Writing Fire Emblem: Awakening: PokéBeach Edition! All finished! Stay tuned for the next one...

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

The reason why I haven't really been posting is because I'm pretty happy with the team rn, so there aren't any reclasses I really want to happen.

May as well second the Lost Bloodlines vote for a DLC chapter. I really enjoyed Hotspring Scramble, but Lost Bloodlines sounds all serious. I think that for now, finishing the game should be our priority besides the Lost Bloodlines thing, but maybe afterwards you could play most, if not all of the remaining DLC levels? Just putting 3 in a chapter since they don't seem very long. Or will this project end when you beat the main story?

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

I'm not planning on continuing playing after I've beaten the main storyline; once the final chapter is completed, that's it. I'll happily do as many DLC chapters and stuff as people vote for (they're fun, after all :p), but they'll all have to be before the last chapter. It's a good place to end things and I can't keep doing this forever!

Lost Bloodlines is part of the "Einherjar" series of DLC, which sound kind of serious until you realize that the entire basis of these levels is that you're helping a crazy old man recollect a bunch of trading cards with ghosts inside of them. Trust me, a lot of that text doesn't even need my help to sound ridiculous. :p Those card-ghost-things are called Einherjar and they effectively give you another potential teammate that's based off of a character from a previous FE game, along with some other bonus. There won't be a whole lot of plot to those levels, but they can potentially give us some cool things. LB2 gives us access to an item that allows us to reclass someone into a really sweet class, the Dread Fighter, a male only class that can use magic, swords, and axes and also has access to some sweet skills.

I'd be happy to give quick rundowns of the other available DLC levels if you or anyone else is interested in hearing about them. :3

We'll also get access to 5 other optional side-stories right before the last chapter if people want me to play those. One in particular I kind of object to the story of (and if you've played this game you probably know the one I'm talking about *cough*). I was actually planning on bringing those up after the next chapter to give people a few days to vote if they'd like to see them, but I guess people can give their opinions now, too.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

I hadn't kept up with the playthrough for the past few chapters or so, but I'm glad to see that it's still coming along so well! I'll second the nomination for switching myself to a Swordmaster, because it can't hurt at this point.

Also, I think you should complete the Lost Bloodlines DLC, preferably right before the final chapter. And then play it enough times to convert every male characters to a Dread Fighter.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

Welp, looks like we'll be doing LB2 for sure; I'll wait until a non-cliffhanger chapter to play it, though. Which means not next chapter but probably after next chapter.

Also, here's a quick rundown on the others that I have for anyone interested:

Conversation DLCs:
Harvest Scramble: Takes place during a festival and has a bunch of convos between same-sex first-generation (which means everyone but IE and SAE)
Summer Scramble: Like the Hot Springs, but this time we're on the beach! More first-gen convos and also special bathing suit images for some of our characters (Drohn, TT, and Palutena).
Hot-Spring Scramble: Done!

Plot DLCs:
The Future Past 1, 2, and 3: These DLCs involve our group traveling to a parallel world to save our children from a different future collect the gemstones so they can travel back in time. Features conversations between parents and alt-children and a glimpse of what the future looked like for IE and the other children. These are the hardest of the DLC that I have:

Einherjar levels:
Champions of Yore 1 & 3: Has us fighting the Einherjar of main Lords from previous games. In fact, CoY 1 is the whole kintroduction to the "Einherjar" concept, but I'll probably just put the explanatory stuff in whichever one we do first. For CoY 3, we also get as a reward the skill "All Stats + 2" which gives a permanent +2 stat boost to the character it's given to, though CoY 1 doesn't have any rewards aside from the card you get to recruit.
Lost Bloodlines 2: We're doing this one soon!
Lost Bloodlines 3: Has us fighting enemies from both Archanea (FE1/3) and Jugdral (FE4/5). As a reward, we get the Paragon skill, which doubles the exp gains of whichever character gets the skill.
Smash Brethren 2: In this level, we're paired up with various units from Tellius (FE 9/10) fighting against a bunch of enemies from Elibe (FE 6/7). Our reward is an item that gives access for one female character to the Bride class, a cool class that gets lances, bows, and staffs for weapons, and a shiny pretty dress.

Sweet Loot:
The Golden Gaffe: Gold farming level. Kind of an amusing story, but not much too it. I have this for Lunatic/post-game grinding.
EXPonential Growth: Experience points farming level, wouldn't have much plot and not really necessary at all, but it's here? I have this for Lunatic/post-game grinding.
Infinite Regalia: Some tough enemies guarding chests that hold 3 randomly chosen "regalia" which are really strong weapons. There's also some interesting conversation tidbits from the children units implying that there's something deeper about the enemies that you're fighting, though we don't really have a whole lot of kids.

If you guys are interested in seeing more, I think the other Scrambles and SB2 for a Bride (just because it's a fun class) would probably be the best choices, with all of the others except the exp and gold grinding ones to be decent. I'm not sure how well the FP levels would translate to this kind of story style, but I'd be willing to give it a go.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

Chapter 23: Extra Super Plot Chapter 5000!

We all healed up and geared up before heading into the temple. TT finally decided that carrying around that healing staff wasn't doing much for him, so he ditched the staff and cape with a goofy collar for a long coat with a different goofy collar.

TwistedTurtwig reclassed into Swordmaster!

<Athena> So, Drohn, I have a favour to ask before we start this battle.
<Drohn> If you're going to ask me to leave you behind, forget it.
<Athena> Nope. I know that sticking together with the magic of friendship is our best chance at winning this battle and all. But... just in case WPM does manage to get full control over me, don't just stand there like a dork and let it happen. Just kill me before I can royally f*** anything up.
<Drohn> Athena...
<Athena> Hey, weren't you the one just telling SR that the life of one person doesn't matter when compared to the lives of millions?
<Drohn> I guess so... *sigh* You're right. Just promise me you'll do everything possible to avoid letting WPM seize control over you again, whatever it takes.
<Athena> You know I will. ^_^

Drohn and I ran forward and ended up ahead of the others as we barreled our way through the temple and into the alter room, a large vaulted chamber with columns and a humongous altar table on the back wall. Standing in front of the altar waiting for us was, of course....

