Still want to see something that's within Dashie's character. All other pets are within their owner's character, why must Rainbow be the black sheep of the group?

Twilight= Spike
Rarity= Opal
Fluttershy= Everything
Applejack= That dog
Pinkie= Gummy?

Actually Fluttershy has Angel, the bunny. And Applejack is Wionna.

Gummy is Pinkie's pet. I think a good Season 2 episode or a good flashback would be how every pony met their pets.

Of course this should be after Rainbow gets her pet, and she'd probably be excluded from the episode/flashback as we'll know how she got her pet.

episode four

for someone complaining earlier: the whole point of Luna's character was that she was antiquated. obviously she would use the royal we, being royalty and all.

it was a good episode. Shame about no Rarity.

I kinda liked this episode even though Rarity wasn't in it. Looks like they went with the clueless Luna canon approach but they still didn't say anything about where she was this whole time.

I liked the spider terrorizing. HOW MANY POINTS DO I RECEIVE? :D

That episode has to be one of my favorites. Pinkie Pie has a chicken and Fluttershy yelling that "There's no candy here! GO AWAY!" Love that episode.

Shadowbolt Rainbow Dash was the best. She was like a "Rainbow in the Dark". (Anypony get the reference?)

I never thought that I would see the day this thread got unlocked. Words cannot express my happiness. I agree that Shadowbolt Rainbow Dash was great, but she needed more screen time. I think the reason Rarity wasn't in the episode is because the next episode is going to be very Rarity/Sweeite Bell heavy.

I think Rainbow didn't have much screentime because she was too busy pranking everypony.

Oh, and about Rarity, I remember seeing something with Lauren Faust and a member on dA talking about the episode and why Rarity wasn't in it. "Rarity was busy making her costume for the festival. And there was a cut scene from the episode with Rarity, Luna and Twilight and Rarity attempted to fit Luna in a pink dress to make her appearance less frightening."

I remember seeing it somewhere, but just can't remember where. My brain is full of pony.

I hope we get to see more of Luna. She got like, five minutes of screen time in season 1.
And i dug up an old Rainbow Dash from when I was somewhere around six years old.
Wow. I can't believe i still have it.

I really liked this episode. Pinkie Pie was great. Nightmare Moon is eating *insert name here*. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! I didn't really like Luna's voice but it was cool seeing her grown up a little.

Aanyway, I'm kinda new to MLP here but so far I love Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
Did anyone see that video, Ashleigh Ball's Message to the Bronies?
I'm so surprised that the voice actors would be so thankful and accepting to the bronies. I feel so loved! I'm so glad the voice actors accept us. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

I enjoyed watching Pinkie Pie terrify that crowd of children like 6 times :p
I can see where they got the idea to make Luna talk in ridiculous outdated english, since she had been exiled for 1,000 years, but I still really disliked it. This episode was thin on plot I think, and Luna's early modern english was kinda making me sick. I am going to rewatch it later, I will probably appericiate it more, but I wasn't very impressed with this episode the first time I watched it. Nice to see Zecora again, I forgot about her.

I fixed the stupid miss uses of the term "old english." It's funny, because my English teacher explained the difference on Thursday using Beowulf as an example...

it wasn't old english, it was early modern english.

for comparison:
