Yes, one of your best so far. Couldn't you find a picture with a tiger like that but with the mouth open? That would make it ... just amazing as it would seem like the tiger is exerting the flames from the mouth. Actually the corners seem a bit too bright for me. Maybe a tiny bit of color burning would do the trick.

Thanks, glad you and the others like it! The visual element is meant to resemble a clock, but...that's just what I'm not satisfied with. To me it looks too abstract.

I was going to use a moon shape at first...would you guys like something like that better?

Also, PFJ, that's some nice work there! Did you use any brushes for it or is it all C4Ds?
 
Haha when you said PFJ I was scrolling up to see l who you were talking about but then realized you were talking to me and felt dumb :p

For my tiger one? Nope neither of the above :p. It is actually made from many nebulae stocks. Of course I didnt just place them there. It takes a while to place them right and erase what I didn't need. You see it is too easy to overdo these stocks set on linear dodge/screen because they get very bright so I had to be subtle in what I did so when I added effects I always had to erase what overlayed the previous effects because it makes random very bright patches. And also the original stock had water coming out from under the tiger because it jumped in water so I decided to incorporate the flow from the water into my effect as you can still hopefully see on the left there is still that spalsh showing and my effects kind of flowing with it.
So yeah now my secret isn't so secret aha

I'll be making a new one will better visuals pretty soon. In the meantime, I was wondering, does anyone here use brushes to create their signatures at all? I for one never used C4D's back when I was big on sig making. I always used brushes--and I happen to know a few useful tips on working with them in Photoshop. I could make up a tutorial if anyone would be interested.
 
yeah brushes aren't very popular among the more advanced photoshop users because it is too basic. However some brushes such as splatters and the soft brushes are used pretty regularly but brushes like abstract ones aren't used because as I said they are too basic and seen as nooby.

Yes definitely not your best.
Your lighting needs a lot of work. It's slapped on and not really thought about. Try to focus your lighting in brightened area's of your signature, also you should stop using a normal soft brush as your light source. It's boring and to be honest, doesn't really look at all appealing.
The effects are dull which is pretty unusual for you.
However the colours match nicely as always
 
Eh, brushes are used far more often in a professional environment. Especially simpler, vector-based ones. Besides, by tweaking things in the brushes panel, you'd be surprised what you could could come up with.

That said, I'd like to know what you guys think of some of my older works. Did these years ago, long before I ever got into vectoring. Aleph was the name I commonly used back then.

The image is a bit blurry Pokemaister. Good overall but the stripes in truth gives me pain in the eyes. Maybe blur the stripes a bit.

The Slogan Contest obviously wasn't hit so I'll take that down. Rather than putting my own idea out there again, what you guys rather do as a clan event- if there be one at all?

Also I'm loving all the works posted, as for my critique I mainly agree with those critiques from everyone.