<Drohn> WPM!
<WPM> Ah, Prince, welcome to your doom! I have the Fire Emblem, and the Dragon's Table is set for a feast. I will return Grima to this world!
<Drohn> Yeah, yeah, we know you're going to resurrect your dark god and destroy the world, hurry up and get to the fighting alredy.
<WPM> But you don't know how I'm going to do it, do you?
<Drohn> ... I guess I don't know, no.
<WPM> The Awakening ritual, of course! It's not only for Exalts with their silly Naga-worshipping, you know. I can use it to Awaken Grima just as easily, especially now that I have all the gems! The fell dragon needs only a mortal vessel, which you so kindly brought along... *looks slyly at Athena*
<Athena> ... you mean me?
<WPM> There's daddy's smart little girl! You carry my blood—the blood of the fell dragon. His soul slumbers within you.
<Athena> Wait, what? I'm the fell dragon Grima? That doesn't make any sense...
<WPM> The Grimleal have worked for generations to create someone like you... A vessel worthy of our master. Simply having Grima's blood in your veins is not enough... My father was not worthy, nor was his father before him. Even I was not able to accept Grima's most sacred gift. But you? You had all the makings. You were perfection!
<Athena> ...
<WPM> Of course, your mother didn't really understand how awesome this was and she ran away with you when you were baby. So don't expect any grand revelations about the rest of your lost memories or anything. But I don't really care about that anyway, so long as you're still alive now. This is your purpose of being!
<Drohn> Yeah, well, we're stilling going to kick your ass and stop all of this, so everything you're saying doesn't actually matter.
<WPM> You may have killed me before, but that wasn't even my final form! I now have the power of thousands of sacrifices flowing through my veins! I am unstoppable.
<Drohn> Well, you're not the only one stronger this time around, WPM. We've had plenty of chapters worth of leveling, too. And we're all much better friends and stuff, too!
<Athena> Yep. I don't honestly give a s*** about what happened to me before. As far as I'm concerned, my life began when Drohn found me in that field. I have fought and laughed and bled with my friends, and that is what matters... the ties we forged, the bonds we share... they are of a power greater than Grima.
<WPM> Wahahahahaha, you're such a fool.
<Athena> Well, at least we can both agree on one thing. My entire has been spent building up to this moment. Whether that moment is being used as a vessel for your dark god, or if that moment is going to be me kicking your ass, either way, this is it.
<WPM> Bring it!

WPM raised his arms and a shimmering purple barrier appeared around us in the altar room. Running from wall to wall, it effectively kept Chrom and I on the altar side with WPM while the others following behind us were stuck on the opposite side with a whole host of enemies. I couldn't do anything to help them now, I just had to trust that the strategies we developed together would be enough to see them through while Drohn and I took out WPM on our own. I shook my head to get rid of the strong feeling of déjà vu as Drohn and I paired up and rushed at WPM with all of our strength.

<WPM> Last chance to reconsider, Athena.
<Athena> What, you really think I'm going to change my mind now?
<WPM> I just don't think you've thought this thing through all the way. Even if you do manage to kill me, you'll have no one left. All of the Grimleal will turn on you, and your friends and all of the other Naga worshippers will shun you when they learn you have the soul of the fell dragon within you.
<Athena> I don't really think my friends would turn on me. Besides, I'd rather be in a world full of people alive and alone than give into your madness and destroy the world.
<WPM> Humans are weak, pathetic creatures... Your "bonds" with them will bind you. You are destined for a greater purpose! The GREATEST purpose! You are to be a GOD!
<Athena> Not your god—not today.

I sent a powerful magical blast at WPM, knocking him back with a single powerful blow, his body spasming with pain and sparks of magical energy. But it wasn't enough...

<WPM> This isn't over... Damn you BOTH!

With his final breath, WPM launched a powerful magical attack at Drohn, and I had just enough time to shove him out of the way and take the brunt of the attack myself. After all, my Res was much stronger than his. The blast knocked me back, but I was mostly unharmed as Drohn ran to check on me. As he came close to make sure that I was alright, I formed a magical bolt of lightning in my hand and stabbed Drohn right in the gut with it as he collapsed back in shock and horror at my betrayal.

<Drohn> This is not your—your fault... Promise me you'll escape from this place...
<WPM> *evil cackling laughter*
<IE> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
<WPM> With the Fire Emblem complete, my magic knows no bounds. Athena is powerless to resist me. Do you see now, Daughter? Human bonds are leaves in the wind. They offer you nothing!
<IE> This can't be happening. We were supposed to change this! Everything I have done is...worthless.
<???> The hell it was!
<IE> Wait... it can't be
<Chaos Jackal> *proudly struts in like the badass he is* Don't you put any stock in this destiny hogwash!
<IE> CJ! You're... alive? But--
<CJ> You thought I died back in Valm, didn't you? I almost did. In fact, if it weren't for you, I would have. Normally my pride would have kept me on that field fighting to my death, but thanks to your words, I had the courage to be a coward!
<WPM> Well, whoop-dee-fricking-doo. If you didn't die there, you just die here.
<CJ> Nope! Wahahahaha, man, you still don't realize that you've been tricked!
<WPM> Wait, what?
<CJ> Now it's my turn to give a nice long explanatory speech. You see, Athena predicted everything that would happen here. She had some kind of weird premonition dream about this fight with you.
<WPM> If you think--
<CJ> Nope, not your turn to talk yet. You see, she also saw the Fire Emblem in that dream, the Fire Emblem with all five gemstones intact. She knew that you would use its power and that there was no way we could bring the real thing here to you. The Fire Emblem itself is a bit too gaudy to make a proper decoy of, but the gemstones were easy enough to fake.
<WPM> What, you expect me to believe that she switched the stones? No way! My spies would have noticed it; I've had their party's steps followed through every ridiculous sidequest and shopping spree.
<CJ> You were watching the folk you knew were alive, sure, but you weren't watching me!
<WPM> But that doesn't make any sense! This can't be--
<CJ> Why? Because loldestiny? Athena had your "destiny" beat days ago, when she came up with this plan.
<WPM> Damn you to all of the hells! All of them! YEAH! >:|
<CJ> Ohman, the expression on your face is so great right now.
<WPM> None of it matters! Chrom is dead! Grima will-- whut?
<Athena> *super awesome magic move*
<Drohn> *stands up and brushes himself off like a boss*
<WPM> Augh.... that stings....
<IE> Father, you're alive! :D
<Drohn> Yes, Athena spared me. She knew what WPM would have her do, so she focused her power into weakening her magic before the strike... don't get me wrong, it still hurts like hell, but I'll live...
<WPM> Damn you all, and your stones! I won't need them to kill you!
<Drohn> You're on; let's end this once and for all!
<Athena> Together!

