emboar/Charizard G, Emboar/Reshiram). Donphan on it's own IMO will be one of the better, if not the best deck in the format (it usually will become one of the best decks if every single deck you come up with is shot down because Donphan beats it).

VileMagus will try to do what VileGar is doing now, but with the low HP and the x2 weakness to dark, it will come short. Gothitelle will end up taking the trainer-locking role sooner or later.

LostGar will probably make a strong push for a tier one deck, but it will need a way to take prizes still, something that it will struggle with.

In areas with little-no Donphan, dark type decks will rule. Disruption builds will be rampent in formats with supporter-based draw, but they will need to find a source of damage output.

Just my 2 cents here...

Emboar will be a big player because it can pair with a multitude of different card. This will cause an increase in play for fire decks.

I agree with Dark types becoming a great play. They're only worry will be Donphan really, so like you said in those areas with little Donphan, they'll be a great play.
