Halo:Reach

Anyone watch that new video Bungie posted regarding Halo Reach? Something about the last spartan or something. I thought it was pretty cool. But..have some minor issues...one could turn out to be major though.
 
I think that was Dr. Halsey talking to Cortana about what spartan she chose in the last few seconds of the video. If you read the Fall of Reach, then that might mean the Master Chief has some sort of part in the game...
 
It may be like halo 2, Bungie didnt tell us that we could be the arbiter until a day before the release. So it may be that we get to be red team and noble team. But yeah reach is gonna be awesome. Im getting legendary edition and the new reach 360.

Yes but it makes it look like Cortana has to chose from one of the Noble members. The only thing I ask for is that Noble 6 not be MasterChief. Bungie said fans of the book would be very disappointed with one thing in the game...and I just hope it's not this thing cause that seems pretty awful.
 
Well, Bungie's already confirmed that you won't see or play as the Master Chief in Reach. But it does seem like Cortana's picking from Noble Team. And the mention that one of Noble Team's members will "hold the fate of humanity in their hands", makes it seem like there's gonna be some major changes in the storyline of Halo.

But you may get to be other people from red team.
 
The Master Chief was in Blue Team, and besides, if you could, then there should have been some mention of it, like rumors or announcements by Bungie, which we know there haven't been.

Like I said earlier, No one even whispered about being the arbiter but it happened. Oh yeah sorry I meant blue team. But kelly was in red team at one point.
 
So about that live action trailer... :p

Are you disappointed with it? I was expecting some Spartan action. But at least we got some plot details?

Man i get tired of this, multiplayer is the bulk of any game. Really i would suggest if u want to play the best halo game play halo 2 i think it is the best all around game play story, music, etc so go play that and then u can decide for yourself but u can not judge everything just by halo 3.

I never based my opinion for Reach on Halo 3. People in past posts were talking about Halo 3, so I posted my response.
I won't play reach most likely, as there are better games I wish to spend my money on. But if my youth pastor gets it, I'll play it.
I don't think anyone can really judge the game until they play it themselves.
Multiplayer is the bulk, but it's not the best. Take Bioshock for example; 1 was great, but 2 wasn't as good. Multiplayer these days seems to have to be on every game for it to sell well. That's not always the case. (Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 sold well) I never said what halo game is the best either.
 
Halo Reach is leaked! I went ahead and spoiled myself by watching the ending. Hopefully the other cut scenes show up too cause now I'm excited :D. There has not been much activity here...I'm guessing nobody wishes to be spoiled at this point?
 
If you decided to play Reach while it was leaked...you're an idiot. Microsoft is going on a rampage right now, so have fun with that.
 
I think that Halo:Reach will be great in many ways. The campaign looks epic, the forge mode sounds insane. But the Multiplayer is gunna be eh I think. Halo never used to be a class based shooter, but with these classes with small adjustments its turning into about every other game out there.

From the Beta I wasn't very impressed. Elites were probably my favorite "Class" just because they don't really go way out there. Rolling isn't as big of a change as Jetpacks, Sprinting, Auto Invis, and Shield Overload(?).

The new weapons that I got a chance to try out felt really bad. The BR replacement and Needle rifle seemed like they were trying to be Carbine posers but unfortunately failed. The shotgun was nerfed it seemed, making it way hard to even kill someone beating your face in. The only weapon they didn't change was the Energy Sword, but there's really no surprise there...

The new Assassinations are cool, but take too long for anyone who actually plays competitively to use, and if it happens to you I'm sure the lobby will be filled with excited swearing from a 12-13 year old ridiculing you about how much you got owned.

So although I'm pumped for Forge and Campaign mode, I'm pretty weary about the Multiplayer. Hopefully some of the problems in the Beta wont make it into the finished product though
 
^ yes i totally agree with u on some points. i hated movement speed and jumping it did not feel like halo and i have heard they tuned it up. I love the br but its boring after a while it is always the same. the dmr is better i think its more sniper like and i like that and the shotty no way it was nerfed it was op i would die at a mile away from the shotgun. and yes assaintions are cool but its the new tea bagging to be honest. i am psyched for forge so much better now.

Also if you get legendary edition you get a flaming helmet

also i love the new CQB jackals and some of the random non covenant aliens.
 
Do anyone think Halo Reach hasn't been advertised as much? Since it's going to replace Halo 3 I expected some cool promotions such as the Mountain Dew one they did for Halo 3.
