RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I Recommend Forest Gump, to the older people group. It is a good movie, and has a great story to it, with a lovable character with a story that takes a while to tell.

YES, Thor! You guys might as well get used to Superhero movies toping the charts. Here's some upcoming productions, to name a few:

*Captain America
*The Avengers
*Green Lantern
*Spider-Man 4
*X-Men First Class
*Daredevil (Remake)
*The Dark Knight Rises

And, possibly, Iron Man 3 and another X-men origins movie. Also, I couldn't help but giggle at your description of Hobo with a Shotgun, omahanime. And a question: Is bridesmaids pretty much the chick-flick version of the hangover? I'm wanting to see it, but I would hate to waste money on a bad comedy.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is an awesome movie.I loved the 3d effects and I would recommended it to everyone

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I really didn't like POTC On Strager Tides. For one, it didn't have Will or Elizabeth, and yes, the 3D must have been great (I didn't see it in 3D) and Jack Sparrow was awesome comedy, but really, I think it was more like an epilogue than a real addition to the series. Out of ten, it deserved a six. I also think the duel and fight scenes were a little bland and boring. But that's not to say you shouldn't go see it. Everyone has their own opinion, I didn't like it, but i'm a kid on a pokemon fansite, so you can take my word for it or go see it for yourself. I say go for it!

Everyone is going to see the Hangover Part Two. EVERYONE. I just know it.

I can't wait for Kung Fu Panda 2.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Sorry to say, but I'm going to skip the Hangover. I'm one of the few people who didn't enjoy part I. I liked it, but not enough to make me go watch a second part/movie with the same concept. For sure going to Pirates. I want to go for almos two weeks now and I still didn't.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I'm going to go watch a movie with some friends, and we have our choice down to Thor or Pirates of the Caribbean 4. I have heard great things about Thor but was wondering if the new pirates is any good. Can any of you recommend which one I should see? Obviously, I'll take all opinions, but I'd like to hear from those of you who may have seen both. Thanks.
