My 5 favorite episodes so far are:
  • Sister Hooves Social
  • The Last Roundup
  • Hearth's Warming Eve
  • Lesson Zero
  • Read it and Weep

I feel that all around the season has been strong. There are probably a couple episodes that I am forgetting. Luna Eclipsed was my least favorite episode, I was a Luna fan until that episode as a matter of fact. Ah. "Huzzah, how many points do I receive?" is a great line though.

Finale Discussion

While I dislike DJ Pon3 as a character, I am glad she is making an appearance. It is going to make her fandom much less stale to say the least. There is only so much you can do with 2 seconds of footage.

FINALLY got a chance to watch this episode. Like some others, I thought Pinkie had sleepnommed the cake, especially when Twilight figured out right away who actually did it.

> create a card that boosts non-ponies' damage
> lament over lack of non-ponies
> get two more in the next episode

Possible explanations for Big Mac struggling to carry a cake:

- the cake is a _lot_ heavier than it looks
- the CMC's love potion granted him extreme strength
- the house was actually pretty light :x

The little video clip has gotten me more intrigued with the Royal Wedding two-parter, even though most of it was plugging the various special games and activities on Hubworld for the special episodes.

Dunno if anyone saw this yet, but someone managed to decompile an image of DJ-PON3 from the wedding website. Even though her eyes were closed in the actual image, she was compiled with fully rendered magenta eyes. While this is not completely confirmed, as they could have been using a prior-made pony model (such as Rainbow Dash's), I think it's safe to say that this is canon.

And, I hate the .MOV series, I'm not a fan of them at all.

for once, I agree with Rainbow Dash. not a fan of .MOV, though I'll probably watch this one so I can complain about it, and also so TFO doesn't have to, because that's just how it works.

I can't wait for the first part of the Royal Wedding episodes. This is the first episode I'm actually amped up to see all of Season 2.

I honestly hate .MOV as well, and I was kind of disturbed by the amount of people who thought Shed.MOV deserved 1st place in the top 10 brony YT videos of whenever on Equestria Daily.

I am in full agreement. I also hate the animation. It's funny, I extremely dislike most types of animation, MLP FiM has almost the only kind I can stand.

I'm a fan of MLP: FiM music videos or series mash-ups between MLP: FiM and other shows.
