I'm actually happy Ghana won. For one, that's Africa's ONLY sport and two, the World Cup is even being held there. The US didn't nearly deserve it as much as them and besides, we have sporting events here that are bigger to us than the World cup anyway :F

Both were evenly matched teams. Germany wanted it more and it showed.

IMO England did a poor job in this game. They didn't show their best and the failed at the end. Though in the second half they did a lot better than the first half. The referees are blind. England's second goal was a real goal it had passed the goal line but the blind referee people couldn't actually see that. England's speed and defense was horrible. England had no one to defend when Germany was going to make a goal.
Sadly the score was: 4-1

England's back four was a shambles today. Caught completely cold for the first two goals and their lack of pace was obvious when Germany scored the third and fourth goal. And Lampard's goal should have stood but apparently, the linesman was blind and thanks to some particular fellow from FIFA, there is no video technology around! What a joke! Anyway, well played to the Germans. They took advantage of England's weaknesses and fully exploited them. Hope to see them playing against Argentina in the quarter final.

I believe the officials viewed the ball as bouncing off the crossbar, bouncing off the ground in front of the net and bouncing away.

I know, England was creamed. That goal should have counted and it was well over a foot into the goal.
Its funny how the best player on the team was the goal keeper who let 4 goals in.

England were dominated, but that no-goal that should have been would have completely changed the game. Going into half-time at 2-2, England would have took a different approach towards the match. Hopefully Fifa do something about goal-line technology, not that it was needed. Everyone saw that it was a goal, except for the officials and they were the only ones who counted.
Argentina played brilliant, finally we see a good goal (Tevez). I'm going to be rooting for Argentina to win I guess.

Argentina has been a favorite since the start, right up there with Brazil and Spain. Shame 2 of those teams have to lose.

"Cheated" out? A bit Biased there Rick. Sure it should of been 4-2 (Horrible call) but Germany won convincingly. I really wanna see an Argentina ~ Brazil final.