WPM snarled at us as disbanded the magical glowy purple barrier with a flick of his wrist and teleported into the thick of his soldiers leaving us to give chase. Camo showed up and she and CJ joined Drohn and I as we rushed into the fray to take down Validar for good. The others were all paired up and killing their way through the soldiers, just how we had planned previously. Drohn and I made a beeline towards WPM. In his rage, he was using all of his power at its fullest. He managed to hit me once with a powerful magical attack, but it wasn't enough to stop me and Drohn from cutting him down once and for all.

<WPM> Why would you... squander... your birthright... my... daughter.... *collapse* *die*
<Drohn> Woohoo! We did it! Finally we actually really changed destiny for once! We won!
<???> ... Or have you?
<Athena> Oh, not you again.
<Hierophant> You may have altered the course of history once again, but you have not changed its destination.
<Athena? Huh?
<Hierophant> It is written that Drohn dies here at your hands. Or, perhaps I should say... my hands?
<Drohn> So, who are you, really?!
<Hierophant> I told you, I'm Athena. The Athena that murdered you and became the Fell Dragon, Grima. When this "Seliph" of yours decided to come back in time, I thought I would hop along for the ride, too.
<Athena> Another version of me? But...
<Hierophant> Was past me really this stupid? I AM YOU. The only differences between us is the decisions we made. Those vivid dreams you keep having are my memories. We share those memories because we hare the same heart... Grima's heart.
<Athena> The headaches, the voices... it was you all along!
<Hierophant> Your current memories start the day I entered this world. I intended for us to unite then, the first moment I found you. But your heart was still too weak to contain Grima's power... The shock of my attempt wiped your memory clean.
<Athena> Well, I guess that's another mystery solved. >_>
<Hierophant> I knew that if IE's silly little plan succeeded that Grima would never be resurrected and I would cease to exist, so I had to help things along occasionally, you know, to keep my future as a God secured. Like when WPM was killed in the assassination attempt on Vesperia.
<Drohn> *whisper* I knew something was weird about that...
<Hierophant> But that was the past, and now comes the future. You were supposed to choose godhood over sticking around with a bunch of no-good humans. But, since you're going to be a Feline about it, I guess I'll just have to do it myself. If you'll not claim the sacrifice laid at the Dragon's Table, I will claim it in your place!
<Athena> What?!
<Hierophant> The fell dragon and I are one! The journey though time may have diminished my power, but all of this delicious life force will renew me!
<Drohn> Ohshi-

Suddenly, the not-Athena flashed a brilliant purple and a huge burst of energy shot through the room and into the sky. Not quite knowing what was happening but knowing that we needed to get the hell out of there, we all started running out of the altar room, through the temple, and out the doors. Outside, the sky had turned black as the darkest night and a huge pillar of purple lightning shot forth from the top of the temple's tower. Angry clouds full of magical lightning formed and swirled together above us. After a huge flash of light, the temple and the purple light spike were both gone, replaced with an evil flying being of enormous proportions.

<Everyone> ... ... ...
<IE> Ohgods, no.... that's Grima... that's the demon who destroyed my world... and now he's here...
<Keeper> It looks so silly; can I keep it?
<TT> That thing is huge!
<PMJ> There's no way we could defeat that cute little guy in battle; it would slaughter us in a second!
<Drohn> If only we still had the Fire Emblem, we could ask Naga for her power... it might give us a fighting chance...
<Athena> What, you mean this Fire Emblem?
<Drohn> The Emblem! :O But how...?
<Athena> The not-me didn't seem to need it and just ignored it lying next to WPM's body, so I snagged it on the way out. Figured it might be useful.
<Drohn> Sweet! I guess we should go perform the Awakening then.... I don't suppose anyone knows anything about that, do they?
<Light> I know that according to Ylissean legend, the first Exalt paid tribute to Naga at an altar on the peak of Mount Prism. We should probably head there.
<Drohn> Alright, well, let's head there... seems like the only hope we've got at this point...

Please vote for your choice(s)! If a suggestion gets 2 separate votes from different sources (posts, not likes), the promotion/change will happen before the next chapter. The only exception to this rule is any unit who hits Lv. 20 in either class, in which case they must be sealed before the next chapter, no matter how many votes.

Current Suggestions:

Class Changes:
Light -> Dark Flyer, Falcon Knight
Athena -> Dark Flyer
Keeper -> Sorcerer
Drac -> Warrior, Berserker
Cinesra -> Griffon Rider

Paralogues/DLC Chapters: LB2 got 3 votes; we'll be doing that next chapter before we

DLC votes: Like promotion/reclassing, 2 votes means yes
(no outstanding votes)

Feel free to suggest any levels you'd like to see done, or second any existing suggestions! Feel free to check out this post for my quick blurbs about the various DLC levels that are available.

We also have 6 side chapters to decide on! These chapters are not available yet, but they will be open for play right before the final chapter, so I wanted to open for voting a bit ahead of time to give people a chance to think about it. 4 of them allow us to recruit previous bosses for reasons that are explained within the levels themselves (Shining Raikou, Heavenly King Spoon, DNA the Conqueror, and Kecleon-X ), 1 of them allows us to recruit an NPC that we believed was dead but isn't, and the last allows us to recruit an entirely new character that we haven't seen before (Priam). If you'd like to see any of these levels played when the time comes, drop a vote. Like the DLC levels, at least 2 votes means we do the level, otherwise I'll skip them. Please vote separately for each level.

Player Notes:

Happy birthday Professor Light! For her birthday present she got a... Rift Door. I guess it makes sense that Light would get a present that means shopping. Silly royals. I used it on the chapter we just finished and was able to pick up a Bolganone, Killing Edge, and Brave Sword. The latter went to TT along with the Amatsu since now that he's a swordmaster I can finally hand that one out. TT also has the Balmung for now, but I'll probably give that to Drac once he gets A swords.

Thank you past-me for reminding present-me to give Drac that Balmung.

This chapter was definitely more plot than gameplay. This chapter really was something of a mindf*** for me the first time I played, since I obviously didn't have any idea what was happening, but recognized the scene of Avatar and Chrom (Drohn) behind the purple barrier fighting against Validar (WPM). When that cutscene started up again, the same cutscene from the beginning when Avatar attacked Chrom, I just got the sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. Of course, this made the reveal of Basilio (CJ) coming back and Chrom being okay and everything part of an elaborate plan even better.

Even if the exact details don't quite add up*, this chapter is definitely one of my favourite of the entire game and the whole memory gimmick really made me feel and experience the game on an emotional level, and I have to give FE:A major props for that. Well played, IS.

