When you go away, we get out the disco ball and party. It's a thing. :p

Anyways, the profile fields have been trimmed up. There was way too much stuff there. If anyone has any profile fields they want to see and legitimately good reasons why they should be there, let me know.

I am hosting an AMA tomorrow around 8 PM CST. What is the preferred medium? Either chat room or skype.

SR have I ever told you that I love you

So much for favorite quotations and all of those other cute little profile fields. I've seen some pretty creative uses for them, but honestly, all of that stuff can go in the biography section anyways, for quick reference.

Also, chat sounds like a better idea, PMJ. Might just be personal preference, though.

I know right.

By the time I'd come back we'd have Holy Star back.

NO

I was told to buy salt, thread, needle, holy water, silver bullets, and wooden stakes. I believe my superiors have a plan?!

The plan is that you are going to end up killing a vampire and use his skin as fabric.
Try Ghirahim; I hear he's fabulooooooooooooous~

...okay I think this topic has been exhausted if I'm making a response like this.

Given how Skype has a terrible interface and only about 5% of the 'Beach actually uses it, chat is by far the superior option.

I'd say so. Skype only allows for 24 people in a group. Not that we'll exceed that, but it's a restriction that's there. Plus, Skype is only really really needed if voice calls will be made; as seen with the Community Skype, unless a lot of preparation is made, it won't work at all. Primarily, there would just be a lot of backround noise. That can be avoided with push-to-talk, yes, but that's a thing that has to be set up. IRC can be daunting, but Skype can also be to those who have never touched it.

So maybe we should improve the accesibility of the chat like I recommended? :D

Are you quite sure? The (unofficial) Beach Skype has 27 people in it, possibly more in the past.
However, Skype and IRC both have IM potential. I just prefer IRC because it looks a lot cleaner and it's a lot easier to enforce rules. (For example, you cannot really set +m on a Skype room so you can have the floor without interruptions.)

I think he means in a call. I know you can definitely have more than 24 in a chat.
