Introduce Yourself!

Hello,
I decided to join so that I could check out more friend safaris on my game as well as discussing all things Pokemon with fellow fans.
I found out about the site from mentions on forums and through other sites.
I like playing video games, hiking, biking, and going to the theatre.
Seems like a pretty good community here and I look forward to being a part of it.
 
Hey I'm Char. I recently had a major operation in my abdomen it's left me off work for 3 months at home with my family. My little brother loves Pokemon nearly as much as me so I got us a deck each and some boosters.
We're loving battling with each other and making decks. But how comes most of the booster packs are sold out or way more expensive online (UK).
We got the Raiders and Defenders decks (psychic/dark & dark/water), which are awesome, but I can't figure out wether to go for boosters from now on or mix it up with decks!
 
Why you joined: I found a forum for trading vivillon patterns and I wanted to see if I could trade some of mine for ones I needed as well as possibly helping people with ones they needed.

Well hi, my name is Shani and I'm turning 16 in August. I'm here because I am obsessed with anything to do with pokemon? I didn't know of this website until now, so I joined. Currently playing: Pokemon X. I'm giving my GCSE's this year, so I've been really busy, but as soon as my exams get over, I'm going to EV train pokemon and do some shiny breeding I guess. Hello Everyone! My name is Charizard Collector. I joined this website for many reasons. I'm already a big part of the poketubing community. I felt I should get involved here as well. I can meet new people and have more trades/sales completed to help my collection grow as well as other people in the community. I really enjoy collecting charizard cards, as well as a lot of japanese variations of ultra rares. I have nearly all English sets completed in 1st edition, and unlimited print. I'm currently working on my japanese sets. Cheers.
 
I... am... ZUBATMAN. I am 23 and have been a pokemon fan for as long as I can remember. Admittedly 4th gen makes me cringe. I do not know why, but it just never appealed to me. Shiny Ninetails may be my favorite Pokemon. Ironically, my first shiny was a Magikarp on Silver and I fainted it accidentally lol. My second was a Pidgey on Fire Red before you receive Pokeballs or the Pokedex (rage quit and restart). Currently, I have a shiny Gyarados and two shiny Murkrows on X. I love a lot of various video games on all consoles/platforms. I see no reason to hate one or the other or anything for that matter. Later guys o/
 
Hi I'm theturtwiggal. I grew up on Gen 4 and started playing Pokemon in kindergarten. I always choose grass type starters, they're my favorite type. My first starter is turtwig and it was my first Pokemon to level 100. I am the Pokemon master

Hi all,

I joined because some friends and myself recently got into playing the TCG. Several of us collected (with the exception of a few that actually played a little) when we were in grade school (when Base Set came out).

We thought it would be fun to go back and actually learn to play the game, so we built some decks with the old Base Set, Jungle, and Fossil cards, and then we decided to jump ahead and start playing with the new XY stuff.

Specifically, I joined to find information on deck building and looking for people to trade with since we haven't found a lot of local people to do that (Magic seems to be much more popular where I live). I have lurked for a little while, but decided to join just recently.

Names Zid. Member of the USAF for 8 years now. I've played the video games on and off since I was a kid, and dabbled with the TCG some when the base set came out. I recently stopped playing Warhammer 40k and Warmachine, as well as Magic, and some guys at work started buying up TCG decks. So my daughter and I got some theme decks and... wala. I'm highly competative so I tend to play more on that side. Favorite Poke's (at least from a game standpoint) are Trevanant, Greninja, Pikachu, Venusaur, Mawile, and Aggron (theres others though I can't think of them lol!)
 
Hello all... I'm new here. I don't talk much, unless i'm talking with someone.
I have 2 3ds's and am running both pokemon x and y. Although I only have
1 on at a time. Ummmm... yeah.
 
Though i like strategy games best, i recently went into the world of pokemon. I like its slow-paced gameplay, and the various pokemon characters i can raise and battle with.

I found this site while searching the web for potential Friend Safari friend (you see, my friends don't play pokemon).

I'm hoping i'll run into nice poke-people here :)
 
Hi everyone i'm Smadin. I collected cards a lifetime ago but i was too young to know how to use them. I only really played the DS games until christmas 2013 when a friend of mine made a large frame full of different eevee cards. After more than a decade i wanted to start collecting again so i went out and bought the sylveon box and it kind of snowballed from there. So i'm collecting again and i'll be attending my first pre-release in a fortnight. I am also looking to get into competitive play and pokebeach seems like a good resource.
 
Hello there, I'm Jofo2360. I joined Pokebeach because I had an idea for a fan game I wanted to get out to the public. I found pokebeach by googling "Pokemon Fan game Idea Forum." I enjoy composing music and playing minecraft, pokemon (obviously), and Civilization V. there isn't much else left to say, so.... I hope you like my fan game idea.

I joined PokeBeach because I want to involve myself in conversations about pokemon strategy, both VG and TCG...

I've been playing Pokemon since the day Ruby was released and my dad bought me it, thinking I'd enjoy it. From 2005-2008 I played TCG semi-competitively, competing in a weekly league on Long Island, but never doing more than top-cutting at the local city championship.

For the last year or so, Ive gotten back into the card game (though I havent stopped playing the video game). Im going to university next year and am finally able to support competitive TCG financially, so I hope to soon compete as highly as possible.

My favorite Pokemon are Vaporeon and Krookodile, and my favorite game in the series was Crystal (after going back and playing it for the first time last year)...

I hope to be an active member of this site and the Pokemon community

Hello my name is Tristan alias Tsunami. I joined here after hearing about this place from an from of mine who was suggesting places to look for help with completing my Friend Safari list. That is my main reason for coming here, but looking at the board, I might I might do a bit more. As for my interests besides Pokemon they are in brief: Reading,Writing, Drawing, playing games, listening to music, watching Anime/Reading Manga (anyone who is looking for suggestions on those I would be glad to offer some to) and teaching myself to speak Japanese as I want to Japan someday to see the Cherry Blossoms.
As for Pokemon interests: my favorite Type is the Water type, and my favorite Pokemon is probably any of that type but if I pick just one, it would be Squirtle.
