^ IF I have them at my store, I can snag a few and send you one! My store is a newer store so I will be very surprised if we have them in yet.. T-T We are just now getting some of the last wave of MLP merchandise like the huge babies and the travel set ones.

Hello, I'm Artemis, and I'm a relatively new Pegasis. I just started watching the show with my fiancé recently when someone ran an MLP:FiM themed Mafia game on another forum I belong to. I'm all through the first season and starting on the second. I probably would have powered through it by now if it weren't for the fact that we want to watch it together and there aren't many times that we can at the moment. I'm much more into it than he is, but we both enjoy it.
I'm really disappointed with the merch in our area; doesn't seems like many places around have much of anything, which makes me sadfaced. I guess they'll restock after S3 comes out. And it's probably for the best anyway, since the last thing I need is EVEN MORE toys that I need to drag with me when I move across the pond.
I do have 2 smallish ponies, though (Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle) and a few of the mini figs, including an awesome glow in the dark Rarity. I also got a special MLP designed by Junko Mizuno for the 25th MLP anniversary a few years ago. I'm kind of obsessed with the mini figs, even though I can hardly find any around here, though I do have a case of them on the way that I ordered online because I am a terrible person with no self control. Between those and all the little Pokémon finger puppets that I have currently all over my desk I've have enough figures for the awesomest diorama.

I don't really collect them, I have no use for them, and I think they're still plastic junk that Hasbro's trying to pawn off on people. I can respect the fact that other bronies enjoy them, but I don't. Especially when they've done something as unforgiveable as Pinklestia, that just proves that they're trying to make a cheap cash in on the whole pretty pink princess thing. I know the series is still first and foremost for little girls, but for the love of God, can you please try to make the toys look remotely like they do on the show?

I do agree with you on how a lot of the figures don't match up to the show, though. When I first saw Pinklestia, I thought it was just a character I hadn't seen in the show yet. I spent a good amount of time flipping my Fluttershy's hair to match her usual style, and at some point I know I'll grab scissors and a straightener to try and clean up Twilight. Though, I do think that's one of the things I like most about the mini figs, they do look like the characters.
And, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro started making more generally appealing toys. After all, who has more disposable income: teenage to 20-something guys or little girls? >_>

It's not that simple. First of all, there's still more little girls interested in the show than bronies. Second, even if our demographic does have more money to burn, we're a lot more discerning than little girls, and the little girls can pretty much just beg their parents for any money they'd need.

I love toys ;P Im not gonna lie! Its fun to go to toy stores and im not at all embarrassed. I barely had any as a kid so its nice to see what it feels like to buy them at the store even though I dont actually 'play' with them lololol. My apt is horribly bare so some shelves with nice things on them I like make it feel more like home plus if or when I ever have a child ( if its a girl) I could have something truly awesome to pass down as EVERY girl in my entire family LOVES MLP from the very first season ( but not so much the third lolololol ) My aunt and mom have some pretty cool ponies from the 70's I have never seen before. Id love to share the same experience with my future little one. LOL I also want the new furby or just buy the baby ones-im not gonna lie it would be awesome to creep out my husband with it ^-^
I wanna try to pick up one of those white ones today if my spouse will lemme -_- I just spent some of my bonus on a lot of blind bag figures. yaaayyy I now have a few of wave 2&4 plus all of wave 1! xD I recently found MLP:FIM TRADING CARDS!!!! They were $1.99 at Walmart!!! pppssshhh but not my work walmart... seriously I had a little talk with my manager about not having MLP products... It makes me SO mad they wont order any and think about all the customers my store could have!? I could meet local Pegasis/ Brony customers to possibly make some new local friends 0_o but no. Apparently legos and leapfrog are more important. Its possible they wont order any mlp products at our store anymore. uugghhhghghgh. frustration.