(* - For example, even if Validar wasn't specifically watching Basilio since he thought he was dead, he still would have had his spies keep an eye on the Fire Emblem and wouldn't have noticed if a guy they thought was dead was hanging out with the group)

The actual battle itself was pretty easy. Athena really did OHKO WPM during the first part of the battle, and almost everyone else was ORKOing, except for IE who was having some trouble against some of the tankier promoted enemies with her Iron Lance and E-rank magic.

Anyway, this chapter is long enough that you really don't need me rambling even more in the post-chapter notes. Don't forget to spay and neuter your pets, and also to vote for any DLC levels you'd like to see or any of those last 6 side chapters I mentioned or any reclasses and stuff too!

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

Please vote separately for each level.
Seriously going to make me write out a vote for each?
Fine.

I vote to get Kec-X.
I vote to get DNA.

I vote to get the dead guy who's not actually dead.
I vote to get Heavenly Spoon.
I vote to do Lost Bloodlines 3.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

I vote to get Kecleon-X
I vote to get Heavenly King Spoon

^_^ Baddies

I vote to do Lost Bloodlines 3.
I vote to do Future Past 1+2+3.
I vote to do Harvest Scramble AND Summer Scramble.

^ cause Keeper thinks we should do them ^-^

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

Welp, that's a good number of levels we're doing then. Guess I get to keep stringing this along for a few weeks more. :p

Do you guys have any preferences when I should do these levels? The 6 side-chapters can only be done right before the final chapter, but all of the DLC ones can be done whenever.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

I really don't know if when they actually get down affects anything... but maybe evenly until the final chapter?

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

I was about to type something about the Bride class but then I realized Keeper voted for every DLC level (even like the exp one) except that one lolololol

Anyway, the one I'm doing today is really the only one that is impacted by when we do it a lot, since we'll have the ability to switch one of our men to the Dread Fighter class and the sooner that's done, the sooner whoever gets that will be able to start using it and gaining levels and such. LB3 gives us Paragon which, uh, helps whoever gets it level faster I guess, though it's not really all that useful to us now since we're not really grinding or anything. The 2 Scrambles and the Future Past levels are all just story/convo stuff with no actual gameplay impact aside from people getting the exp from playing those levels, so they can be done whenever.

For what it's worth, we have 2 regular chapters left before the final chapter.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

Only 2 o.o
Well I suggest this order:
Whatever one you're doing
LB3
Scrambles
3rd last chapter
Future Past 1-3
2nd last chapter
K-X and Spoon
Last Chapter

You didn't get the characters that I like to see in the bride class. ;o

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

Whose fault is that, eh? :p

(and yet you still vote for exponential growth, srslynow)

Not mine, I suggested Cordelia ages ago.

Mostly I just like that half the units yell at the zombies to die on that map.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 23

Yeah, it's amusing, but there's not really much I can do with it. I can only bring six people in anyway, and my choices are either to just copy the text word-for-word, which, well, if people want to just read the game text they can play themselves or look it up on the wiki, or re-write or make up my own, which wouldn't be as good anyway. I can, and would, rewrite the opening/ending "plot" to turn the ridiculousness up to 11, but there's not even all that much of it. Same for the gold level, really, which is why those two options didn't even make my "decent" list. I mean, if you guys want them, I'll do them. :U I just don't think they'd be particularly amusing.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

DLC: Lost Bloodlines 2: Electric Boogaloo

We fled Grima's wrath and tried to make a straight path back to Ylisse, but the violent storms were disorienting and somehow we veered off course. Lost, we struggled to find shelter, eventually settling for setting our tents up in a dense forest that provided some shelter from the rain and wind. When we awoke... none of us had any idea where we were. S***.

<Athena> Where are we? Drohn, do you know this place at all? Are we in Ylisse?
<Drohn> There's nothing here I recognize... I don't think we made it past the Plegian borders in that storm last night. We must still be in Plegia somewhere.
<Palutena> Nope. This land is way too arable. I may be working with you for now, but I still know all of Plegia's deserts and swamps like the back of my hand, and this is definitely not Plegia.
<Athena> Huh, weird.
<Cinesra> Look over there—soldiers, readying for battle.
<Drohn> Hmm... I can't quite explain it, but there's something...strange about them...
<???> *runs up wheezing* *Huff, huff, huff* Warriors? Warriors from afar?! Oh, thank the gods! *wheeze* Help...help actually came! Er, I mean...of course it came! *pant* It is all...as I have foreseen! ...Um, yes. *ahem*
<Everyone> o_o;
<???> Ho there warriors... Well... *pant* Well met... I'm sorry... Once I saw you... I ran all...the way here... Perhaps...you've a lovely lady healer that might help...an old man catch his breath? Gah, no! Never mind that! It's soldiers I need now... *wheeze* Strong ones! And plenty of them!
<Drohn> So, uh.... who are you again?
<Old Hubba> They call me Old Hubba. Just a humble fortune-teller living here in the Outrealms...
<Athena> The... Outrealms? Is that where we are?
<Old Hubba> That's not important right now! We haven't much time! Now please, O mighty slayer—you must help me!
<Drohn> We'd be happy to help you, but what's going on? What do you need soldiers for?
<Old Hubba> Do you see those two armies fighting down there?
<Drohn> *peers over the distance* Looks like one larger army attacking a smaller one pressed up against that fort there.
<Old Hubba> Look closer, particularly at that blue haired lad on the horse.
<Drohn> I don't see what you're... wait, no, it couldn't be. Is that... Knight Lord Sigurd of Jugdral? My eyes must be playing tricks on me, but...
<Old Hubba> No tricks boy! That is indeed Lord Sigurd.
<Drohn> But he died thousands of years ago!
<Old Hubba> Indeed! But his fighting spirit still lives on in the form of an Einherjar. Phantoms of a sort...
<Drohn> So that's Sigurd's ghost? And fighting him and his people are... is that Exalted King Alm dressed like some kind of ninja?
<Old Hubba> I don't have time to explain all this! Just believe me that these ghosts are out of control and can cause very real damage to people around here, including me! If you defeat them in combat, I will be able to regain control over them. Join up with Sigurd's army to cause the maximum amount of death and this will be resolved the cleanest, I promise you. I would offer to help directly, but... my eyesight's horrible, just horrible. ...Did I mention my knee? In any case, I'd better sit this one out. I'll stand behind the lady soldiers and watch their backsides. ...Er, their backs!
<Drohn> Well, alright... but I do expect a full explanation of where we are and what's going on once this is done!
<Old Hubba> Understood! Good luck!

