just wait till zenith sees this threat against the thread....

OK time to get serious and discuss

i watch the show because well...its better than anything else out there. and the characters are linear instead of all over the place such as in like spongebob or um.....johnny test. pinkie pie is a partyer, twilight is the smart one, rarity is fashion, fluttershy is quiet yet when it comes to it she is the meanest and most intimmidating person ever, applejack is the loyal one, rainbowdash is just...awesome and brave. and they dont stray from that

the second reason i love this show so much is that its consistant. example in the second episode when the dragon lost his moustache and rarity cut her own tail to help him...she didnt haver her tail the rest of that episode. its not like they just got lazy and just have her the same she was last scene. its very constant and dig its self a hole

a third reason is that its very nice art. its very easy to look at and is fun to watch....also this show is just as adult as it is kids. what kid would get an alice in wonderland reference, or any other reference they put in.

also i joined cause of this thread. i saw DNA get mad at all the bronies so i just kept coming back and coming back then lordy posted a link to watch the most recent episode (Party of One) and i watched it and fell in love

I watch the show because the characters are well written and the occasional "Why am I watching this again?" laughs

Hahaha, just finished the season (*cries deeply*). Best line ever: "YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE MEEE!!!" that was so great, even if it was entirely out of character for her xD
...Okay, letting it sink in... AAAAAAAND I'm going into pony withdraw! D:

^i just finished watching the whole season a second time last night :p

its worth the rewatch. you pick up on alot of things you didnt notice before...like pinkie pie lines

"And twilight...i recommend that you don't HIT the books and just read them" one of my faves :p

Surprisingly hard to draw though. Either Faust had some secret ingredient in the ponies making their faces surprisingly hard to nail down on art, or I'm suffering pony-artblock

I still can't believe that Twilight is voiced by Tara Strong (A well known Voice-actor) she also did Cheer Bear in some of the Nelvana Episodes of the Care Bears

I know whatcher talkin' about XieRH. I have begun my pony portfolio of sorts, and they are tough little critters. I started with Pinkie Pie who, for some reason, was really easy for me to draw. However my attempts at Twilight and Applejack were later met with much more difficulty... I fear for drawing the more complex ponies now xD But it is a challenge that I accept!

Also, I may take y'all's advice and rewatch the season. I kinda wanna wait for a lil' more pony withdraw first, but I can betcha (Wait...Spell check says "betcha" is a word?) it'll happen soon.

^wait a week or two...then when you just cant take it anymore start over.

i tried to doodle applejack on one of my pages of notes...its really hard to draw these ponies....and the fact that i cant draw

It is hard to draw Ponies because you can't capture that innocence. Also @ Zenith, I caught that line in the Ticket Master, it is such a weird line, but it made me laugh, that's Pinkie Pie for ya'.

The results of the poll show that Applejack and Rarity are the least-loved ponies on this site (shame on all of you). Rainbow Dash is most-loved which is weird considering how not-cute she is but to each his own.

Using my phenomenal cosmic powers I should be able to delete the poll.

The reason I like Rainbow Dash the most is because of her personality, not really how cute she is >.<

eh i still think that rainbow dash was meant to be a man lol. the writters were making the pilot saying "OH OH and we will have this awesome guy colt that can fly and is really fast and is a role model for all the ponies."

Lauren bursts in "OH YA make all the main characters girls, its a girls show anyway, no guys will be watching"

writers: -_-..."ummm keep that character just make him a girl"

i imagine it went something like that :p

My favorite line so far (from the Griffen episode):

Pinkie Pie: "Don't worry! Auntie Pinky Pie has this all under control!"
Fluttershy: "I'm a year older than you."

I've really grown to love Fluttershy. My new pony ratings:
1) Applejack <3
2) Fluttershy
3) Rainbow Dash
4) Rarity
5) Pinkie Pie
6) Twilight Sparkle

I absolutely love this show because the characters seem real and anyone can relate to them. They actually have personalities and the show is vibrant and somewhat inspiring. This thread (and seeing DNA) is the only reason I still come to PokeBeach~

Before I watched the show, my favorite was Twilight Sparkle just because I liked the way she looked >.<

Now, I have watched the show and my 3 favorite ponies are Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.

If I could've voted again I would've voted for Rarity. I didn't care for her until the episode where she got captured by the dogs. Afterwards she became tied with Pinkie Pie for second favorite character.

How about best to look forward to season two? It's been confirmed Luna will have a episode of her own(may have more appearances as well), two more more episodes this time around, and Derpy is now an official character.

I know there's more too, but I can't remember what else has been revealed.

Trixie's the unicorn we love to hate. I tried to reflect this in her card by playing to her strengths (trickery and being a douche) rather than give her the raw power of the other ponies.

Sure, she can do 90 for 1, but with a 25% success rate, odds are Trixie will be made the fool if she attempts it. And if you're annoyed by anyone who gets 2 heads, well... my job is done. :]

I don't really like Trixie that much but I think her card turned out nicely. Only three more to go!
