ok fine. My sister used to play with the dolls and might still have one or two. I thought they were stupid at first and for girls. Then my friend who reffered me,Robot3300 said, i have this awesome thread i wanna show you and he showed me and i started watching the show and converted to bronyism and here i am

I got into the show because I'd seen it a bit on 4chan and then this thread popped up. I noticed that KYM had the first episode up and decided to watch it.

We should all get back on topic now. Ponies ponies ponies. I actually discovered the show from this thread when it first opened, but I haven't posted since, like, yesterday.

how is talking about how awesome the parodies are not staying on topic? it's still pony related. and the "(insert pony here) is my favorite" is actually what they've said multiple times is not what they want to see. when did this turn into a "I got into MLP because/when" thread? that is way too limiting and would result in two posts per user max. that is limiting the discussion more so than it just being a favorites thread because favorites can change, how you got into it can't.

where is this post that made the direction be a how you got into MLP? as far as I know this was just about how awesome MLP is. fanart/parodies included, as the artist knows the fanbase and is well aware of all the fanart and does fanservice like Derpy hooves.

I saw the mod's post, and I agree with the stopping of the "should this be locked or not posts" the pictures thing, I agree with partly. if you have art that you made, post away. don't just keep posting the same picture of rarity with the caption "deal with it" post new pics man. nobody wants to see the same thing over and over again.

I say we change the topic of how you got into MLP asap though. I really like where the thread was with PMJ's pony cards. it was awesome.
maybe we could talk about the direction we would like to see the show go. that has lots of potential =)

What did you guys do to make a bunch of super mods angry at you? Didn't we go through this in the very beginning with the green mods?

Posting pictures is fine, but be sure to throw some legit conversation in there too. What did you like about season 1? Uhhh more pairing stuff I guess? Read any cool pony stories lately? It's understandable that because we're between seasons there's not a whole lot to talk about but... y'know... try.

That's the thing, no one has invaded any threads, we don't lnow what we did. But we do need legit conversation.

I've been reading Fallout Equestria. It's a crossover of Fallout, I'm liking it, and it's getting a decent amount of art of the characters in it. It's brutal at times, since it is a fallout crossover, and if you played them, you'd know what to expect.

Pairings- Still don't have one, but I d'awwed at a lot of them.

I've fallen behind on the Equestria Daily's midnight draw thing too. I didn't like the Trixie theme they went with yesterday, but today's theme is vague enough to work with more. But I just gotta go back and do something for the Trixie theme, and I still need to finish up the one before that. It really is helping my skill though, this newbie challenge thing is fun too.

If they closed this thread, idk what I'd do. I mean, this thread has had HUGE discussion, and if they closed this, I'd probably quit. The way people run things would be too strict.

OK, so pairings. If Derpy wasn't in the picture, I love a lot of pairings with Rainbow Dash, mainly Rainbow/Fluttershy and Rainbow/Applejack.

Anyways, I'm liking Rainbow/Fluttershy and other Fluttershy pairings(She is my fav), so I'm closer to finding my OTP! And discovering my cutie mark

Also, anyone else been reading any good stories. I've only got Fallout Equestria, and I've burned through a lot of shipping ones. Anyone have a good read?

Okay guys, I got a question for ya, why do YOU like the show? 'Cause whenever I try to explain to people why I love the show so much I'm like, "Well it's good 'cause um... it is. And there's a lot of... good things in it. Umm... Ponies?"
And furthermore: Why do you like your favorite pony so much?
I know Fluttershy is my waifu- Erm, really cool because she's freakin' adorable.

Yeah, she is so adorable(one reason right there.)

Okay, I have a few reasons why. One, it has some awesome characters. These ponies don't mess around. Plus, it is nothing like the crap storm of other kid shows filling up everywhere, it doesn't mock the audience's intelligence, and it is watchable for any age(which they hoped for, and obviously succeed) Two, the relation between people on the show and bronies. These people hang with fans on sites, they do random Q & As, share inside stuff, and they just love bronies! I mean Equestrian Girls was made for us(ok, made with us in mind maybe :p)! Three, the fan work is also nothing like I've seen, so much art and fanfiction, and how a single background pony becomes a character as true as the main cast for people!

In short, it's awesome and really fun.

ANYWAY.

I love this show for the following reasons:
  • I <3 animation.
  • I am incredibly girly. (derp)
  • IT IS SO ADORABLE JESUS CHRIST I CAN'T EVEN DEAL WITH IT
  • The characterization is perfect
  • The community is amazing. I'm serious, it's the best fandom I've ever been a part of. Better than Sonic (way better than the Sonic fandom), better than Kingdom Hearts, even better than the Pokemon fandom. Everyone is so nice and understanding, there is almost no bashing of characters...it's amazing. I love it. I LOVE YOU GUYS
GIVE ME A HUG, ALL OF YOU. YOU TOO PMJ.

And I think the two of you are right, not only is the show amazing, but the fandom is what seals the deal. Having good company (comPONY) to discuss what you like with is, like, the most amazing fantasticness that ever awesomed.

So, in order to make MLP last longer I have been pacing myself in watching it. That said I just finished episode 23. SOLID AMAZING. Fluttershy got a song!!! :D :D :D Not to mention was still super cute... But also very awesome episode!
