USA got a goal in the last minute. They were versing Algeria. I've got to say that Algeria was a nice team and they were playing hard against the US.

ENG also advances...
guess it was as expected but not as easy as i thought it would be for those two teams.
good efforts by slovenia and algeria.

I've got to say that Algeria wasn't a bad team at all. They gave USA a hard time and they wouldn't let them score. Though at the end USA actually made a goal. Also I didn't watch the England match so I really don't know what happened except that England advances and USA wins the group.

Japan is playing beautifully today, even if their goals are all on penalty kicks. Ganbatte, Nihon!

France deserves to go >_>; Italy... eh, give somebody else a chance at the Cup. And we go against Ghana, who hasn't been playing as good as they could of, so I'm thinking that will be a fast game. But who knows?

Oh... Paraguay might be tough. But you can pull through, Japan! If we can defeat Ghana you can defeat Paraguay.

Wow, for the first time in my life the US advances. With Ghana, and Germany as our path to T4, we might actually get some respect if we can pull this off. Still going for Brazil though :p

Today Portugal/Brazil both advanced.
Ivory coast won 3-0 but couldn't overcome a 7 goal deficit(scoring 3 is remarkable in WC play so props for them for not giving in :)

Watched the Brazil vs. Portugal match. Not many things happened though both teams got really close of scoring, though it ended up going either to the side of the goal or someone blocking it. Both teams had scored 0 and it was a tie.

The US has a very favorable path to turn some heads. If we can get to the Final 4, who knows how much soccer will rise in the eyes of the American people?

Look out Ghana, the Americans are coming through.

That was the most horrific match I have ever watched. I expected better from them :(