We spit up before coming down the hill. I sent Drac, PMJ, Light, IE, and SAE down to help Sigurd at the bottommost fort while the rest of us circled around to come at them from the side. As Drohn and I neared a local fort, we received a few more reinforcements in the form of Jugdrali fighters including... Arvis? Arvis and Sigurd fighting on the same side... that old man really was going to have to explain a lot when this was done.

The battle was insane. Every time I looked around, I was seeing faces from history on both sides. Drohn and I rushed forwarded and attacked someone with the face of none other than the Hero-King Marth himself. Drohn winced as he slew Marth with his sword, but as soon as he fell to the ground, his body disappeared and was replaced by an ornate-looking... trading card?

Fortunately for us, the enemies seemed to prioritize killing our phantom allies rather than the living and breathing members of our army. They would attack us if we were in range, but as soon as they saw a member of Sigurd's army, they would change direction and go after them instead. Drac managed to find himself in a huge group of enemies, but he managed to hold his own with PMJ at his side. IE and SAE took cover in a local fort and while IE practiced her magic blasting foes from afar and dropping their trading cards like flies.

Finally the battle was over. Both allies and enemies had vanished, replaced with the same strange cards. We all dutifully picked them up and brushed away the grass and grime while Old Hubba came back running from his hiding spot during the battle.

<Old Hubba> *huff* Magnificent! *wheeze* Thanks to you... that's a few more.. *puff* Einherjar returned to me. You're all so strong and skilled... Er, not that it's any surprise to ME, mind. It is just as I have foreseed. ...Foreseen! Er... HAD foreseen? ...Foresaw? *Ahem* It's just like I predicted!
<Drohn> Okay, so, here's your cards back... so are you going to explain to us what the hell is going on now?
<Old Hubba> Ah, yes, of course. Right then... So these calling cards that summon the Einherjar... that's the fighter spirits, you see... they're a sort of family heirloom. My ancestors have guarded them since...well, as long as anyone can remember. Each card contains a record of one of history's most valiant and glorious heroes. They do not conjure up the actual person, of course. That would just be silly! It's more akin to...a mirror image, of sorts. A reflection of the man or woman they were.
<Cinesra> But if they've been in your family for ages, why would they attack you?
<Old Hubba> Because they were stolen from me! Stolen by an evil temptress! Er, sorceress! The Einherjar will do the bidding of whoever summons them, you see... In the wrong hands, they could level entire nations! Or conquer all the Outrealms! I am but one frail, weak, slightly sleepy old man... You must help me get them back!
<Light> I'm sure this is all dreadfully important, but we have business of our own to take care of...
<Keeper> A dragon to kill, a world to save, you know, the usual.
<Old Hubba> Your own campaign...? I mean, oh yes, of course! Know all about it. Foretelled it years ago, in fact. ...Er, foretold? ...Have foret—
<Palutena> ... get on with it.
<Old Hubba> WAIT, I'M HAVING A VISION! It's... It's a vision of the future! And...you're there! You and your whole party!
<TT> Oh gods, here we go...
<Old Hubba> SHHH! You'll disrupt the vision! It looks like...yes, you helped me get all my calling cards back! You look sooo happy that you did the decent thing and saved the Outrealms... Oh, and you were victorious in, uh, whatever it was in your world, too! But ONLY because I lent you heroes from the cards you rescued for me! Amazing!
<Athena> Legendary fighters you say? They were pretty good, if they really would help us take down Grima.
<Chrom> Heh... All right, old-timer, you can spare us the theatrics... If helping you means legendary soldiers will take up our cause, we'll do it.
<Old Hubba> Huzzah! Ho ho, you've made this tired and bent but still attractive old man very happy. Oh, and there's no big hurry getting back all my cards, by the way. At least, not as you perceive time. It flows differently in the Outrealms, you know. You can cross back and forth from here to your world as it suits you. So just go and abandon me whenever you please...like an old shoe...cold and alone...
<Athena> Cross back and forth? You mean this is another world?
<Old Hubba> Yes... of sorts... there is a place in your world where space-time is thin and you can cross between your world and the Outrealms here.
<PMJ> We must have stumbled through it accidentally during the storm kicked up by Grima.
<Drac> Drac thought he felt something weird tingly while we walk, but he thought it was just tiredness from fighting!
<Old Hubba> Oh! Heh, yes, I almost forgot... Here's your reward for helping me just now. It's the "Alm, Exalted King" card. He is very powerful, a good contributor to your cause! He can also teach one of your soldiers the ways of the Dread Fighter. Now get some rest, and tomorrow you can help me some more, yippee!
<Athena> He ran off without showing us the way out of here...

Decisions, Decisions:

Master & Second Seal Possibilities:

We now have a Dread Fighter scroll! This can be used to turn any male character into a Dread Fighter, a class that has access to Swords, Axes, and Tomes, and some sweet skills, too. We don't have to change someone into a DF, but it's a cool class. Like other reclassing, if a particular character gets 2+ votes to be a DF, I'll swap them over before the next chapter.

Promoted Second Seal Use: ∞ (C16 shop)
Light: Can switch to Falcon Knight, Dark Flyer, War Cleric, Sage, Dark Knight, or first tier classes
Athena: Can switch to all promoted and base female-available classes (see spoiler below for full list)
Drac: Can switch to Berserker, Warrior, Bow Knight, Swordmaster, Assassin, or first tier classes
Keeper: Can switch to Berserker, Warrior, Assassin, Trickster, Sorcerer, or first tier classes
Drohn: Can switch to Paladin, Great Knight, Bow Knight, Sniper, or first tier classes
Cinesra: Can switch to Sniper, Wyvern Lord, Griffon Rider, Sage, Dark Knight, or first tier classes
Palutena: Can switch to Great Knight, General, Bow Knight, Sniper, Dark Knight, or first tier classes
PMJ: Can switch to Griffon Rider, Valkyrie, War Cleric, Sage, or first tier classes

Promoted Class: Paladin, Great Knight, General, Hero, Bow Knight, Sniper, Swordmaster, Assassin, Trickster, Falcon Knight, Dark Flyer, Wyvern Lord, Griffon Rider, Valkyrie, War Cleric, Sage, Dark Knight, Sorceror, Grandmaster (also Great Lord for IE only)
Base Classes: Tactician, Cavalier, Knight, Mercenary, Archer, Myrmidon, Thief, Pegasus Knight, Wyvern Rider, Troubadour, Cleric, Mage, Dark Mage (also Lord for IE only)

Base Class Second Seal Use: ∞ (C16 shop)
Celever: Can switch to Manakete or Mage.
SAE: Can switch to Thief, Wyvern Rider, Troubadour, Mage, or Dark Mage
IE: Can switch to all base female-available classes (see spoiler above for full list)
TT: Can switch to Thief, Fighter, or Myrmidon.

