Metagame Expectations for Cities

Look, im never going to admit that. Even if it were true. I just wouldnt.

2 seasons ago when the EX series was allowed, I took second place at a cities event with Salamence EX. Ever since then, salamence has just been a great card and deck to me for personally reasons.

I love dragons too, so flygon is great. I just value salamence as better.

THey can both kill each other with little effort.

Quetion; If salamence Lv X had free retreat, would you still call it bad?

yeah well 2 cities ago means nothing now :)

and yes Mence would still suck even with free retreat

Fine, how about this; How about we stop arguing about sallamence and flygon for now? Lets just wait and see what happens over time. Ok?

How about no, until you admit Salamence is inferior.

Im going to ignore that.
Ahahahaha

As for building a Flygon deck, why change somthing that is perfect as is? So no, I wont use the SW one.
Because you don't seem to know what u r doing.

Let me propose a new topic.

What Flygon variant should I use? Hmmm? Which one is best and why?

How about...no. If Salamence is so superior, why not just use it instead of building fly cuz u know it's superior?
EDIT: Galefail; I am not annoyed with you. You were not flaming so your still cool. You others (glares) were being....(bites tongue) imature I suppose.
Immature! Not not even close!. It's just that you can't seem to take an argument. Obviously I bashed you this time, it's just that you don't get it. LOL

EDIT: I agree with Dr. E

Well Mr Empoleon. You started it. If you look back on page 5, you would notice that I was merely stating how my day with that deck went. THen you started the arguement.

Fine. Salamence is not better. BUT, its not inferior either.

Mr.empoleon? its DR.empoleon to you Grr :/

And yes u stated that Flygon lost to something horrible like SW mence! How is that even possible?

Oops. Sorry. Really, I thought it was Mr. my bad.

How is that possible? Well, you yourself said the players must be bad. So you answered your own quetsion.

Too bad your day was against Mediocre decks, and an obviously good matchup against Champ. And it's sad tht you can't admit Fly is better either :/

Umm actually Chanman said it was bad opponents i just said that they 2 decks shouldent even play cause Flygon would just murder it

Im not calling myself a bad player. It takes SOME Skill to place second at Cities. No?

Flygon is better for now.

Thats the most you'l get out of me.

Oh, come on. Me making a flygon deck isnt good enought?

Well actually winning 4 cities takes SOME skill :)

and actually Flygon is 10093348% better then Mence :)

If it's like a 5 person city's, then no

Are you guys going to stop questioning my skill as a player any time soon?

FINE, FLYGON IS BETTER!!!!!
HAPPY NOW?

Now can we move on?

Come on guys. It's just a children's card game. Why so serious? :D

I personally expect Blazeray to do well in this format. With stuff like Spiritomb, a lot of people are gonna play stage two decks, which Blazeray has a pretty good advantage against due to its insane speed and power. Of course, the deck will be slowed down if they can't use any Trainers, but the fact that they can manipulate the bench makes Spiritomb not as big of a threat. What do you guys think?

thank you very much sir! :)

Wow, this is an arguement lol, yeah I've hardly ever won any tournaments but I don't consider myself a terrible player, anyway, Blazeray is ok in the format, but Blaze is fast but only useful in certain situations.

To be fair, if you are building Mence the same way as Flygon, you have a problem.

Salamence has a lot of potential, and a lot of ways to end up a game in an instant, I can honestly see it at top tables.

Flygon, is just techable, after all it gives EVERYTHING, free retreat, which is what makes it great.

Which is better for the Meta? Flygon, only because of the sheer amount of options it has to it. However, let's not count Salamence out, it will be attacking for 0-2 energy for most of the time.

This thread better shape up real quick. I don't want to see any more insults.

i can not see blazeray winning any cities this year, or really any stock sps doing really well for that matter.

I don't believe BlazeRay will win anything...and be highly suprised if it does...as for the Flygon vs Salamence "debate"...really when it boils down to it, so long as both decks are of a good build, it will come down to the players to decide which deck wins...both decks have high damage capacities, and really which ever deck gets the jump on the other will win...unless there are misplays, but either way that still goes back to the players

decks I won't be surprised to see:

Palkia Lock Legos
SP Toolbox Variants
Uxie-ruption
Shuppet-rush
Flygon Variants
Salamence
Gengar Variants
Garchomp Variants
Charizard Fire Swarm
Kingdra (in limited numbers)
Tangrowth Variants (laughable, but still will show)
Beedrill
Gyarados
