money for a kid

Oh! Another way to play the game with minimal investment is to test the deck *before* you make it. You don't have to have the cards to try out a deck--use proxy cards in place of the ones you don't have, and play the deck that way! Right now, I'm trying to figure out if I've saved myself from spending $60 on Garchomps, or if I'm going to need a playset before the week is through (I'm presently checking "FluffyChomp").

Obviously, it doesn't help you much for playing in tournaments, but then you can figure out what you like first and THEN go out and buy/trade for the cards!

You know, I pulled MY Mewtwo-EX{C}{C}X-Ball 20x by getting the zekrom pack when I tried to find a Mewtwo pack. Yep, the Zekrom pack

Ummm, what does that have to do with my post?
I was dicussing weight, not art.

Pulling by weight is a prohibited topic at PB.

Yeah I know, that is why I stopped.

But anyways, get the tins and go to the prereleases, they WILL save you money.

Are you talking about the Rayquaza/mewtwo/darkrai tins?
If not, they are kind of a waste of money if you just want the promo.
Just get singles.
