Wiggler <3 Good choice...good choice. Queen Bee is the weirdest choice I've seen...it's like putting snake in SSB...that would be weird...oh wait

Wiggler was my favorite character in Mario Tennis on the GC :D...not to get weirdly off topic.

So when I read Wiggler the first thing that came to mind was that yellow worm dude. After google searching his name....that IS Wiggler! Wow I wonder how he's going to look on a kart. If Mario Kart DS was any indication, he doesn't even need a kart! :p Yeah, pretty shocking.

As for Queen Bee, I had to do another google search. Yikes... why did they choose this? I havn't played the Galaxy games but it sure seems like Galaxy is getting a lot of love.
 
Queen Bee is one of the most obscure characters to use...she is in 1 level for like 10 seconds...nothing more. Why not someone from Paper Mario :3

Nintendo has rights to Sonic, right? Why not include the sprightly hedgehog, he would surely bring attention and revenue from the sonic fanbase.
 
The reason why Sonic isn't used is the same reason Pikachu or Link isn't used. It's MARIO Kart.
But yeah, Queen Bee is kinda dumb haha.
 
Has anyone here played Super Mario Galaxy Queen Bee is really big (humongous to say the least) wouldn't they need to shrink her down to size in order for her to not take up road space for the other kart drivers.Wow this is really weird but also really random to me.

That is why Sonic isn't in there...

Queen Bee still is just weird to me...it's as random as ROB was in Mario Kart DS lol
 
Wiggler is cool, but queen bee is a bit weird... Oh Well! Still looking forward to this game!
 
I think IGN is talking about this page from Nintendo Power.

The page mentions several secret characters. It then shares Wiggler, Queen Bee, Shy Guy, Lakitu and Metal Mario, as well as Mii. However, it doesn't mention Daisy, Wario or Rosalina. So it isn't quite spoiling all of them.

Although it certainly is possible that we'll see more.
 
:3 Anti-Guy xD. I like the choice of Shy Guy...but why Lakitu? WHO IS GONNA HOLD THE FINAL LAP SIGN AND TELL US TO GO AT THE BEGINNING?!?! I will never be able to leave the starting line because we wouldn't get a green light ;_;.

Not to mention the fact that nobody will warn us when we are driving in the opposite direction. :(

Yeah but the Lakitu who counts down to start the race has a green shell the one who was revealed has a red one so there obviously not the same Lakitu's.
 
I can't believe they took out Waluigi. I mean, the Mario spin-offs are his games! He's been in most (probably all, I don't know) mario spin-offs since his debut. And Queen Bee? Seriously, Nintendo? I am actually mad at Nintendo for this.

Also, why's this turning into Diddy Kong Racing?! Underwater racing and air-racing? Honestly, what the heck? Wasn't Lakitu's point in the Mario Kart games to save drowning karts or something? I'm even mad at the name. Mario Kart 7? Why not Mario Kart 3DS?

I just hope the next installation's better.

In Mario Kart Wii, I've unlocked Bowser Jr after school today :D

Hmmmm Waluigi has yet to have his own game xD. Queen Bee is just a dumb choice...I would rather like....Kammy Koopa xD
