RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

im dissapointed in tsutaja's final evo. its one of the worst starters yet. the fifth gen is lacking in good water types. i for one love the water starter now(funny, serplant was my favorite and wotter was my least favorite, looks how things change), but there seems to be few good water types except for the new octopus and the turtle(turtle beats the octopus by a long shot imo) and im very dissapointed that the fire bug has great stats, but gets owned by SR and all other rock moves. other than this i love the fifth gen and already have both of my teams picked out for black and white.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

What are your teams then?
I remember when everyone loved smugleaf and destroyed woobie. No one even thought about pokabu. Now everyone wants samurtide and hates snakebait.
Doryuzu will probably be on my team then. Already have a good dark type and grd/stl is nice.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

Why is it that everyone hates Jaroda? I pointed out that he does suck terms of Attack, but has potential for disruption, as for Enbuoo, I love the guy, but 65 in Defenses and Speed will not cut it in OU unless he gets some majorly good attacks, and even then. Lastly the Water starter is the most well rounded, but again lower speed and Defenses likely will end up not seeing OU, but may see UU.

Note: I messed up on Nuttre saying he was Bug/Grass when he is indeed Grass/Steel.

EDIT: I have updated the first post with better thoughts on the starters.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

i dont think anyone hates jaroda, its just that his stats are horrible.. -_-

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

What zero said. Besides it can only disupt so much. Leech seed, toxic and thats it. Tons of grass pokemon can do it better and use giga drain well. Taunt would destroy it, since its not the fastest pokemon either.
Samurtide still has a chance. Its decent all around, and can potentially sweep with sword dance->aquajet. Plus it has great power in special moves like surf.
Boaruption has a good chance too. Nitro charge increases speed and will power up with blaze and stab. Defenses dont matter to this guy, though its higher then past fire starters. Both of them should atleast be UU and snakebait can go cry in NU.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

I actually think Emboar or Daikenki will make it to OU, I mean their stats are pretty good
Also Lol at Jadora crying in NU

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

lol yeah poor jadora , i can see it crying in NU :p ... and i hope both Emboar and daikenki make it to OU
but im sure daikenki can with swords dance plus AQua jet, thats EPIC! :) And Emboar with nitro charge and blaze plus
123 attack, THAts VERY epic! :D

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

Let's not forget about Head Smash and Hammer Arm. Emboar is gonna be one tough Pokemon.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

Jaroda...? i was really hoping for it to be a strong pokemon, but its defences and speed have no use. HE may be good as a pokemon who can withstand most battles (which will be always because his attack stats suck).

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

yeah head smash and hammer arm thats epic. i think it has a new move called heat stamp or something like that!.

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

heat stamp is basically heart stamp only on fire. :p

RE: Fifth gen stat evaluation (Legendaries evaluations added)

I'm going to start updating pokemon based on both Dream World Abilities, and known attacks.

BTW: Is Serebii the only one with the attacks up, if not please post a link to a better source.

EDIT: The first portion is done. Jaroda through Doryuzuu and Erufuun now have their Dream World abilities and moves noted for the most part.

Yes we can talk about dw abilities!
Ninetales with drought!
Lanturn with waterabsorb!
Politoed with drizzle!
Alakazam with magicguard!
But thats old pokemon, i do like the abilites the new pokemon get. Which pokemon is next on the last?

^dont forget "chandelock"(i should trademark that name, its so genius)
and who da thought that serplant would actually be somewhat useful? if you give him max EVs in SPA and combine leaf storm with his dream world ability,he actually wont be that bad, so he manages to save himself from the bottomless pit that is NU, and slithers up to UU
and reckless emboar (almost spelled it "emoboar") is good, too. but like you said not as good as speed boost blaziken, or iron fist infernape:fire punch, thunder punch, mach punch, and closecombat+ max attack and speed IVs=total pwnage/complete win
and encourage feraligatOr, none of the good attacking moves for him have bonus effects(aqua tail/waterfall) and unless you are counting on the flinch/freeze possibility for ice fang, feraligatOr gets a free boost

Yes chandelock is a good name. Dont have a hissy fit about me saying your name like nintendo. Really its free advertisement...
Anyways. Sazando gets surf and chargebeam! Now it can destroy nearly everything.
Darkpulse
Dragonpulse
Flamethrower
Surf/chargebeam/setup move
Thats mine. Stab that are really useful, flamethrower for type coverage and powering up chandelera(unless i decide to use incenerate). Filler to destroy now, or later.
252 in sp attack and speed, 4 in hp.
Think i might be using lamperay. Levitate makes it like spiritomb and it has amazing attack. The zebra only beats it in speed.
Too bad zekrom cant use earthquake. But it has the stats to use tons of others. Reshiram with calm mind/fire move/dragonpulse and either psychic or substitute(if it gets it).

You seem to forget Abargoo(the fossil turtle) has the Solid Rock ability which halves the damage from super-effective attacks

Keep forgettin about the fossils even though they are epic.
The bird will go straight up to aerodactyl. All it is is higher speed over attack.
Solid rock on a turtle is great. Glad its wtr/rck now that the weakness is gone.
Which one is better? Lamperay has levitate, better stats except speed and a better moveset. Zbolt is physical and thats about it.
Politoed/vaporeon/kyogre is perfect win. Sturdy water that wont die in the infinite rain.

info for Abagoora

As the x4 becomes a x2 and x2 becomes a x1 i am assuming from how the ability works

And ALSO Solid Rock is its regular ability besides sturdy

Also it has the move
Shell Break Though i am still baffled at how this ability works

Shell break decreases user's DEF and Sp. DEf
While sharply raising ATK , DEF, and SPD

The reason it baffles me its That is say it decreases DEF than the DEF sharply raises. Which i am assuming cancels out?