Athena -> Dark Flyer
Keeper -> Sorcerer
Drac -> Warrior, Berserker
Cinesra -> Griffon Rider

Paralogues/DLC Chapters: We've gotten enough votes to do LB3, both other Scrambles, and all 3 FP levels. Since our heroes are currently stuck in the Outrealms, we'll probably continue on with the DLC chapters in a row. We've also gotten enough votes to do the extra levels to recruit Kecleon and Spoon.

DLC votes: Like promotion/reclassing, 2 votes means yes. We have 1 vote each for:
SR recruitment level
DNA recruitment level
Priam(/MtC?) recruitment level
Non-Dead NPC recruitment level
Infinite Regalia
EXPonential Growth
Golden Gaffe

Feel free to suggest any levels you'd like to see done, or second any existing suggestions! Feel free to check out this post for my quick blurbs about the various DLC levels that are available.

Player Notes:

I don't know why I insist on continuing to make "Electric Boogaloo" jokes here. It's not like you guys are old enough to get it or find it funny in anyway. But adding that that number 2 sequels is just automatic and natural to my brain, so I probably couldn't stop doing it without enormous force of will. And it's still funny to me, which is what's important in the first place anyway.

This chapter ended up having a lot more text than expected due to the explanation of the Einherjar system. I ended up directly copying a lot of the explanation dialogue directly from CoY1, since it does a pretty good job and is still fairly amusing, and I obviously added a bunch of my own interjections from other characters, re-wrote some things to reflect the LB characters, and some other stuff. I didn't really include too much about these particular Einherjar/characters since I can imagine there are all too many of you who have played these old games and would therefore appreciate the character references. But if you like FE and you haven't played FE4 and you can stomach old graphics, you totally should play it because it's a great game and, in my opinion, one of the best stories in the entire FE franchise.

The actual level was... interesting to play. Admittedly, I don't think I've ever played this map with a full team before; I usually just use 1-2 pairs of characters to clear everyone out. As a result, this is actually the first time that some of the NPCs survived, including Arvis, so I got to see the different text at the end with him which I've never seen before.

And now we have access to a Dread Fighter, woo! \o/ DF really is a pretty fun class. It's kind of a jack-of-all-trades, being neither particularly strong in either Strength or Magic, but having easy access to both is great, and the class has some great skills, too. I hope you guys vote to make one. :U

Since I know we have at least a few other DLC chapters voted in, I decided to leave the ending to this one ambiguous and leave our characters in the Outrealms for a little bit. It's a bit easier to justify the plot that way. If you have a particular order that you'd like to see, speak up, but for now I'm thinking LB3, Harvest Scramble, Future Past 1, FP2, FP3, then round out with Summer Scramble before going back. Obviously, if people vote in even more chapters, I'll rejigger things a bit, and you can vote for different orders, too.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Welcome to the Outrealms!

I vote Keeper to be a Dread Fighter... cause I dread vsing him in Kingdoms >:U

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Welcome to the Outrealms!

I second classing myself as a Dread Fighter.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Chapter 22

DLC: Lost Bloodlines 3 & Harvest Scramble

Annoyed at the disappearance of Old Hubba, but somewhat heartened by his claims that time passed differently while in the Outrealms, we decided to make an early camp and wait for him to come back and show us the way out. Presumably, he'd make us help him round up some more of his trading cards again before letting us leave, so it was important that we all tended our wounds and had a full night's sleep. Keeper decided to summon Alm and have him teach him the ways of a Dread Fighter.

Keeper of Night reclassed into Dread Fighter!

I settled myself for an evening of laundry, but it wasn't long before Cinesra came over for our nightly strategy games.

<Athena> ... and I'm toast. Once again.
<Cinesra> Oh, don't be too hard on yourself, dear. You're winning about 1 matches in 3 now, quite an accomplishment!
<Athena> It's only thanks to your constant teaching and practice that I've even gotten that good. *sigh* Care for another round? I find that I have a hard time sleeping if I can't beat you at least once in a night.
<Cinesra> You would not be the first damsel to be kept awake by thoughts of me, you know… *winkwink* But I'm more than happy to teach you, and to help you sleep, anything to ease your burdens.
<Athena> And boy do I have a lot of 'em. Everyone relies on my tactics and strategy for each and every battle. And now we'll be going against a god! I'm not experienced enough for this.
<Cinesra> Maybe in terms of years of experience, no, but your instincts are spot on, and you've always led us true. Truly, in a real battlefield you're a genius! I never feel at danger placing my life at your hands.
<Athena> Well, thanks, Cinesra.
<Cinesra> And if those honeyed words are not enough to aid your slumber? Then I shall be happy to lie in your cot and whisper a sweet lullaby while you—
<Athena> Oh, what's that? I think I hear Light coming...
<Cinesra> So many ladies that require my attentions... I must bid you adieu, then.
<Athena> Good night, Cinesra. Hmmm... I wonder what Drohn's up to... Ope, looks like he's heading off to spar with IE. I guess I'll leave them to it and get back to the laundry.
...
<IE> I'm reading for tonight's training, father. ^_^
<Drohn> Before we get to that, I've been thinking... will you be able to get back to your own world once this is over?
<IE> I don't actually know, though to be honest, I probably won't even try. My world was destroyed to nothingness by Grima. Even if we defeat him here in this world, it won't change what happens in my future. But don't worry, when this is all over with, I'll leave you and Athena to your life.
<Drohn> Huh?
<IE> I know I don't belong here. I don't plan on becoming a burden.
<Drohn> But you're not a burden and you never have been! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love baby-you as well, but you're still my daughter, and now also my friend. You've grown into a very fine and noble woman. I hope you'll always remain at my side, just like your mother.
<IE> Oh, father, thank you.... ;~;
<Drohn> Now, are we going to go spar or what?

Cinesra and Athena attained support level A! Drohn and Ice Espeon attained support level A!

We were woken up pretty early in the morning, however....

