Media My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

If Rarity were a Gym Leader, I doubt she'd specialize in any one type. So giving her a Mienshao is okay. :>

That would be problematic. It'd be better if we could fit one type to each of their teams. The only exception is Pinkie, since using multiple types fits her erratic nature, and having more than one multitype gym leader doesn't really feel right.

And even though Gigalith's body is full of gems, I don't know if she would use one simply because it isn't pretty.

I don't think she'd be that shallow.

She could use animal based grass types.

Yeah, all 3 of them.

There aren't enough animal based Grass types to fit a team for her, and many of them are starters and otherwise rare Pokemon. A large majority of Grass types are plants, so it wouldn't really make sense for Fluttershy to specialize in Grass types. What about Bug types though? I can kind of see her using them, although I will say Normal fits her better.

Twilight will use Alakazam, Metagross and other smart pokemanz,

Exactly what I was thinking. Also, Psychic types fit her in particular since Psychic is the closest equivalent to magic in the Pokemon universe. The team I picked out for her suits her pretty well, IMO.

EDIT: I think I've finally figured something out. How about:

Fluttershy- Bug
Rarity- Normal
Applejack- Ground
Pinkie Pie- Multitype
Rainbow Dash- Flying
Twilight- Psychic

Less than 1 week left.

Time for some Source Filmmaker to pass the time, which after all these months I still have no idea how to use.

Dear Disney:

Is nothing sacred?
~
They cannot. They just simply cannot. Isn't Marvel and Star Wars enough for you? This is getting just plain greedy.

IKR? It's like every day they're proving Niban-Destikim more and more right.

Lucasfilm was fine, but Hasbro has a special kind of relationship with the fans that Disney might not understand.

I would make Rarity Water leader, that's where most of the fancy Mons come from.

I hope the suggestions of Pinkie being a "Normal" type were intended to be ironic haha

I'd make Pinkie Bug personally, just seems to fit to me.

Pinkie bug type seems good.
Twilight would definitely be psychic type.
Maybe this is just me, but when I think of the deck Vileplume/Gengar I think of Twilight as Gengar and Trixie as Vileplume.
Oh also Scootaloo would be lighning type for sure.

^This. Except the Lucasfilm part pisses me off still, but whatever. The bigger topic is:

Two days.

FORESHADOWING LIKE A BAMF

I didn't like how the episode ended without specifying those "advanced studies" Twilight is supposed to be learning now.

I think it was supposed to be a cliffhanger of sorts. I enjoyed these episodes, even if the songs were a bit lackluster and the villain was somewhat lacking - although it was kind of neat that the villain was more a force than a character. also, crystal ponies are pretty.

Why in Celestia's name did they feel the need to make this "advanced studies" business a cliffhanger? I feel like they could've just told us what at the end. Also, am I the only one that found the first musical number a bit shoehorned and random? I mean, she's complaining about that little test when she hasn't even finished it yet.
