Fights in school.

If you don't get the point of this thread, why bash the people that just state they don't agree with violence? And we generally have a very good reason for 'bashing' those that like violence. If you are the type that like violence, it's okay, just don't expect any sympathy from us peaceful types. >_>

@aggiegwyn - Hmm... interesting point of view. Honestly, if someone punched me, I would ignore it. I could care less if I get a bruise. Geez, if I got punched 10 times, I would stare at him until he got bored.

WOW you either have a high pain threshold or the guys punches are weak. You can't take 10 punches and not do anything...

Lol, agreed!

Don't spam.

dmaster out.

Well it's kinda funny, because I am 2 years younger tan them, yet like 10x smarter, so I just bombard them with confusing riddles and then he's like 'wut?' and then me and my friends laugh him away.

Still... getting 10 punches... that's impossible (unless you're Metal Mario ;D). But really, if someone punched me, he will definitely get one or more back.

Not really.
Actually, not impossible at all.
It's just a matter of temper. If you get punched, it hurts, but you punch back. That means it didn't hurt you that much, if you can punch back, right?
Getting punched hardly hurts at all, just keep the 6 inches between your ears cool.

Hmm not very convincing. Also you are showing yourself to be pathetic as you won't do anything about it. You are his punching bag for God sake...

If I was punched, I would do what adults tell you to and get as far away from the puncher as possible. Then I would report him to authorities. That's the proper thing to do. Of course, if I was under extreme threat I would fight back, assuming it would be the only option.

42_Chocolate is speaking the absolute truth. Honestly, violence in school or pretty much anywhere should be avoided in all costs. However, I describe "self-defense" as a completely different idea. It is perfectly fine to defend yourself in the given situation if you are struck at with someone's fist. Of course, if you can avoid fighting by not preventing a fight in the first place, do exactly so. Also, you don't have to fight back. Although it may seem immature, you can flee. If you are fast enough to completely veil yourself from any violence, you shouldn't worry about being "cool" or "brave". It's more important if you come out untouched, physically and mentally. If you have a mindset for fighting and believe you can defeat anyone, you likely won't. :]

If he finds it entertaining to punch me then get stared down by a bunch of kids younger than him, by all means I couldn't care less.

Half the time the "authorities" won't even do anything about it. Perhaps a little reprimand, but that doesn't stop them from doing it again. There's a time when enough is enough and you've got to show them you won't take it.

very true.

most of you guys will find this out the hard way.

^ Thats what Im saying. You can't always hide behind the authorities. You gotta stick up for yourself or you are gona get stepped on for the rest of your life.

Sounds like something only the mind of a crippled would say. Authorities suck. Doesn't mean you can't get out of harms way. Just play it smart. Worked for me and can work for you. Besides, there are other ways to get back at bullies.

I will fight back if they actually think they want to fight me but I keep aquantices with the fighters and they won't fight me, now on the punching hurts thing, I've had guys punch me before because they were just playing around but it really doesn't hurt that bad.

I personally never run into fights in school anymore, mainly cause I'm well known and aren't the kind of guy you'd want to pick on since I know some of the toughest guys in the school.

or maybe we're not just ppl who are just going to run away from everything in life.

Didn't mean to sound like a weakling (even though I am), but whatever. Do you honestly think that by authorities I mean teachers and stuff? No, I meant that if I was under enough threat that I would go to the police about it.

CC: I agree, but saying 'when enough is enough' doesn't justify fighting back if someone punches you once.

Suppose I wasn't thinking when I made that post. I didn't really mean punched, just threatened badly.