<Old Hubba> Help! Help! Please, you must help me!
<Drohn> What's going on this time?
<Old Hubba> Oh, thank goodness! I'm afraid we have a bit of trouble on our hands again.
<Drohn> "We"?
<Old Hubba> Come outside and I'll show you!
<Athena> Wow, that's a big army... they all look familiar, too...
<Drohn> Aren't those the same Einherjar that we fought yesterday?!
<Cinesra> And even more than yesterday, too, if my eyes aren't deceiving me.
<Old Hubba> Yes, unfortunately, not all of my cards were recovered in your valiant attempts yesterday, and the ones that were still free managed to steal the ones I got back and now they'll all against me together! Quick, you must defeat them all so I can seal them again!
<Drohn> Well, they'll all pretty pissed and heading this way anyway, since you led them to us... *sigh* Alright everyone, gear up and head out!

Stuck fighting a war on 3 fronts against an army that massively outnumbered us, we took all the advantages we could get and kept shelter amongst the trees while they rushed towards us. IE and Drohn went together to a local fort to call off some of their numbers as well. We slaughtered each and every one of the Einherjar, even the healers, so they could be returned to their cards and hopefully stay safe. For reals this time.

<Old Hubba> Oh, thank you, thank you! *flips through deck* Yes, this should be all of them now. Minus Alm, of course, since I gave him to you. Here, take a Seliph, too! He's useful, and handsome as well.
<Drohn> You're sure that's all?
<Old Hubba> Well, of the Archanean and Jugdrali groups, anyway, I'm still missing a bunch of cards from some other continents and time periods, but none of them have showed up causing trouble yet.
<Athena> In that case, would you mind showing us the way home?
<Old Hubba> Oh, yes! The Outrealm Gate. Hmmm... it should be a couple hours march, uh, that away *vaguely waves* Though I do wish you'd stick around for a bit longer. Like I said, time passes very slowly here, so you don't have to worry about what's going on in your world. Relax! Take in the sights!
<Drohn> I'm sure it's very pleasant here and all, but, well, even knowing about the time thing, the issue of Grima threatening our world weighs down on our minds, so...
<TT> Awww, does that mean we can't spend some time at the festival? :<
<Drohn> ... Festival?
<TT> Yeah, I thought I'd scout around a bit, you know. Totally nothing suspicious. Anyway, there's this town a couple kilometers down the road that's having a harvest festival.
<Celever> I LOVE festivals! Can we go, please? PLEASE? ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
<Athena> Well, I guess a short break wouldn't hurt. Let's go check it out.
<Everyone> HURRAY! \o/
<Mayor> Welcome to our village! It's not every day we get visitors from another world, don'tcha know. And you picked a great time to come! Our annual harvest fair just started!
<Drac> Make with the WooHooing! \o/
<Mayor> We got all kinds of fresh produce, plus games and prizes and fun at every stall! Take a gander for yourself— Oh, and don't forget to bring a friend! They say the fair has a special magic that brings folks closer together, ya know.
<PMJ> This all sounds very pleasant, yes. ^_^
<Major> And... oh dear, there's my deputy mayor. Deputy! Where is your party hat?!
<Deputy> S-Sir... I... monsters have invaded the village!
<Mayor> D:!
<Deputy> They're shambling all over the square and being all moany and just spoiling everything! :<
<Drohn> Monsters?!
<Palutena> Ugh, it's Risen. I can tell my the smell.
<Drohn> Well, so much for taking a break. Everyone, gather your weapons!
<Mayor> Oh, how lucky we are that such fine soldiers have arrived just in the nick of time! My deputy and I will be, uh, in the mayoral office doing, umm, mayoral things. Let us know when you have the problem fixed! *runs*
<Celever> It looks like the monsters are attacking the stalls, so we still get to attend the fair!
<Keeper> Sort of anyway. But no worries! I'll kill all the Risen and win you a big stuffed animal!
<Celever> Yay!

We gathered our weapons and strolled into the festival grounds. Most of the villagers had scattered, leaving their stands and food behind, and Risen were shambling through the streets and pathways. We began to fight our way through, killing all of the Risen as quick as we could, but it was hard not to get distracted with the fair...

<Drohn> Ohman, look at that excellent Cake. Boy am I hungry! And deep fried things on a stick... and, ooh, is this a protective amulet of some kind? This is such a fascinating festival!
<TT> You think? Seems like a regular old festival to me. You see one deep friend thing on a stick, you've seen 'em all. I guess this is pretty new to you though, huh?
<Drohn> Yeah, I didn't really get out of the palace much. Many of the customs of regular people are still something of a mystery to me.
<TT> Welp, it's not too late to learn! I'll teach you anything you'd like to know, what's good to eat, what to avoid, which games are a scam (hint: all of them)... I probably know more about fairs than everyone else here put together.
<Drohn> Excellent! Let's start with the food, is this a... oh, wait, it looks like there's some kind of commotion up there.
<Villager> Eek! Me money pouch 'as been nicked!
<Other villager> Dammit all, mine too.
<Drohn> Huh, looks like a cutpurse is taking advantage of the Risen distraction.
<TT> ...
<Drohn> Hm? What is it, TT?
<TT> Er, what? Oh, n-nothin'. I just...I've got an errand to run! If you'll excuse me...
...
<Celever> It's so shiny and pretty!
<Palutena> ...
<Celever> HEY! Are you ignoring me?
<Palutena> Yes.
<Celever> :< I just wanted to give you a compliment! Your hair is so shiny and pretty... :< :<
<Palutena> ...
<Celever> Can I comb it? Pretty please?
<Palutena> Surely someone in this army has better hair that you can play with.
<Celever> Nope! Yours is the best. Everyone says so, especially the guys!
<Palutena> When I find out who these men are who've been talking about me... Well, let's just say there are about to be some new toads hopping around camp... *stalks off*
<Celever> Hmmm... oh, PMJ, what's wrong? You don't look so happy. :< Don't like the fair?
<PMJ> Me? Oh, no, I'm doing fine. It's poor Minerva who's not doing so great. I think she's coming down with a cold. :<
<Celever> Ohnoes! D: I hope she gets better soon. Then maybe we can go flying together and stuff!
<PMJ> You know, that's actually a great idea. I never thought about it before, but you being a Manakete and Minerva being a Wyvern, you're probably pretty alike. Say... what do you usually do when you have a cold?
<Celever> Oh, you know, the usual. Drink lots of fluid, sleep a bunch. Oh! But this old man Manakete I used to know once told me that eating lots of fruits is very good for a cold, too!
<PMJ> Fruits, eh? Seems like there's plenty of fruit around here. We'll have to take a look and find some festival fruit that Minerva likes. Thanks for the tip! ^_^

We slowly worked our way through the festival, trying not to upset too many stalls or destroy too many souvenirs on our path. The Risen weren't particularly powerful, but they were numerous and surprisingly resilient.

