I need my team rated. I've posted it on a bunch of other web sites, but nobody gave me any helpful advice. Everyone said, "It's all about wi-fi battling!" But I DON'T HAVE WI-FI! I said this a few times and nobody cared, so here's my team.

i know how you feel
my friends are always asking me to meet them using wi-fi but i constantly tell them that i dont have wi-fi and they never seem to remember...or care

RE: In-game Team Rates

@P0rygon-z If you are doing double battling, replace DV with Hypnosis, as you can break Sleep Clause with DV.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Actually, those are just my replacements. please scroll up and you will find my team. i will replace vespiquen and Lickilicky.

Since both Manaphy and Darkrai are Banned from OU, you pretty much have to use Gardevoir and Mightyena.
Gardevoir's moveset is perfect, except for the Trace. With your team, you really should have Synchronize to stall Blissey or ParaTogekiss.
Also change the item to a Leftovers, Plz. That way, when it's asleep you get a free 1/16-1/4 heal, which is soooo worth it!!!

Mighteyena's decent.
Except the ability is kinda eh again. Quick feet makes your opponent scared to inflict status on you, cuz then you'll be deadly!! If you haven't already caught Ralts and Poochyena with those natures and abilities, I'd recommend Modest Ralts #Synchronize and Adamant Poochyena #QuickFeet.

Mightyena's moveset needs a tweak or two. I'd keep Crunch (for obvious reasons) but get rid of Scary Face for Howl, because for walls and tanks, speed usually doesn't matter all that much and Howl will get rid of them quicker. With Super Fang, if it loves you a lot, I'd recommend Return instead, as if it loves you, you can pack a powerful punch with Howl :) Or if you really want Super Fang and it's Intimidate,
Also, if you're giving it Quick Feet (which I sure hope you are :) ) Definitely keep Facade so you've got 150% speed AND a powerful 140 base power move :) If not, Facade isn't all that helpful. Get rid of it for Payback or Sucker Punch (I'd go for Sucker Punch :) ) for revenge kills. Or maybe even Spite, but that's an egg move.

In any case, keep Crunch and get rid of Scary Face. It just has no place :) The other two moves are free to be changed if you want them to.

I hope this helped.

Would you mind rating my team? 0:)

AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS RATE MY TEAM!!!!!
:) Kthxbai.

Your Foretress is AMAZING. if i could pay you for it, i SO would.
Togekiss, wheres the roost???!!! haha! i recall someone telling me roost was the way to go! XD but Nasty Plot is also good. And EV'd perfectly.

Your Starmie might be better off with Psychic(like mine^^)... Starmie in my POV(point of view) is more of a GO-IN-AND-FINISH-EM-OFF. haha. i mean, with its amazing speed, Starmie could finish em off after being hurt by rocks, spikes and badly poisoned...

The rest of your team looks amazing. Electivire should prolly hold Expert Belt. Hes a Physical kinda boy, you should give him the boost. :)

This is definitlty the team that would crush me in a battle... :(
But! its amazing and perfect. Youre just like all the other winners out there. :D

RE: In-game Team Rates

^ i really dont see the point of having both crobat and golbat on your team....switch golbat out for another pokerman

RE: In-game Team Rates

This is the team I made to beat the Hell outta my friends in a casual battle. It's a little unconventional, and relys on attacking more than setting up stuff, but that often catches the opponent off guard.

Blissey lv 100
255 EVs in HP and 255 in Def
Bold Nature
Serene Grace
Role: Lead/Staller
Chople Berry

Flamethrower
Psychic
Softboiled
Toxic

This lead pretty much stops most opponents in their tracks. Chople Berry stops those annoying Fighting type attacks and lets me set up toxic. Flamethrower is for those Steel types that she can't poison. Psychic counters fighting types, and Softboiled is just to annoy everyone. Serene Grace lets me spam burn if I can't poison it, and it'll be bound to lower the enemy's sp. def due to Psychic. I was originally going to go for Tbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Psychic and replace the HP EVs for sp. atk. What a noob I was.

