They're two evenly matched teams. They both played hard-nosed, smash mouth soccer. A 0-0 tie is good when you face upmost a mirror image of your team.

Ghana is up first. The the US/Ghana winner would play Uruguay/South Korea. US would not want to play Uruguay as they are harder to beat than South Korea. The US would want to play the easier team in South Korea.

Isn't Chile the winner of Group H? What are they doing play Brazil, the winner of Group G? (Is Brazil the winner of Group G?)

Great goal by Villa but what is the goalkeeper doing so far out when Chile had a defender with Torres? Anyways, Spain vs Portugal is one to watch but first, I cannot wait for Germany vs England tomorrow. :)

Boring matches today. Tomorrow England v Germany, I can predict the score right now. 5-1 England :p

No, but really I'm confident in England.

Spain v Portugal should be interesting, but Portugal do lack momentum with only one top-class player (Ronaldo).

YEah but they can make wonders i mean Switzerland beat Spain anyways i cannot wait for tomorrowas matches and i think england does it they wii beat Germany they have top-class players

Germany v England is going to be an awesome match, no matter who wins.

I would like to see U.S pull an Algeria-like comeback, and there's still a lot of time left to mount one.

And US lost. I had a feeling we would lose, just not this early! This loss darkens the shine from Landon Donovan's goal against Algeria. The momentum was just ripped from underneath us.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda, but in the end, we lost. Simple as that.
