NBA Discussion Thread

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Yeah, I'm usually the first person to shout a fixed game, but the Spurs choked. Of course, Ginobili got fouled near the end, but the officiating as a whole was sketchy this game. What else can you expect with Joe Crawford reffing?

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Good thing: Heat have not won back-to-back games since the start of the ECF.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

From what I heard, "fans" started pouring out when the Heat were down by five. When they heard that the Heat staged a comeback, they begged to be let back in only to be refused.

Dat bandwagon lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Miami needed to win to force a Game 7, now let's see if they can keep the momentum they have from winning this game to take the series on their homecourt.

I flat out dislike him, because he hates both the Spurs and Tim Duncan for some odd reason I hope once Stern retires, the NBA fires Crawford ASAP he's bad for the NBA.

Not a good season for Ray Allen now that his records are being broke.

I have a certain distaste for him before this season even started, but I have to give him his credit. That shot might have just saved the Miami Heat and even if it doesn't, that was pretty damn clutch, and even I can admit that.

Idk, I saw pictures of the shot and it looked clean to me. *shrug* Definitely looked like a foul when you see it at full speed but Idk. 50/50 calls usually don't go for Heat opponents anyway and IMO they had already lost before that.

I doubt Game 7 will be as good as the last game, but I guess I might as well tune in all the same. I really thought the Spurs could close the deal but since it'll be one game for all the marbles, I guess I could stomach watching the Heat play one last time this year. Ugh, I think I'm going to be sick...

dmaster out.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I don't like the Spurs' chances of winning it in Game 7 either, but let's not forget the Spurs hung with the Heat in American Airlines Arena two out of three games. This time, they've got to not only do it again, but finish.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I doubt Duncan is going to put that kind of night again. I'm just being a realist; they completely wasted his effort in Game 6 and they needed him to keep it up in order to win (which they clearly didn't do). I'm just hoping it won't be a blow out either way.

I have a feeling Lebron James is going to have a monster game tonight and he will score like 40 points. I never thought I would say this, but I think the Heat will win even know I hate them.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

LeBron knows this game will further cement the legacy he'd have. He'd need another ring to start getting in the conversation with MJ, Bird, Magic, Kareem and Kobe as the best players with multiple rings.

Sure, his parting with Cleveland was messy, and hindsight's 20/20, but he still has a chance to go back there, although I think he burned all the bridges (figuratively) to go back to Cleveland.

The Flu Game >>> The Headband Game

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

LeBron slurpers be like, "32 points on 11/26 shooting. G.O.A.T."

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

That was certainly a Charlming shot to end that quarter lol.

dmaster out.