Salamence lv 100
255 Evs in Speed and 255 in Attack
Adamant Nature
Intimidate
Role: Physical Sweeper
Yache Berry

Fly
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Crunch

Every team needs a strong Dragon type. STAB Fly can kill almost anything with average Def and neutral type. Dragon Claw isn't as powerful, but it's good for taking out other team's Dragons. Fire Fang's for Ice types, and Crunch is excellent for taking out frail Psychic types. Everyone likes it when I switch it in and lower their Attack.

Sceptile lv 100
255 Evs in atk and 255 in sp. atk
Either Adamant or Mild Nature
Overgrow
Role: Mixed Sweeper
Expert Belt

Earthquake
X-scissor
Energy Ball
Dragon Pulse

MixTile is cool because he can learn such a variety of moves. I chose X-scissor over Brick Break as my Dark-killer because it pwns Psychic and Grass as well. Earthquake's only for emergencys, against Fire or Steel, but people don't expect it. Energy Ball for STAB, Overgrow when I'm in trouble, and sweet sp. atk, and Dragon Pulse is another gem it can learn.

Spiritomb lv 100
255 EVs in HP and 255 in Sp. Atk
Quirky Nature
Pressure
Role: Secondary Wall/Annoyer
Brightpowder (Open for suggestion)

Psychic
Dark Pulse
Shadow Ball
Confuse Ray

Good to switch in to because it has no weaknesses. It's not fast, but it can usually take a move and launch Confuse Ray. Psychic is for Foresight, and Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball are for STAB. I'm not sure what item it could benefit from. I might give it Leftovers, but I'd have to trade it from HG (This is on Platinum btw). It's ability doesn't do much, but it does mean that if it's in a long battle, the other guy's Pokemon will be Struggling before long.

Porygon-Z
255 EVs in sp. atk and 255 in Speed
Not sure what Nature
Adaptibility
Role: Special Sweeper
Wise Glasses

Psychic
Tri-Attack
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt

Another Dragon-counter. Psychic is for Fighting types, Ice Beam for Dragons (It out-speeds Garchomp) Tbolt is for type coverage, and Tri-Attack is not only scarily strong due to STAB, but it has the added bonus of unpredictability (Freeze, burn, paralyze). Can't outrun Alakazam, but has better resistance and a larger movepool. Also, Adaptability usually raises sp. atk, because most Pokemon have higher def than sp. def. If not, I can just switch it in later on.

Steelix lv 100
255 EVs in def 255 in sp. def
Adamant Nature
Rock Head
Role: Main Wall
Sitrus Berry (Gonna swap for Leftovers)

Earthquake
Iron Head
Thunder Fang
Double Edge

Again, not a conventional set. EQ is it's best attack by a country mile, but Iron Head's Flinch rate is very good (30% if I remember correctly) Thunder Fang is for Surfing Water types, and I threw in Double Edge so that it can hit every type for at least neutral damage, plus no damage from Rock Head.

So there's my team. I'd really like some advice for items (I'm not a fan of the Choice items, mind), and perhaps the odd move suggestion. If you think of a type or single Pokemon that could sweep my team (I know Fighting's a weakness, so I have Psychic on my team three times). What I don't want, is suggestions for different Pokemon. It was hard enough to get these guys with the right natures and then train them with EVs (Steelix vs. Tentacruel, and The only ones I trained with Macho Brace were Salamence and Blissey. Also, no PKRS) and then get them to lv 100. I only own fourteen lv 100s, this six, my Platinum story team, and a Rayquaza and Blaziken from Emerald.

Thanks in advance.

RE: In-game Team Rates

This looks good!

Blissey: Your Blissey is bad-ass. Seriously, i would hate it, but maybe it wouldnt be smart to put it up against a Sleep Powder using Breloom. With Breloom in the OU category, i wouldnt be suprised if this was pulled on you. And a Cholpe Berry??? No, absolutly not. Blissey should ALWAYS be holding the leftovers. Health gain is an important role in Blissey's line-up. The moveset is great.

