Makes me wish I had more time and budget to work on my Big Macintosh costume.

DA does indeed have good comics, MadMax has some of the best.

Hey guys, who is up for a conspiracy theory? Ok lets take a look at Twilight Sprakle's parents.

Her dad is a kinda of dark bluish color and a interesting cutie mark involving a moon, her mom is a creamy white color with a wicked light purple striped mane and stars for a cutie mark. Now here we go, lets take a look at the "Great and Powerful Trixie"

Same color as Twilight's dad, stars on her cape, a slightly darker color than the purple in Twilight's mom's mane. White mane, magical powers. And in the brief few seconds where you see her cutie mark, you may notice the it also has a crescent moon, but instead of it having another moon like Twilight's dad, it has a wand, tipped with a star. Case solved, Trixie is Twilight Sprakle's Sister.

I believe Twilight's mother was actually based off/an homage of her (Twilight's) old design from the original series. Well, at least her mane coloration and cutie mark.

That's one thing a majority of us should know by now actually lol.

Twilight Tinkle WAS the base for Twilight Sparkle's design. However they are still both two different characters.

Though that's not what the discussion here is haha...

I do believe in the "Trixie is Twilight's lost sister" thing though. If ya think about it, why did they entrust magic so much into Twilight Sparkle? Because she had more of a positive atmosphere. Either that or Trixie got abducted most of their life and they placed hopes in Twilight.
