Rainyman's claim has two mistakes in it. It doesn't look like a legit town or safe claim. He could be indy. I don't find that unlikely and I want to find out. I also don't think Rainy is more helpful or trustworthy as SceptileMaster who was only there to discuss the policy lynch and went inactive later on. Everyone changing their votes to SceptileMaster is actually a bit scummy if you ask me. Also TGK's relation to Rainy is rather dubious. Rainy's lynch could really give us some handy info and leads. But it doesn't seem like it's going to happen so I might as well unvote...

I also think Blaker's comment is noticeably scummy.

Honestly, I'm neutral on everyone, so what I'll probably just do is place a random vote.

Why don't you think it looks like a legit town or safe claim? Legit town or safe claims can have mistakes, and one "mistake" was apparently put there by rainy.

Huh.. I actually find it a legit point against Rainy, because afaik, it is not typical for SS to make such typos. This may not be sufficient evidence for Rainy's alignment, but it is possible evidence for him indeed being trolly and rooting for the Mafia by confusing the town, like people suspected him after saying what he said early on..

@Lord o da rings @TheSceptileMaster @Robin Aisaga @scattered mind

I want all of you to have some reasoning behind your vote park on rainy and complete and utter disappearance from the thread, and if it's a policy lynch you haven't been reading since he's been trying to improve.
I'm just gonna say right now, I've been very busy this week so far. 2 projects and a lot of homework. Little time to be spending on this game.

Anyways, Rainy's been trying to improve. I get that. Actively making more posts and trying to be an effective and active member of the game. As for TSM, he's band wagoned and hasn't really seemed to show up since, and as a result, I can't really seem to guess what he may be. Because I have no idea what either of them are, and the day is so close to ending, I'm just gonna let my vote be.

Can everyone who hasn't posted recently offer their opinions of the lynch before it happens?

I seem to have trouble keeping up the thread while posting, so I'll just stop reading, and start posting. If my comment does not make sense because of a later post, that would be me not reading that post yet.

Yes, it does.

Actually, that TSM play really reminds me his play style last game where he was scum.. and Rainy is scummy imo for saying bb talks too much, but that is scummier than TSM, I think.

##UNVOTE:
##VOTE:TSM

Why? Because he is a new player?

What about TSM?

That's a little suspicious. It's like you were guided to say that to gain new town cred. Why do you think that you can't do that? The game rules says you can quote.

ok. Redirector.. What was your interest to "at least stay until night 2"?

I just forgot to put quotes. Keep scrolling down, I fixed it.
It's one of the things we play with in real life, and even though I read the rules, I felt sceptical about doing it.

not really sure if "discussing" the policy lynch refers to saying that everyone's mind had been made up, meaning there was not much to discuss for him. I don't see how everyone changing there votes for sceptile is scummy, for its unlikely all of them including me are mafia. Do you have anything you think would contribute to the policy lynch discussion if you think sceptile had something to say?

FoS on everyone who left the Rainy lynch because "it wasn't going to happen". Don't do this. If you truly believe in the Rainy lynch, stick to your conviction.

I'm not oversold on either lynch atm. rainy's last few pages have the feeling of being coached IMO (and yes ik it's very WIFOMy, but it's quite a bit of an improvement of the sort we don't typically see on new players in their first game iirc––EM and TSM being others I can think of rn), but TSM's subbing out has the look of being panicky scum to me.

Of the two, I'm gonna go with rainy over TSM. I don't particularly think either is scum (though I tend to think that way about new players, so idk), but I do believe rainy's flip can get us more information, since afaik we have no reads whatsoever from TSM, and at least a few from rainy. Rainy, if you end up getting lynched today, I do hope you stick around for future games. :)

Just as it's unlikely all of them are town don't you agree? Policy isn't the only reason players keep their vote on you. We can't really tell what @TheSceptileMaster's stance is now after 5 pages of discussion. That's why I really want him to make a comment even if it's short. I think that is also fair to the (possible) sub.

Also what I really want to know from you Rainy is wether you still claim your role to be legitimately copy/past from your role PM.

I honestly think we should give Rainy a chance to improve on his play; he seems to be making an effort so I'm willing to let him live. At the same time, though, I kinda wanna see how TSM's sub plays. Removing my vote's not gonna make a difference, though...

What I mean by this is that even if I removed my vote, either is going to get lynched.

Day 1 Update

The announcement that Separatists had invaded the Senate sent a coursing wave of panic amongst the Senators present. They immediately started throwing accusations at one another in order to save their own skins. None liked the idea of having their minds bent and twisted by the Jedi in order to determine their innocence. Everyone has secrets and the Senators wanted them to remain as just that.

Two names seemed to be thrown about far more than others, both of which were relatively new members of the Senate. rainyman123 was only in his first week at the Senate, and TheSceptileMaster was in his first month, yet, coincidentally, an attack on the Senate happened, causing many to become suspicious.

Eventually it was determined that rainyman123 was just too new to be the one responsible so TheSceptileMaster was thrown before the Jedi and his mind was invaded by the Jedi.

TheSceptileMaster has been lynched. He was:
Jar Jar Binks

Alignment: Republic (Senator)

Advisor to Padme Amidala of Naboo, you take over from her whenever she is on leave from her duties. Unfortunately you are also extremely clumsy causing much of what you put your mind to to fall apart and fail.