Salamence: Really? Fly? Fly isnt really neccesary, but i guess you can keep it. *sigh* Another berry? look, Berries that suppress Supereffective attacks dont cut down the dealt damage very much. And now that youre playing with the tough guys on here, they EV to max and the damage will be deadly. So get rid of that berry. You wont be needing it.

Sceptile: This one is looking great. it has amazing move coverage and basically can eliminate them dang Starmies. XD Thankfully, you didnt give this one a berry.

Spiritomb: Brightpowder.... Brightpowder.... NO. Brightpowder is never a good item to use. If your using Spiritomb as a staller, it should also have leftovers. Trust me! With high defense, Spiritomb will gradually regain its health, if, you switch one of your Attacking moves to Hypnosis. Using Confuse Ray and Hypnosis will irritate the opponent and make it difficult to hit you, without wasting your time with Double Team. You should probably get rid of Psychic. Why would anyone pull a Fighting type on you??

Porygon-Z: My FAVORITE pokemon!!! <3 Anyways, this one looks great. Good items, good moves, perfect for those OU Dragons. This is why Porygon-Z is amazing. Because you can get OHKO's with a tri attack!!!

Steelix: Good job as this. I have nothing to say about this one. Just keep him away from Starmie. A weak Bubblebeam can KO it.

RE: In-game Team Rates

So it's good except for the items? I need to get some Leftovers...

Do you have any suggestions for something for me to put over Fly on Salamence? It's a good STAB move

RE: In-game Team Rates

Well, according to pokemon.marriland.com, if you wanted Salamence to learn another flying type move, the only other flying moves it could learn is TM40(areial ace) and Air Cutter from the move tutor. Fly is strong, but i guess its ok. i guess i overlooked what bad moves Salamence can learn. I can give you my leftovers if you want it. You can even have my Snorlax. (haha. i dont like him very much)

RE: In-game Team Rates

No, I'm sorted for Leftovers. I remembered that I hadn't got it on Emerald yet, so I got it and cloned it four times. I migrated them this morning.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't actually have wi-fi :p

RE: In-game Team Rates

id suggest houndoom/houndour...but thats just my opinion
and why are you using the derpy bunny?

RE: In-game Team Rates

I'm using Buneary cos I want to see what using Lopunny is like.

I also can't decide whether to teach Aerial Ace to Prinplup or Gabite.

I am also thinking about using Dry Skin Croagunk, as I need some Water resistance that can hit them for neutral damage, at least.

RE: In-game Team Rates

@porygon-Z's earlier post
id suggest toxic orb over flame orb if your using the facade setup
having a burn lowers your attack stat, so if you dont plan on having mightyena in longer then a few turns, use toxic orb, because it deals lees damage and doesnt lower your attack stat

RE: In-game Team Rates

Yo! This is my platinum team which is about to face Cyrus/ Giratina in the distortion world. Any feedback on ways to improve it are welcome!

Infernape LV50
Hasty/Blaze
-Thunderpunch
-Flamethrower
-Mach Punch
-Grass Knot

Luxray LV41
Calm/Intimidate
-Tackle
-Thunder Fang
-Bite
-Swagger

Gastrodon LV42
Sassy/Storm Drain
-Surf
-Mud Bomb
-Hidden Power (Grass)
-Body Slam

Staraptor LV45
Adamant/Intimidate
-Close Combat
-Steel Wing
-Aerial Ace
-Take Down

Gabite LV40
Naughty/Sand Veil
-Iron Tail
-Shadow Claw
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw

???

Which Pokemon should I include in my team as the sixth member? Honestly I prefer Ambipom or another Ice type. And it is a good move if I replace my Luxray for an Electabuzz. And any other water pokemon good enough to replace my slow Gastrodon?

RE: In-game Team Rates

Yes I think you should replace Luxray for Electabuzz because of its nature and all that. You should probably evolve your Gabite, but that might take too long so that's good. You could replace Gastrodon with Gyarados if you want to and the sixth team member I am suggesting a Ghost Type like Misdreavus and you could evolve it.
