I've been hearing great things about Super 8 so far. I can't wait to be surprised because of the intentional small amount of details given out.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I just recently took my girlfriend to see Super 8. It looked like an old 70's Spielberg film. This will definitely be J.J. Abrams's ticket to an award. It was his first real movie. I think he helped with Cloverfield, which I thought was o.k. at best. I give Super 8 a 4.5/5. It was overly loud in the theater for my taste, buy maybe it's just me. Best movie I have seen in a while.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I was pleasantly disappointed with the majority of it. The homage ended up being a pretty bad ripoff IMO.

dmaster out.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

Harry Potter...nuff said. Any potter-freaks out there? lol. I'm looking forward to it even though its the last movie(at least what's they want you to think. Pottermore?)

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I'm a full blown Potter person. I've been ever since the first book came out. Kind of like those Twi people. ._. lol

I'm of course seeing the Movie at Midnight like I did with all the others. I'm so sad it's ending.

dmaster out.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I'd go to midnight release but a certain someone in my family is very uptight about stuff(random stuff even) and can't go sadly..If I could, I'd go in wizard's robes.

RE: Movie Discussion Thread II

I saw X-Men First Class and it was really good. I've been impressed with all the movies, and this one did not disappoint. The plot was really good, it made me feel sorry for Magneto. It also explained about some things in earlier movies (which are sequels to this) and it makes those scenes deeper, especially the third one with the plot about "The Cure". There was also a good Wolverine cameo too lol.