<Drohn> Dammit! I could have sworn he went this way.... TT? Wher-- there you are!
<TT> Oh, hey, blue. Did you need something? You look troubled.
<Drohn> You just kind of slunk off suspiciously and then I didn't see you for a while.
<TT> Oh, hah. I went off to catch the cutpurse that was troubling the villagers. Send a thief to catch a thief, amirite?
<Drohn> Oh... that's all?
<TT> What, you didn't think I was actually the thief myself, did you?
<Drohn> N-No! Not at all! Though, you were acting a bit suspicious about it. Why didn't you just tell me earlier?
<TT> Honestly? I was just having a little fun. I wanted to see if you really trusted me. Believe me, I was thrilled when you didn't immediately accuse me of being the thief! Sorry if it was a bother.
<Drohn> No bother, I'm just kind of exhausted after chasing all these stalls to try and figure out where you went...
<TT> Well, let me make it up to you be treating you to a night at the fair! Drink whatever you want, eat whatever you want, enjoy the companies of whatever ladies you want; it's all on me. And I won't tell Athena either, promise.
<Drohn> A night of drunken revelry? ... if only I weren't so worn out from chasing you around... x_x;;;
...
<Celever> Hey, PMJ, how is Minerva doing? ^_^
<PMJ> Oh, she's starting to feel better now! That fruit you suggested was just the trick. ^_^
<Celever> YAY! ^_^
<PMJ> She'll still need a few days to recover, but she's on the mend for sure.
<Celever> If you want to let her rest until she's feeling better, I could always transform and you could ride on me.
<PMJ> Have you actually had a saddle and a proper rider before?
<Celever> Well, no saddle, but I did take Athena on a ride to the marketplace once back in Ylisse. It was awesome! You should've seen us—we did a loop-the-loop and everything! And then I did this super-fast dive and pulled up juuust in time! That was her favorite part for sure! She was so excited, she lost her lunch!
<PMJ> I, uh, I think I'll stick with Minerva for now, but thank you for the kind offer. ^_^;;;; In fact, I think she wants some more fruit! *leaves quickly*
<Celever> Awww, poo, I thought it would be fun. Oh well, hmm, oh, there's Palutena! Did she... doze off in the middle of combat next to that stall over there? o_o; Hmmmm...
<Palutena> *zzz* Erk *snort* Uh, what? Ohshi- did I really fall asleep in the middle of battle?
<Celever> Good morning, sleepyhead! ^_^
<Palutena> Have you really been standing over me watching me while I slept?
<Celever> You looked like you needed the rest! Plus, it gave me a chance to touch your hair. The boys were right! It really is all silky shiny pretty.
<Palutena> Are you out of your tiny mind?! I hope you enjoyed it...because you're about the receive the hexing of your life!
<Celever> Eeeek! Sorry, sorry, sorry! I really am! You just looked so tired lately, I didn't want to wake you! I was worried, you know? But I stood watch over you the whole time, honest! I...I thought I was helping... ;~;~;~;
<Palutena> Ugh, fine, how am I supposed to stay pissed at that cute face. But no touching people's hair while they're asleep! And no more touching my hair, well, ever.
<Celever> Ok... After this one! >.> *touches hair once more and flies away*
<Palutena> Hey, stop that! >.<

Finally, we made our way through the entire festival, killing each and every Risen. A few more reinforcements came while we were fighting, but we swept them up with the others. The mayor came out of hiding and thanked us all for rescuing the village, and he offered us free food from the festival for the rest of the day, woohoo! We spent the rest of the evening eating and drinking and playing games and having fun at the fair. All in all, a day well spent.

Athena -> Dark Flyer
Keeper -> Sorcerer
Drac -> Warrior, Berserker
Cinesra -> Griffon Rider

We also have a Paragon Skill to give away! The Paragon skill doubles the exp gains of the character who gets it. It's not super important now because we're all rather strong, but please vote for the character you think you should get it. My suggestion would be anyone but Keeper (as a "base" class, he's already gaining significantly more exp per kill than the other characters), Nah (for the same reason), IE (she's already full on skills and the ones she has are good), or Athena (who already has an exp gaining skill in the form of Veteran). Vote for your choice!

Paralogues/DLC Chapters: Current plan is: Future Past 1, FP2, FP3, then round out with Summer Scramble before going back to the main chapters. We've also gotten enough votes to do the extra levels to recruit Kecleon and Spoon.

DLC votes: Like promotion/reclassing, 2 votes means yes. We have 1 vote each for:
SR recruitment level
DNA recruitment level
Priam(/MtC?) recruitment level
Non-Dead NPC recruitment level
Infinite Regalia
EXPonential Growth
Golden Gaffe

Feel free to suggest any levels you'd like to see done, or second any existing suggestions! Feel free to check out this post for my quick blurbs about the various DLC levels that are available.

Player Notes:

Despite all the text in Harvest Scramble, I put it together with LB3 because the chapter would be pretty short otherwise. Hope you guys enjoyed it! Most of the conversations available in this chapter need a character that we're not using, but I did do all 3 convos that were possible. Probably for the best, since it kind of ended up super long anyway.

LB3 wasn't too bad. That was where Keeper and Athena got most of their exp since they ended up being on choke points for a while, Athena with Cinesra and Keeper with Nowi. I really did just tank in the trees (and IE/Drohn in that fort in the lower right) and let them come to me and it ended up being fairly easy. HS was also butts easy; even the Risen with Counter weren't so bad since I was OHKOing everything unless Miracle activated. My main goals in HS were 1) all the convos we could get, 2) get all the sparkles, and 3) don't pair up or pair up with different people in hopes of getting some other supports. I also did that a bit in LB3 which is how Cinesra/Athena and Drohn/IE got their A level supports.

Looks like tomorrow will start the Future Past push. I might do them all in one or I might split them up, depends on how long the chapters end up looking. On one hand, they're pretty plot-heavy; on the other, we've only got a handful of parent pairs, so less dialogue is possible, and I'm not going to put a huge focus onto the characters we're not using, or in some cases haven't even seen (like the kids for the potential parents we didn't choose to use).

Athena's also hit 20, so vote for reclass (or to stick as a Grandmaster) if you care. She's sitting on a single vote from Keeper for Dark Flyer so far. Cinesra and Light are also both getting close to 20, so feel free to start thinking about them.

RE: Fire Emblem Awakening: PokéBeach Member Edition! Welcome to the Outrealms! Part 2

That convo between Nowi and Tharja is waaay more awkward in the US version.
