*bounces while chewing pearl thoughtfully*
What a predicament! I haven't been so bewildered since my sixth birthday when I had to choose between eating a vanilla cupcake with strawberry filling or strawberry cupcake with vanilla filling and I wasn't allowed to choose both, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY and then Mommy Spoink got mad at me when I stole all the cupcakes and bounced away and then I had to run away from home and join a group of wandering hobo pokemon solving mysteries from town to town, and found myself waking up one day in these woods *sob*
Actually I've been pretty bewildered all my life come to think of it.
I blame the pearl... it takes so much energy balancing this thing on one's head I do believe it's stunted my development in other areas. That's probably why I don't have legs, really.
One thing I AM certain of, besides the fact that I am adorable and that pearls are the best, is that once we have retrieved our comrades from the hole it should be immediately filled with earth to prevent it from entrapping any more unfortunates.
Unless the hole turns out to be the only exit in which case ignore me.
Can the pokemon in the Hole of Despair try tunneling a way out instead of climbing back to the original *squeak* entrance? I think that this is the preferable option- after all you've dug yourselves deep enough to get stuck, so maybe you can dig yourselves a new exit?
@Keeper of Night I would like to know if I am small enough to fit in the hole, and if I can bounce high enough to get out if I fall in.
I think the pokemon in the hole should try to tunnel their way out, but if anyone needs to use my beautiful bouncy tail as a ladder I'd like first to make sure I won't also get stuck in there if something goes wrong. And I can't really think of anything else to do right now (though we should investigate the compass more).