Passive Ability: Clumsy
You were banished from your people because you were clumsy. Unfortunately for you, that trait hasn’t changed. Throughout the game, whenever you would use an Active Ability the target will be chosen at random.

Active Ability: Bombad General
Confusingly, you were promoted to Bombad General of the Gungan Army. Your clumsiness combined with powerful energy orbs was an interesting choice. Every Night Period you may PM me a player name. During the following Day Period that player will only be able make a total of 3 posts in the Game Thread.

Win Condition: All anti-Republic aligned players are eliminated.

“Oh thank goodness he’s innocent!” Padme Amidala called out.
She couldn’t bear the idea that her advisor could be guilty of such a traitorous action.

In his now comatose state, Jar Jar Binks (TheSceptileMaster) was taken by a medical droid to the onsite Medical Bay to be treated, where he would remain for the duration of this battle.

Senate Orders

“The decision to remove Jar Jar Binks from this now battleground was wise. His clumsiness may have proven more harm then good,” Chancellor Palpatine began. “Unfortunately we are still no steps closer to uncovering a Separatist. Perhaps this Senate Order that I have devised will aid us tomorrow in the capture of a Separatist.”

Introducing the Senate Order: Double Time

I cannot share anymore about this Senate Order, except that you must vote either ##FOR or ##AGAINST[/b] it. To vote, you simply send me a PM in the conversation that I have started with you. This PM can either be in the same PM as your Nightly Actions or in a different one.

If I receive more FOR’s then the Senate Order will be passed and will announced at the start of Day 2 where you will also learn what the Senate Order is all about. If I receive more AGAINST’s then nothing will happen and tomorrow will continue as a normal Day Period. You will not learn what the Senate Order is about if it’s not passed.

Night 1 has now started

If your ability states that it can be used during the Night then you may use it during this Night Period. Simply PM me what you’d like to do with your actions in the conversation that I started with you for this game.

Night 1 will end on Saturday the 3rd of December at 6:30am. Any actions received after this time will not be processed.

It would be wise for you to carefully go through the OP and read up on the specific rules that pertain to the game.

Sleep tight.

Day 2 Start

The sound of marching could be heard late in the Night. Jedi and Senators alike awoke immediately. While the Jedi ushered the Senators into the open foyer of the Senate, Bail Organa ran and checked the security booth.
After returning he spoke.
“It’s bad,” he started. “A small legion of Super Battle Droids were air dropped through the ceiling last night and then they’re marching right now towards us. They’ll be here any second.”
The sound of marching grew louder.
“No matter,” Mace replied. “No droid can best us. Anakin, you’re the last line of the defence for the Senators, stay back with them. We will be just up ahead to take out these droids.”
“Yes Master!” Anakin replied, linking eyes with his wife amongst the Senators, relieved he would be able to watch over her.
The sound of marching become overpowering.
The Super Battle Droids marched through the open door of the Foyer, blasters already firing. Lightsabers were drawn and the small battle began. At first, it looked like the Jedi would make really short work of the Super Battle Droids, however, part way into the fight, Aayla Secura took a shot to the shoulder and she went down, grasping her shoulder in pain.
“Cover me!” Plo Koon shouted as he sheathed his weapon and ran over to the fallen Jedi.
The Jedi Master immediately began working the Force to heal Aayla until she was ready to fight again.
The Super Battle Droids were low in numbers at this point and almost extinguished, but in a last ditch effort, upon noticing the two Jedi not fighting back, directed all their fire at them.
As Plo Koon was pulling Aayla to her feet, three shots went straight into his back, killing him instantly.
With the attention of the droids on the now fallen Jedi, the remaining Jedi quickly defeated the last of the droids, ending the conflict. Mace Windu was the first to speak.
“For the sake of Jedi Master Plo Koon, we must end this war quickly. His sacrifice will not be in vain.”

@Professor Palutena has been killed. He was:
Plo Koon

Alignment: Republic (Jedi)

One of the wisest Jedi on the Council, Mace Windu asked you to join him at the Senate meeting to help secure the Separatists if they were to attack. Your wits and Force healing ability should be extremely useful to the Republic.

Passive Ability: Unshakeable
Your wisdom has kept you alive and gotten you through an uncountable number of battles, making you the Jedi Master you are today. Throughout the game if your vote would be altered, your abilities redirected or your abilities blocked they would not occur. Furthermore if a player with an altered vote count places a vote on you it will count for 1, regardless of the alterations.

Active Ability: Life Force
Using your knowledge of the Force you have unlocked the power to heal wounded and ultimately prevent their death. Every Night Period you may PM me a player name. If that player would be killed by the Separatists during the Night they will survive. You cannot protect yourself.

Win Condition: All anti-Republic aligned players are eliminated.

Senate Orders
“The loss of Plo Koon is truly tragic, and I hope to see this conflict ended quickly to prevent even more loss.” Chancellor Palpatine started. “On a different note, the Night saw the passing of my Senate Order, Double Time!”

Double Time
Throughout the duration of Day 2 every player with an unaltered vote weight of 1 will have a vote weight of 2.
Players who already have an altered vote weight coming into Day 2 will keep their altered vote as is. For example, if your vote is already worth 2 then it will remain as 2.

To Lynch
There are currently 14 players alive in the game, therefore a majority of 8 is required to lynch.

Day 2 will end on Thursday the 8th of December at 6:30am AEST time.

Night Updates will be sent out to the relevant players straight away.

@quakingpunch73 has been having account issues and will be on V/LA until things can be sorted.
